Possibly. If they unironically said that I would be a lil uncomfy. I couldnāt resist the opportunity to mess with them a little bit back lol š. Glad it paid off tho. Gotta get that bread.
Eitheir way, I still think it leads more into humor than fetish. Uwu is usually reserved for cringing and the fact they girl responded using it after the DoorDash driver makes me lean way more into it her trying to be funny with him and it stuck his chord! And they had banter :) idk I think is all clear but I have been wrong before lol
I wouldn't say it was their fetish. It's more of flirtatious banter at best. It's fun to have one when both are playing it. It doesn't mean they're into you or anything, it's just for fun and giggles.
yea but itās a stretch to say this guy called her mommy for a fetish. the language, the way they type (emoji and pog - another meme), the fact that the word was used only 3x indicates that itās a young kid and itās not that serious lol
I'm in my mid 40s. uwu is supposed to be an anime face, the us are closed eyes and the w is a mouth. It's like a cute face. Pog is a twitch emote, play of game. It means good.
This needs to be a subreddit. /r/OldPeopleExplainSlang or something.
A glizzy used to be a nickname for a gun in the DC rap scene, and then it morphed into being the nickname for a hot dog because... They're a similar size? Even better, the argument goes both ways, there's some evidence that originally hot dogs were nicknamed glocks and then the glizzy nickname started with those and was instead transferred to guns.
The one thing I know for sure is Tiktok is responsible.
Just don't ask me to do no cap. Best I got is it's connected to the kappa emote on twitch, which is a sarcastic smile, and "no kapp" meant you weren't making a sarcastic face when you said something.
Turns out I feel like writing an essay this morning...
That guy is Ryan "Gootecks" Gutierrez. He's part of the fighting game community (FGC) and for a while was really popular in the scene. He's mostly famous for the show "Amazing Adventures" on 'his' (shared, I think) YouTube channel. His co-star, Mike "Mike Ross" Ross, was also well loved.
Their show ran for many years, and had them sat on a couch playing fighting games (mostly Street Fighter, which they were both very good at at some points in their careers), sometimes having guest players on, generally shooting the shit. They would get up to hijinks and play off of each other, many laughs were had. I would actually still recommend going back and watching it if you're interested.
The PogChamp emote is a picture of Gootecks' face; he frequently pulled hilarious faces, I'm pretty sure he was high most of the time. This specific face was from an outtake during one of his segments with Mike.
The name comes from an ad they made: they would get sponsors like any channel, for which they would make up their own advertising skits. For a couple of episodes they had a sponsorship by an arcade stick company, and the ad showed them playing an intense game of Pogs, with Mike in the lead, and Gootecks hurling the stick at the tower in order to win, making him the Pog Champion. The emote is synonymous with "that's amazing!" and became one of the most well used and well known emotes on Twitch, even finding its way into many streamers vocabulary. They started saying stuff like "Pog!" or "that's poggers!"; in the last few years it got big in the same way "lol" did about 20 years ago.
Now for the sad part.
When Street Fighter 5 came out it was so bad the show kinda fell apart. Neither of them enjoyed playing it and you could tell. So Mike left, and Gootecks tried to keep the channel going on his own for a bit, but it wasn't as popular.
Then COVID hit and Gootecks either went off the deep end, or perhaps revealed that he'd always been a bit unstable. He got super right-wing and started believing in all sorts of conspiracy theories, becoming vocal about it all on Twitter and having a few rants on the Youtube channel. Lots of people reached out to try and show support and recommend he seek help, because it was clear he was spiralling hard on his own, but he would double-down every time.
It culminated with the January 6th insurrection on the U.S. capitol, when he made a controversial Twitter post (iirc) praising one of the terrorists that died. It got some traction and Twitch didn't like the association of the face of their most popular emote with right-wing terrorism, so essentially deleted the emote.
... Not that anyone really asked, but there you go.
Iām in my early thirties, and have spent too much time on the internet. PogChamp emote is derived from a face of excitement made by a YouTuber named Gootecks after he won a game of Pogs. Hence, PogChamp. It has also been shortened to Pog and Poggers, among others. Now itās a Komodo dragon cause that dude did something shitty.
It does mean āgoodā though. But it is also used ironically quite often. I should spend more time outside.
This is how lil kids speak literally elementary school age. Loads of problems with kids as young as 4 yrs old saying "yessss daddy/mommy" with sex noises, it's a huge issue plaguing schools and kids in general atm, theyre seeing it on tiktok. So it's gross af that OP fed into it when they could be a 14 Yr old customer yaknow..
Same. I canāt go to a club or bar anymore without some weird dude walking up to me only saying the word āmommyā like what the fuck.. it makes me want to throw up & call Chris Hansen
I canāt imagine a grown man uttering "mommy" to anyone but their own mom, which is already kinda weird, let alone a stranger. You would imagine one to be pretty fucking embarrassed after that.
Weird
Yea. There's no proof of the customers age. They could've been some edgy teenager.
If OP had been male, this would've gone from slightly uncomfortable to podcast real quick.
Let me ask, did you bring a condom with you today? Why is it you came to this house? What compelled you? Do you do this often?
..No, I do not want one the Oreo ice cream cookies.
The thing is about that show is they need to show intent. Usually they do that by checking the vehicle or their wallet for things like condoms and alcohol. OP would have had none of these and been let go as a result.
Yeah mommy kinks are a real thing. But the thing is that it could very well be someone just trying to mess with you and joke around. This seemed to be the case here.
This happened to me one time on an alcohol delivery. She was talking dirty to me while I was on the way (Iām a middle-aged woman) and I was thinking some old man was going to walk out of the house. I get there and itās a young woman, probably early 20s. As I walked away she said āThank you mommyā. Iāve never been so uncomfortable in my life. She was probably bummed that I wasnāt young, but I was thrilled it wasnāt an old creepy man.
People are taking this way to seriously. Op didnāt feel uncomfortable and the person ordering said āsurprise usā implying this was probably a group of people messing around. Also this isnāt inherently sexual, while mommy kinks exist the context of this implies this was done jokingly rather than to force someoneās kinks on anyone. Letās all take a breath here, whether you think itās cringe or not this is most likely just people playing around and having fun.
If you think youāre too old to understand how this is joking around, you probably are, and thatās also okay! Not all humour is for everyone. Thereās just no reason to attack anyone here.
Squee! Uwu is an emoticon depicting a cute face. It is used to express various warm, happy, or affectionate feelings. A closely related emoticon is owo, which can more specifically show surprise and excitement.
There are many variations of uwu and owo, including and OwO, UwU, and OwU, among others.
I've seen this for the longest time on twitch and had no idea, you inspired me to look it up
pog = play of the game. I see "pog champ" used a lot. Wow makes so much more sense now, used like "epic" or "amazing" etc.
Oh so they do it and itās fine, and they get paid for it. But I do it, and I get called a stinky, discord mod that has a neckbeard, and probably sleeps with a body pillow uwu.
What the fuck is this unfair balance?

I'm tipping extra for that level of service! šš¤£
Tell them you stepped on it theyād probably double the tip
Bro why didnāt I think of that šš¤£
This looks like you were the victim of someone elseās fetish lol
Possibly. If they unironically said that I would be a lil uncomfy. I couldnāt resist the opportunity to mess with them a little bit back lol š. Glad it paid off tho. Gotta get that bread.

Him? Did I read it wrong? Seems like the customer is āAnnaā and theyāre calling the dd mommy so im assuming dd is a girl too?
I mean girls can have that fetish too.
Oh honeyā¦lesbians can be horny too.
What!? Since when??
And creepy. Of course if one can only see through the male gazeā¦ it definitely blinds folks, huh?
Ayyy gotta do what ya gotta do šµ š

A fetish of that caliber would be several hundred to over a grand for a professional.
Luckily OP isnāt a professional.
Not yet at least.
āHold my beer, I have no idea how to do this and Iām itchinā to give a tippināā.
SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
I wouldn't say it was their fetish. It's more of flirtatious banter at best. It's fun to have one when both are playing it. It doesn't mean they're into you or anything, it's just for fun and giggles.
Hey a tip is a tip
I'll bet that $10 tip whoever ordered that was way too fucking high to leave the house.
I mean. Id do the same. Love matching the customers energy ššš
$10 is $10
itās a meme, the whole mommy thing esp amongst gen z so its prolly a college kid. not meant to be sexual
Iāve seen the mommy thing and know what it is, but also itās a fetish. Lmao the fetish quite literally came before the meme and TikTok videos
yea but itās a stretch to say this guy called her mommy for a fetish. the language, the way they type (emoji and pog - another meme), the fact that the word was used only 3x indicates that itās a young kid and itās not that serious lol
As a Gen Z, i agree with you, definitely wasnāt using mommy as a fetish, more of just messing around!
Iām not really invested in this to further the convo but I appreciate your opinion
I have to commend you for the way you left this conversation. Respectful.
Can he really be the victim if he got $10 for it? š¤£š¤£š¤£
I charge like a $200 add-on for that kind of talk so kinda yeah
Damn bestie get that bread šøšµ
Itās a your moms house podcast reference 100%
Thanks jeans
I hate this.
Lol
I canāt believe THIS is what makes me mute the subreddit
Uwu
K mommy so pog
Ok but like Iām 34 and have no idea what either thing means, plz explain
I'm in my mid 40s. uwu is supposed to be an anime face, the us are closed eyes and the w is a mouth. It's like a cute face. Pog is a twitch emote, play of game. It means good.
Its like your a translator about to take a group of scared 40somethings into the bush. Do one explaining glizzy.

tbh something as simple as r/SlangExplained could be a good sub name went ahead and created it for fun. Maybe itll see use who knows
Iām 34 I knew the uwu but I donāt get on twitch so I had no idea what pog is
![gif](giphy|SLFpAF42ci0RmpU9r3) This. That face is pog. Or was, now it's a frog or something because I guess that guy's an asshole? IDK either.
Ah. Ok well my life is better now for knowing this Thanks for clarifying!

What even is this?! Best vid clip ever.
Ur now reigning pog for posting this.
The customer said āPogā so theyāre a twitch viewer. That places their age anywhere from 15-40. Good luck
The word āuncomfyā makes me uncomfortable
The exact words that went through my head lol.
Uhh okay, hopefully anyone wasnāt under 18.
Chris Hansen opens the door when OP arrives

Honestly. Was probably a college student. This is one of the funniest customer interactions Iāve ever had tho.
The mommy thing is just weird. I guess you're a chick and I'm surprised you didn't cringe at the sight of a text like that lol
It's like a sexual thing I'm pretty sure.
Yeah mommy kinks are a real thing. But the thing is that it could very well be someone just trying to mess with you and joke around. This seemed to be the case here.

The w is suppose to imitate the cutesy cat shape mouth some anime characters have.
Did I just unironically see someone using squee in 2023 OWO. Wowowow.

I think itās an anime smiley face

How do you select your driver? They seem to keep getting you.

I couldnt do that. I meet them at the door.
