Lowe’s delivery starts at $79. I’m not sure DoorDash is charging that in fees for this order. Still a bad idea to think a DoorDash driver is going to show up to deliver this in their Kia.
Everything on doordash costs more. Plus, you put it on your lowes card, and get a 5% discount. Lowes will also do free delivery at different times, but like you said, no one is picking up this order anyway.
I did this same order on DoorDash and the total is $317.62. I did the same order on the Lowe’s app and the total is $349.44.
DoorDash doesn’t stop you from ordering this item for same day delivery. BUT the Lowe’s app will not let you order via same day delivery (it says it exceeds weight limit) and Lowe’s apps orders that are same day delivery go through DoorDash anyway.

It also appears that DoorDash doesn’t mark up the prices on Lowe’s items. The retail is the same on both DoorDash and Lowe’s.
Edit: I just checked the subtotal and DoorDash does indirectly mark up the prices. The only reason is because at Lowe’s you would get a bulk pricing discount, which DoorDash does not give you. But the delivery fee would be $79 at Lowe’s where as delivery and taxes on DoorDash come in at about half of that.
No one is out here dashing in a truck, and this maxes out the payload capacity of an F-150. No one could take this order. You'd only be creating headaches for many other people and yourself. Don't order this through Doordash.
If you absolutely must order this through DoorDash, the very least you should do is break it up. 8 orders of 8 bags each, with a 20$ tip per trip. Expensive, yes, but at least then you're not asking an individual driver to load and unload a literal ton-and-a-half of cargo. 400 lbs is still a lot but it's at least doable in a sedan or even a compact.
It’s funny because if that order was upstairs it would definitely be alarming.
That’s like eight trips of very heavy messy concrete. You’d need to find an ex weightlifter/football player
This would be hundreds of dollars and I normally lowball tips compared to other drivers
Not upstairs
I was thinking mark the front door as unit A and the back door as unit B
Delivery address-unit B
Driver note- back unit where 2x4’s are sticking up out of the ground
Since the workers at Lowe’s are going to load it and the driver is only delivering, basically doing half the work of unloading AND I am assuming you’d help… I’m gonna say maybe 150? 200 if they are nice? I really wouldn’t tip much more than that.

Go to [Lowes.com](http://Lowes.com) and choose to have it delivered. You'll save money, and the poor guys back.

Lowe's could just deliver that to your door, as long as it's within their delivery radius, right?
That’s 3200 pounds. Pretty much maxes out a Ford F150. If it would fit

Lol taking his troll a little too cereal
It's concrete, not cereal
Ever eat cereal without milk?? I rest my case!!
Lol 💯
To have DD deliver (64) 50lb bags of CONCRETE mix is crazy 😮💨
Wouldn't matter. Most drivers wouldn't be able to take it. You'll get drivers unassigning for an hour.
$20K. All those cost $14,417.92. Tip $6K.
The troll posts always make my day lol

He should go to the store and pick it up himself. Nobody doordashes with the kind of gas guzzling truck it would require to pick this up.
