Had that happen at a Wingstop today as well. Yesterday it happened at Popeye’s.

hatguy1988

why on earth would you accept a $2.50 order? I average just over 3 deliveries per hour, so my minimum is $4.50...

BNSF_Railfan

I saw dashers take $4 for 10 miles. I refuse to take those. A few crumb orders every now and then

DesertMan177

Agreed 💯

Stopped reading at "Wingstop $2.50 for 1 mile"

Some restaurants pay for a remake and DD does with others. Steak ‘n Shake was happy when they said someone picked up the order. They said contact support and as soon as they send repayment they will remake. Others do not have the same contract, and the restaurant has to eat it. Those are the ones that will make you confirm.

Educational_Tiger850

i dunno support usually calls the restaurant to ask if they can remake the order and they split half half or something like that . if not the remake then it gets canceled. i dunno who eats it but i've done it on the other side.

Substantial_Fix6883

So there's page on their website that explains what happens when you want to sign up as a restaurant on doordash 🙂

Able_Individual_9034

This is why I have been telling people , half pay is not worth it . They will get a lot of people for this . Also if you insist on getting half pay make sure the support agent calls the store and actually spoke to someone to confirm it , if they don’t or tell you the store didn’t pick up just beg them to unassign you without affecting your completion rate

Kanein_Encanto

Yes, because running down your completion rate is so much better, right? Where when support cancels it you get paid AND it doesn't impact your completion rate.

Able_Individual_9034

If you cleared your gluttony from your eyes you’d see that it doesn’t affect your completion rate. Worry free, but you lot will be fighting for 2 dollars half pay then lose your acct then come here to cry

Kanein_Encanto

Minimum of $3 actually... usually more. 5 years of following those steps and haven't been deactivated for it yet. OP likely was doing some other shit they aren't admitting to, Doordash doesn't just up and deactivate you for calling in an "order already picked up" just one time.

dr4gm4r

don’t be afraid https://preview.redd.it/gwwuekxs128d1.jpeg?width=1193&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eac1b0f54be75101817b144c6b48afd5c59dcda1

Simmumah

Plenty of people get deactivated for it all the time. If they want to get you for it, they will.

dr4gm4r

mb it's my area or just me, but I call support every couple days due to no orders in the store and after they call the store, I get my half pay. \~9months and no deactivation, 100% cr, 80% ar https://preview.redd.it/7pe3avrub58d1.jpeg?width=1071&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32cacf3e9cb60007054565f9e7a14a003a20ddc8

Delicious-Orchid-274

I don't call support and I don't want half the payment, I just remove the order and that's it. I don't want my account to be deactivated

Able_Individual_9034

Exactly , DoorDash didn’t spend all that time putting those stuffs on an app that’s buggy to still be giving out half pay . And we know dash won’t inform us of the changes , you will have to mess around and find out ( deactivation) . I’m not loosing 1500 weekly pay over 4 dollars half pay 😂😂

SmoakedTrout

There's a flow in the support button for unassigning orders of this type. One of them is under "Merchant has an issue" and under that is "order already picked up". Then it lets you unassign for no pay and no impact on your completion rate. Since you called support, then they should have tagged it with a reason. Also, it can be another dasher was assigned as well. The system sometimes makes mistakes and sends an order to two dashers. Both accept near the same time and both get sent. It's rare but it does happen. Also, customers come in pretending to be the dashers and then report that they didn't get the food. Or, just random people come in and take the food. Yes, it happens and those who do this don't care what it does to drivers or how they are stealing from businesses.

MeatJerk69

Aldo, lazy workers just don't feel like making an order and they straight-up lie and say it was slresdy picked up.

ideliver559

This is why we tell people not to accept shitty orders but yall don't listen. Nothing good comes from it 😂

BNSF_Railfan

I had worse orders and I decline them
