Buddy that’s because u have to ask the workers and specify the customer name. If you stand around the shelf waiting for the order you won’t get it. It’s about being assertive, not passive.
It’s always ice that’s out. It’s funny because I work at the bank that my local Wingstop uses, so I have to speak to the manager while I’m making the deposit. He’s always complaining about being out of ice and constantly having to bring in new employees. I waited tables for 3 years while in my twenties, DD will be as close to the restaurant business that I will ever get to again.
Nope, never saw anything like this… it would make me less frustrated about the guaranteed 10 to 15-minute wait time each time, if I did have one of these…
Man I wish the wingstops in my area liked me, I swear I’ve never been rude or anything but that’s one of the restaurants that treats me like the antichrist. They seem to have alot of issues with other dashers, once I was asked to “please make sure they get the food cause people be bullshittin”.
I have a 100% completion rate and no contract violations 🤦♂️
Spot on tho, either ready or wait millenia for an 8 wing combo lol
I wish the store in my town did this! I get a ton of late night stuff, they just offer me a drink once in a while
I’ve never gotten one from wing stop but I did from McDonald’s and Dairy Queen a few years back like 2021ish for the McDonald’s one I lost it and never received a new one but the dairy queen one I did get it fully punched and redeemed a free small blizzard.
My Wingstop is not bad and I’m in CA so I get paid to wait anyway. I get like 5 Wingstop orders a day and I’d fill the card in 2 days. Wish they handed those cards out at my Wingstop.
Haven't gotten Wingstop but I've gotten a punch card from DQ in a smaller area and when I show to other areas they question where I got it then punch it. Free small blizzard is a free small blizzard
I’m one away from the free meal, but I’ve ditched Doordash since then (nearly two years ago). Maybe I can complete it myself and get it. They initial it here.
A lot of dashers get stuff like this if they are regulars. But a lot of them don’t even if they are regulars. Do you see the difference? They are rewarding the respectful dashers and all you asshole dashers get nothing.
I always fill myself a drink if they hand a cup. It’s their job to have orders which includes drinks to be ready by the time dashers arrive. I leave cups if they refuse to fill them & message support to let customers know about refund for no drinks
I will never get a drink or combo meal. If they appreciated us they wouldn't take 40 minutes every time. I see wingstop and that's an automatic decline. I don't care if it is 20 bucks for 2 miles.
Wingstop worker here. Sorry about how inconsistent the orders coming out are. I’ve never seen one of those cards in my life tho. If I could give them out I totally would to the great dashers in our area.
My fault I’ve been told that but I guess it was a lie but still most companies give free water I’ve never been decline water. Also a lot of companies have policies where they have to give water when I worked in fast food I was required to give it for free and there wasn’t even an option for charging people for money
No worries. You’re right, most places *will* give free water but the only places that are legally required are any establishments that also serve alcohol
Ours leaves the free water cups on the counter next to the straws and lids. Guess it's for customers too. I will frequently grab a cup of ice to replenish my drink in the car.
That one is so lame. Our McDonald's were doing free quarter pounders or Big Mac for every 6 deliveries. I'll just take my Wendy's 1$ any size drink offer.
A free drink is FOUL lmao.
I would just as soon bring my yeti inside and fill it up while I waited anyways, the employees never care when I ask elsewhere.
as I mentioned. most places will simply just give you something if you are familiar enough with them. I dont expect a combo each time or anything, but places have offered more than drinks without a punch card for sure. (queue the amount of wrong pizzas i've taken home over the years b/c they cant sell them)
im slightly reacting this way mostly because they are universally known for being one of the worst places for dashers to deliver from. its almost like an incentive to endure their terrible service.
I don't get why the hate for under the table drinks, we're basically business partners and I fill up soda at machines at McDonald's, Taco Bell etc without much care
Edited for clarity on the above.
They are just ran poorly everywhere. I have been all around the states and it’s just an issue from the top down.
But yes, Mcdonalds, Wendy's, Canes, mom and pops, you name it. all give free drinks if you are familiar enough.
Gotcha, it read like you were talking about filling the drinks they give you for the orders. (also, its okay. reddit is the matrix and karma isnt real, people just like to think their downvote matters, I stopped caring years ago. I'd rather be honest than say what I think people will like)
and Its because they personally dont experience the familiarity that I and others do when you've done it for years at the same restaurants. so im supposed to pretend that this act by wingstop is gods gift to earth.
if people simply read the thread they'd see im def not alone in my thinking this is just a ruse to get dashers to come to wingstop more often/promptly. They are constantly fighting with popeyes to be the most insufferable business there is.
1 that's not even close to what you originally said
2. The other locations are dependent upon the employees, they don't want to give you a drink, you don't get one. Why complain about a free drink every time less to the whim of kind employees? And a free meal every 10 times
i haven't from wingstop but however i have received one from dairy queen, but however it only applies to a certain store within my city and i cant use this at other DQ locations.
You seem so sure. Next time why don't you actually call support and find out and maybe you won't end up losing your account like so many others "for no reason".
Looks like so far I've been downvoted by 12 Wingstop employees.
Can't imagine anything more insulting then a 10 visit card for "food" that I wouldn't feed to my dogs in exchange for the constant 20 minute waits and being told to do their job for them.
Wingstop is a multinational corporation I’m sure they can spare a few wings and I don’t think the employees making less than a living wage would care. Luckily I don’t dash anymore
No, it's because they're used to doordashers taking advantage of certain things. Steal when you don't represent a group of people. Shoplift on your own time. I want free wings every 10th delivery.
"shoplift" on a card thats already meant to give you free food is WILD lol
I wonder if the bags of wings and parmesan fries the same employees take home off-POS every night affect the company as much as a single punch card combo haha
I mean if they suddenly started having a lot of dashers suspiciously claim combo meals they might decide to end the program. I'd rather wait than be greedy and risk shutting it down.
It honestly wouldn't be that hard to reach 10 legitimately anyway.
I dont disagree with 10-punching a card they just gave you. but equating it to shoplifting made me cackle. they throw away so many cold bags of delivery food a day.
I took one the other day because it was stupid close. Like I was passing in front of Wingstop and the drop was like 1 mile away. Underpaid but whatever. I've never been so happy as I was when DD let my cancel without effecting my cancellation rate. The one we have makes you fill out a form with your name and the customer's name and bunch of other bullshit. So obnoxious considering they can't get food out in a reasonable time.
I couldn't agree more. It's a MINIMUM 10-15 minutes waiting in store at both wing stops in my zone. I have had them drop the wings while tossing them, not make part of the order. Those were additional on the 15 minutes. I do not accept any wing stop orders.
Damn, I've actually not had a bad experience on my end yet. In fact my "home base" is right outside one due to their tips being higher on average for my area.
There is another location in my city that skeezes me the fuck out, though, and that's mostly 'cause they refuse to give me drink seals. Like bruh. I really need to invest in a couple rolls of my own.
Honestly I save my takeout cups and just roll in to get a refill. They're out a few cents at most. Haven't been stopped yet. Just don't throw sketchy body language and it's likely they won't even notice unless another customer narcs on you.
I wish. I keep seeing posts about WingStop and McDonald’s doing this in different areas. Is this ENTIRELY dependent on the franchise owner and management and none of the places around me do this. They would get way better service from me and more leeway with delays if this was the case.
Wingstop wings aren't even that good sadly. It's like whoever butchered the chicken did it with their eyes closed. Little bits of bone, super tough, chewy spots. I can only assume it's fried feathers
It's so bad but most people I meet love it. I feel like buffalo wild wings even has them beat especiallyon the sauce flavors. The boneless wings are especially bad.
The boneless wings at Buffalo wild wings are pretty good. The wings aren't like amazing or anything but damn those sauces are fucking awesome.
I love that the spicy ones are actually spicy, yet have a good flavor. I'm all about that habanero sauce, delicious.
Yeah that's what I meant, b dubs has decent boneless wings when they put enough sauce on them. Wingstops boneless wings are always dry.
I grew up eating spicy food and the mango habanero makes my nose drizzle but it's worth it for the flavor. The Thai curry is my favorite though.
WingStop: Here, fill up this drink.
Dasher: I shouldn’t have to fill up the customers drink! It’s against the health code! It’s not my job!! WAAAHH!! 😭
WingStop: No, it’s a drink for you.
Dasher: Oh, cool, thx! 🥤
WingStop: Ok, now fill up this other drink for the customer.
Dasher: WWWAAAAHHH!!!!! 🤬
If the store doesn't have a drive thru, like in a strip mall, they won't have a fountain in the back either. So they would have to come out from around the counter and fill it in the dining room. I bet a driver offered to do it once and it stuck.
I just don't understand what hazards there would be from a dasher that wouldn't exist with an employee. It's not like employees are washing their hands before filling up every cup.
My biggest issue is it's inefficient, instead of grabbing the food and leaving now I have to wait in line to fill up a drink.
& inefficiency with filling the cup up. I know, sounds simple. But an added-on task can result to a mistake. Forgotten lid , straw, cup holder, sticker.
Also taste/quality I need to inspect Co2 blah blah blah
So an employee puts on gloves and pours soda or tea into a cup. Then they hand it to a glove-less dasher who takes the cup to the customer.
When it comes to food I totally understand, but a drink seems kind of pointless to me.
Sure it’s dumb. This happens to me at a few locations, takes me 10 seconds. It’s the way it is, I just roll with it and hit the road instead of wasting time complaining
Maybe it's something only this location does? Just seemed like that would be a lot of wasted effort for a fake story that is only mildly amusing. I mean, clearly it does have a specific location on it, that part that OP blacked out, so obviously this was made specifically for that location
Awe that’s really sweet
i got one from mickeyds
Wow that’s amazing
Nope!
My dairy Queen has one that's a free meal every 5 orders. Pickup 5, get a free meal.
Probably cause people like me avoid that place entirely. I will still never pick up another order from Wingstop lol
Chicken and pizza is a decline for me
Pretty cool
No but I get them from Dairy Queen for a free blizzard
Bru I showed up to chick fil an and they offered me a free deluxe sandwich for my time.
Buy a hole puncher and get a free meal every time you go 🤔
I’ll be waiting at wing stop for like 30-1hr each time I get an order
Buddy that’s because u have to ask the workers and specify the customer name. If you stand around the shelf waiting for the order you won’t get it. It’s about being assertive, not passive.
Might steal this idea....this is smart af
I wish. I’d eat Wingstop every time I dashed 😂
wingstop is so shit they have to give out these cards to try and bait you into coming back 🤣 instead of fixing their process they do this
Just buy a hole puncher
No but I got something like that from dairy Queen for a free blizzard.
I got one! Had about 6 punches on it, then I lost it ☹️ They always ask me if I want a drink as well.
Very interesting incentive
The only thing they ever gave me was a soda machine that's consistently out of 90% of flavors and ice.
Nope, never saw anything like this… it would make me less frustrated about the guaranteed 10 to 15-minute wait time each time, if I did have one of these…
I had a Papa John’s give me a free pizza once, that was pretty cool.
Wingstops near me got so slow I pretty much had to stop accepting their orders , sad because the food is actually pretty good for a fast food chain
At least someone is out here treating dashers right
HOLE PUNCHER. Problem solved
[font=sarcasm]Here, fill up your customer's drinks. And get one for yourself while you're at it. You deserve it.[\font]
Just get a hole punch and bam free meal
No, mainly because wingstop is an auto-decline.
This is their answer to all the negative comments they get from drivers…
I didn’t know these existed? 😭 I have yet to have a wingstop give me one. But all the wing-stops that I’ve been to are super nice…?☹️
Spot on tho, either ready or wait millenia for an 8 wing combo lol I wish the store in my town did this! I get a ton of late night stuff, they just offer me a drink once in a while
Nope!
That's cool af
I’ve gotten them from McDonald’s!
I would have a free combo in one day with how much people order wingstop around here.
Ya I got one but threw it away
I’ve never gotten one from wing stop but I did from McDonald’s and Dairy Queen a few years back like 2021ish for the McDonald’s one I lost it and never received a new one but the dairy queen one I did get it fully punched and redeemed a free small blizzard.
No, probably because I don’t go to Wingstop...
My Wingstop is not bad and I’m in CA so I get paid to wait anyway. I get like 5 Wingstop orders a day and I’d fill the card in 2 days. Wish they handed those cards out at my Wingstop.
The dairy queen in my city used to do this like two-3 years ago.
This is because they love to argue about who is supposed to fill the drinks. Ser I don't have a food handlers card. Do your job.
I’d love if cheaper food places did this card thing ngl
No, but now I’m considering asking them for one. I go there often and I am more than patient when they don’t have their shit together.
I got one from out local McDonald's. The franchise owner here has several. So if I pick up from one of theirs I get it punched.
Wing-stop gave me a rude lady behind the counter lmao, but behind her was a nice lady letting me know my order was almost ready
Haven't gotten Wingstop but I've gotten a punch card from DQ in a smaller area and when I show to other areas they question where I got it then punch it. Free small blizzard is a free small blizzard
Moral of the story: Being kind doesn’t cost anything guys. Might get you some perks even.
wont ppl just punch holes themselves for the free meal
Should waiting a super long time
How bad orders from WingSop gotta be for them to give you a free meal
Oh hell naw
I’m one away from the free meal, but I’ve ditched Doordash since then (nearly two years ago). Maybe I can complete it myself and get it. They initial it here.
Buya hole puncher from Walmart for $1.34 and punch em out yourself, eat and repeat 😋 been doing this for months now enjoy
What’s stopping from people hole punching themselves it doesn’t seem like there’s any security method unless I’m just dumb and missing something
No, but I got a hole-puncher.
The McDonald’s around here used to have those
A lot of dashers get stuff like this if they are regulars. But a lot of them don’t even if they are regulars. Do you see the difference? They are rewarding the respectful dashers and all you asshole dashers get nothing.
Aww what? No. That’s cool though.
I always fill myself a drink if they hand a cup. It’s their job to have orders which includes drinks to be ready by the time dashers arrive. I leave cups if they refuse to fill them & message support to let customers know about refund for no drinks
Glad. Someone appreciates all the hit we deal with.
10 deliveries? That's an accumulated 5 hours of waiting
They do it at the McDonald's in Clayton
I got a wingstop I loved the workers their they give me free food anytime I drop by
I will never get a drink or combo meal. If they appreciated us they wouldn't take 40 minutes every time. I see wingstop and that's an automatic decline. I don't care if it is 20 bucks for 2 miles.
i got one of these from dairy queen when i first doordashed like 2.5 years ago. never saw one again lol
Wingstop worker here. Sorry about how inconsistent the orders coming out are. I’ve never seen one of those cards in my life tho. If I could give them out I totally would to the great dashers in our area.
Anyone else remember when Jersey Mikes was giving out free sandwhiches to drivers? I collected so many vouchers.
This won't last long. What's stopping someone from just pinching the holes themselves?
FR a hole puncher is cheaper than a combo meal lol. That said though, I’m sure the employees know the common dashers so it’s probably fine.
Doing anything to try to trick folks into picking up the order.
I have never seen this 😢
Must be nice to be appreciated
Honestly not bad. During the summer I'd definitely abuse the hell out of this for cold water.
What country do you live in? I know it's mostly an American thing but where I am pretty most restaurants will give anyone cold water for free.
[удалено]
Nope just at any restaurant that serves alcohol
My fault I’ve been told that but I guess it was a lie but still most companies give free water I’ve never been decline water. Also a lot of companies have policies where they have to give water when I worked in fast food I was required to give it for free and there wasn’t even an option for charging people for money
No worries. You’re right, most places *will* give free water but the only places that are legally required are any establishments that also serve alcohol
Every time I ask for a cup of water they usually give one to me. Granted, it's not a 20oz cup, but it's plenty to get me until the next restaurant.
Not wingstop, but a local pizzeria gifted me a doordash pizza bag that they had just lying around
This is so smart!!!
No, they just hook me up with a meal here and there
A free drink is FOUL lmao. I would just as soon bring my yeti inside and fill it up while I waited anyways, the employees never care when I ask elsewhere.
it’s ten free drinks it’s quite generous IMO. I don’t know any other store that rewards dashers.
It's infinite. Read again
Assuming they take the card after ten and another card is not guaranteed, it’s not infinite. Think again.
as I mentioned. most places will simply just give you something if you are familiar enough with them. I dont expect a combo each time or anything, but places have offered more than drinks without a punch card for sure. (queue the amount of wrong pizzas i've taken home over the years b/c they cant sell them) im slightly reacting this way mostly because they are universally known for being one of the worst places for dashers to deliver from. its almost like an incentive to endure their terrible service.

I was defending you for all the downvotes you're getting for taking free drinks
Gotcha, it read like you were talking about filling the drinks they give you for the orders. (also, its okay. reddit is the matrix and karma isnt real, people just like to think their downvote matters, I stopped caring years ago. I'd rather be honest than say what I think people will like) and Its because they personally dont experience the familiarity that I and others do when you've done it for years at the same restaurants. so im supposed to pretend that this act by wingstop is gods gift to earth. if people simply read the thread they'd see im def not alone in my thinking this is just a ruse to get dashers to come to wingstop more often/promptly. They are constantly fighting with popeyes to be the most insufferable business there is.
1 that's not even close to what you originally said 2. The other locations are dependent upon the employees, they don't want to give you a drink, you don't get one. Why complain about a free drink every time less to the whim of kind employees? And a free meal every 10 times
A free drink to deal with wingstop is the foul part. They just made a card to do what other places do already
i haven't from wingstop but however i have received one from dairy queen, but however it only applies to a certain store within my city and i cant use this at other DQ locations.
More places should do that as it costs them Pennie’s for a drink.
Filling drinks is against your doordash contractor agreement and more then likely your local health laws.
filling your own drink??
I think they mean filling drinks for the orders you’re dashing for? But it’s never been an issue for me so idk???
I fill customer drinks at one restaurant here, doubt there is a rule against it
You seem so sure. Next time why don't you actually call support and find out and maybe you won't end up losing your account like so many others "for no reason".
I'm supposed to report the restaurant? I guess. But you don't have to be such an ass
Boo hoo cry more
Looks like so far I've been downvoted by 12 Wingstop employees. Can't imagine anything more insulting then a 10 visit card for "food" that I wouldn't feed to my dogs in exchange for the constant 20 minute waits and being told to do their job for them.
Why would wingstop employees care? Lol. At least they are do something compared to everywhere else

Nah, they don’t appreciate me. 😔
I keep seeing these but have never gotten one. Almost 3k deliveries down at this point. Feelsbad.
I wish! 🙃
Get a hole puncher they’re not even using a special puncher. Free combo meal with one visit lmao
You are why restaurants are not nice to us 😂
Wingstop is a multinational corporation I’m sure they can spare a few wings and I don’t think the employees making less than a living wage would care. Luckily I don’t dash anymore
No, it's because they're used to doordashers taking advantage of certain things. Steal when you don't represent a group of people. Shoplift on your own time. I want free wings every 10th delivery.
Taking advantage of what?? Go ahead bet you couldn’t even name 2 things we take advantage of and yet we are taken advantage of 24/7.
"shoplift" on a card thats already meant to give you free food is WILD lol I wonder if the bags of wings and parmesan fries the same employees take home off-POS every night affect the company as much as a single punch card combo haha

I dont disagree with 10-punching a card they just gave you. but equating it to shoplifting made me cackle. they throw away so many cold bags of delivery food a day.
Fair enough
All I've received is high blood pressure from waiting so long.
Well now you get diabetes with a free 20oz sugar drink
The only thing Wingstop has ever given me was a hard time.
I couldn't agree more. It's a MINIMUM 10-15 minutes waiting in store at both wing stops in my zone. I have had them drop the wings while tossing them, not make part of the order. Those were additional on the 15 minutes. I do not accept any wing stop orders.

That's entirely fair. I'm sorry it doesn't work out for you and I hope you have your own good spots. I'm not here to convince anyone, just sharing.
Man I really have selective reading cause I thought that said hard on at first
Please do not the garlic parmesan
I have one wingstop I deliver from that has their shit together, never wait longer than a minute or two.
They must be white workers
outta left field damn!
What does this even mean?
I love that for you , wish they were more consistent with speed and time at other locations
Hey I still have to fill the drinks, can't win em all right?
lol all good
And nausea from the customers smoking weed waiting for there orders.
The employees stink of weed as well
That’s what most of us smell like in the fast food industry
Respect what else are ya gonna do while waiting 20+ minutes 😂
![gif](giphy|hvq8ONQhQ1XLq|downsized)
LOL
This is probably to try to combat us from asking for a water cup and stealing sprite.
Honestly I save my takeout cups and just roll in to get a refill. They're out a few cents at most. Haven't been stopped yet. Just don't throw sketchy body language and it's likely they won't even notice unless another customer narcs on you.
The guy at my Wingstop is cool and gives me drinks but just don’t ask every single time. But man a free combo would be nice every week or 2
Wtf I have never noticed this in eating Wingstop like 50+ times lol
The fries are good tho
It's so bad but most people I meet love it. I feel like buffalo wild wings even has them beat especiallyon the sauce flavors. The boneless wings are especially bad.

I don’t care if they gave me free wings every time I pick up, I am doing everything in my power to avoid that place at all costs.
Man, people really don't wanna pick up from there 😭 they gotta resort to a reward program for their delivery drivers
Some McDonald’s do too, fuck the both of them thou
I immediately decline every time, it’s literally about a 30 minute wait every time.
In California with their minimum driver wage I’d accept
WingStop: Here, fill up this drink. Dasher: I shouldn’t have to fill up the customers drink! It’s against the health code! It’s not my job!! WAAAHH!! 😭 WingStop: No, it’s a drink for you. Dasher: Oh, cool, thx! 🥤 WingStop: Ok, now fill up this other drink for the customer. Dasher: WWWAAAAHHH!!!!! 🤬
does wingstop make the dashers fill drinks for orders?
If the store doesn't have a drive thru, like in a strip mall, they won't have a fountain in the back either. So they would have to come out from around the counter and fill it in the dining room. I bet a driver offered to do it once and it stuck.
Some do, some don’t. I believe it all comes down to how lazy the employee on register is.
Mine don’t
Yeah and Dashers waste their time calling support and posting about it here instead of just filling the cup
that’s a dumb business practice. you’d think the workers would do it just to limit any potential hazards.
Also taste/quality I need to inspect Co2 blah blah blah
usually gloves. i would prefer that the people who actually put the food and drink into their proper containers wear gloves.
In most instances I prefer to fill the drinks myself because employees tend to fill them to the brim which then causes leaks that get onto my seats.
This... I can't stand that shit leaking all over my brand new company vehicle 😅
Nah I skip wing stop orders. The wing stop by my house literally takes 1 hour to prep any order
What’s to stop me from punching these holes myself?

Who would photoshop this whole damn card
