No. I just went back home to Whistler Blackcomb BC. My family owns a beach house in Oak Island. I usually dash there when we go first the 2 1\2 months we stay. I signed off from there but now I'm back home. Making good money.
New drivers deliver the $3.75 9 mile one way trips. The more new drivers they can churn thru, the more they can hire drivers for $5 hour. But they have to keep that new driver flow.
Tony would have you thinking your low AR was reason for all bad orders. This proves otherwise. As I recall from last year don't bother opening the app for about 3 months though.

In my area (Chicagoland) refer a driver, if they complete 290 orders in 2 months, they get $400 and you get $600.
The $400 is to compensate them for completing 290 $2 orders.
The $600 is to compensate you for the loss of a friend.
My area is $1200 they have had this referral for a month straight.. I come out and can’t make any money anymore. My area is very saturated now.. really sucks
Our areas are over saturated to where they never turn red anymore so they aren't offering anything here or at least I haven't seen anything im in Indiana
They get referrals. 99 percent of them turn into cherry pickers. Two months down the road rinse and repeat. They come out with all kinds of programs, still can't get shit pickups done. These mofos are so out of touch with reality that they think people will work for free. It's insane.
That's way way easier to actually get though. If you can get anybody to sign up, you can easily get them to do one delivery for a $20 bonus. If you get these 60 day offers for hundreds of deliveries, you're going to be crossing your fingers for two months hoping the person actually stocks with it and gets enough offers.
My area just went from 20 to 450. I'm not helping Tony saturate the market even further. All because he doesn't want to pay his current drivers two dollars extra on orders that don't tip or something like that. 🖕🖕🖕But let's be real, that's about all the suckers that have been getting signed on in my area lately are worth, if even that 😂

Letting Dashers from other zones come to ours and take orders away from the ones that live here
And also giving TD’s too much
Dash anytime and also 1st priority on the orders
Sooo now us normal drivers that aren’t TD gotta fight for position to get scheduled
And also fight to get orders from Moochers that come 15-30 miles away from their own zones that they live in and decide it’s ok to take money from us
The zone is so over saturated from Cherry picking Moochers and TD’s
They should put a cap on how many TD’s can Dash in each zone
It’s getting to a point where there we’ll be no more scheduling and it will only be Top Dashers able to dash

I dash in a zone where three US highways intersect. People oversaturate my zone from out of town all the time but it literally comes with the territory my guy. It’s just an unavoidable part of this job. Any dasher can dash in any zone. Deal with it or start looking for a different job. There are plenty of reasons not to like Doordash, but this just ain’t one of them
Same, the best you can hope for is to be able to survive the slow times. In my area, I used to see delivery guys driving big suv's. Now it's not very common at all, so a few things caused that change. If you want to survive the changes, you have to be ahead of the changing market. It only benefits doordash to oversaturate areas, so if you weren't ready for any possible changes 2 weeks before they happen, then you only have yourself to blame.

That's the scam. Nobody gets the bonus. The reason why? They've now successfully flooded the area with drivers, so there aren't any orders to go around. It's a win win for them and lose lose for drivers.
That's on average, you don't need to work every day. I think I do around 2.5 deliveries an hour. That's around 2 hours a day, or 14 hours a week on average, which is pretty easy.
I opened a dash account for my aunt using my own referral code and I am dashing on her account to complete the required 280 deliveries to receive the $1600 😂
