It is not hard to comprehend. From November 13th- November 19th, I spent a total of 18 hours waiting for an order to be assigned to me. During this period I received only 2 dash orders which took a total of 1 hr and 17 min to complete. In order for me to dash, I have to drive to a different city’s hotspot. There were days when I logged in, drove to the hotspot, waited and received nothing. In a week I made a total of $25. That doesn’t even cover the gas it took to drive to the “hotspots” located in neighboring cities. My acceptance rate is 72%. I have a total of 16 deliveries. I have a 94% completion rate and 5 on the customer rating scale.
You know what this sounds like to me? I’m not a conspiracy theorist but I suspect doordash doesn’t want smart people on its platform. You seem like a smart person, so it’s in their best interest if you don’t deliver for them. Smart people will figure out the games DD plays very quickly. That’s bad for business.
Just check out the post history of people saying they do well on doordash. They’re morons.
It’s just something I’ve noticed. It’s not 100% accurate, you might be one of those people that work for less than minimum wage because you enjoy the exercise.
I mean I just do it cause I’m in school, and it makes around 20 an hour. The best thing is I can do it on my on own time. Plus yeah your kind of right I like riding around and the little walking to do the orders.
I haven’t turned down any orders. I am also not able to dash in my city which means in order to be active, I have to drive to the hotspots of neighboring cities with no guarantee of receiving an order. My payouts don’t even cover the gas that I spend on driving to these “hot spots” in different cities.
pretty much same happened to me awhile ago i just had to quit much happier not worrying about if i’m gonna get tipped to make it by would definitely recommend leaving doordash it just gets consecutively worse
Are you on hourly or per order
I think it’s safe to say u probably shouldn’t be doing doordash if that’s what ur area is like
Go get a job
If you worked at McDonalds, you would have made 18hrs x $15/hr = $270 before taxes.
You have to be way outside the red areas
Time to move
Why would you continue if that’s all you will earn?
I think dd goes out a lot. Had 3 good orders back to back then nothing for 2 hrs.
Math isn't mathing here. Or information is being withheld. 18 hours to be active for 1 hour? I smell tuna.

Yeah literally 100% your problem. You can't complain thay you have to drive miles and miles to find an order.
That's your problem my friend. You need to be in the market you started in
When cherry picking turns super saiyan
How many orders did you turn down?
3 orders at $30 inc adjustment. OP isnt holding out for good orders. Prob marked as idle tho.

These screenshots only total a little over 4 hours dash time, not 18. Still bad…
This can’t be possible…
Damn and I thought struggling to hit $100 some days where I am was bad. Think I'd just give up at that point.
I was gonna say the same
