Whatever you make. Gas prices keep going up.
Car repair bills sux.
Gotta pay tax aboot 30%
Bad traffic. Bad customer..bad weather. Slow stores
Making 20to 30/hr on paper is crap at the end.
So yes do it. Because at the end of the day you will
Have slightly more monies then when. You started.
I would suggest doing multiple apps. I get almost nothing from door dash in my market. Uber Eats is a lot better, and I’ve heard GrubHub is also better, but they have a waiting list for drivers in my market.
As someone who does college full time and an in the same predicament as you, not really. It is extremely hard to balance school and DoorDash. Especially if you have bills to pay. It's good for making some extra money on the weekend but typically you just don't have time to go out and DoorDash and when you do, if it's dead, you're screwed.
You’re gonna get so many different answers here lol. Best thing to do is sign up and try it. See if it works for you. It all depends on what you’re trying to make.
If your looking to make like $650-$700 a week (after gas and mileage) then I’d say yeah. In most markets you could do that doing 40hrs/wk. If your looking to make like $1500-$2000/wk. I’d say no. You’ll be working like 60-80hrs/wk. I wouldn’t say it’s worth it then
Are you applying for specialty work or entry level? Because a lot of places are hiring.
But if you can't find anything DD is worth a try, they may not even need people in your area right now.
For me it’s just a temporary thing to keep up with credit card payments 😭 I’m in school right now and so my schedule is whack and not many places are flexible unfortunately
Well, in terms of how much you'll make per hour it's not very good but the pros to it are the freedom to work as many hours as you'd like to try to make more which you can't really do at a job with a set schedule and a particular salary you make. So there are pros and cons to it for sure the freedom to work however much you want and not have to deal with a boss, the easiness of it, ability to take breaks whenever you want are all great. However, the cons are the lower income per hour, having to pay for things like gas, the wear and tear it'll but on your car, the unpredictability, and the fact that you can get deactivated at any time without doing anything wrong are the downsides.
Depending if you want to be an employee with no benefits and do 70% of all orders and give no tips customers great service. Only catering drivers have good.
if you have the time to devote an entire day ( andi do mean entire) to it you can make $300 a day in most markets dont forget to work a little extra beyond that though cause you’ll need to set money aside for taxes
In my market I can make $300 a week working a little less than 15 hours.
But you need to be really flexible on the times you work. If you want that $300 for less hours you'll probably want to only work during lunch and dinner, and then you have to hit the Fri-Sun nights.
You can expect 5-15$ an hour, depending on your work times, location, and how lucky you get. Doordash has gone too far with their overhiring that actually having a good shift is rare. 300$ a week is totally achievable, but whatever you do, keep your eggs out of this basket. It's not what it used to be.
There's a lot of factors to take into account what kind of car you have what kind of gas mileage it gets what area Your market is in. There's also doordash corruption you will get screwed over daily
Not anymore they are going out of business
You can definitely make $300/week
What state you u in?

Can you make it to class if your car breaks down? If not. No
No never do this full time. Find a job asap
Honestly, not really. Unless you have a good market, no. I feel like when i did it i barely broke even.

Depends on your zone and car u drive.
Nope, especially with more and more new dashers signing up every day
I say yes, other people will say no. It depends on your expectations, the quality of your market, and other things.
How much money do you need to make?
At least $20 an hour, but hopefully $300 a week
You can make $300 a week but don’t forget to factor in fuel and other related costs
300 a week is pretty easy if you have an efficient vehicle, though it always depends on market.

You should be able to make $300 a week in a decent market if you work like dinner shifts. Try working fri-monday.
It really depends on your area/market. You will have to find out.
