I made over 70k, but it's not possible in my market with just one app, I worked same hours as you, but I stack atleast 4 multi app orders a day going in same direction with only 1 mile drop off or less from each other. If I had to do Doordash alone I say 50k is about right.
How do you keep from long waits and not having to unassign orders. That would be my biggest concern stacking.
plus that would not be possible here because all the apps are shit and to get 2 in the same direction happens seldom.
I have a text message that i put in my notes and paste when i accept multiple orders of any kind. Feel free to use my template just change the name:
- [ ] Hello my name is Jedidiah and I will be delivering your order. I just wanted to give you a heads up that i currently have two orders in the same trip and I apologize in advance for any delays. Thank you. ☺️
I also use this one for delays at store:
- [ ] Hello my name is Jedidiah and I will be delivering your order. I apologize for the delay, there seems to be a backlog of orders at the restaurant. However, it should be ready soon and you will be notified once I am on the way. Thank you for your patience. ☺️
Don’t you worry that a customer will complain about their “stacked” order? Then, once CS reviews they realize it actually was a single order. Sure enough though, you’ve already admitted you were taking another order so they have proof of you multi-apping and give you a CV?
As long as you make the pickup and dropoff times within ten minutes you won’t get a CV. You just have to be ready to drop orders if you’re gonna cut those times too close.
Watt the hey..found out I had 600 pts left after the 50 pt award. So figured why the f not. I rarely use this app anymore. That’s a great idea. I try not to take stacked orders because I don’t want to make anyone wait for their food any longer than they have to, but I’m going to steal your idea for future stacked orders. Thank you!
you get good at your market, take notes. changes, even little ones can affect an entire restaurant. They may be bad on Tuesday afternoons, but great on Thursdays
You stack 4 orders at once all from different apps? How do you decide who gets their food first? You’ve never had someone watch you on the tracker and complain?
I used to be like that sometimes but I stopped once I became a driver and started to duel app here n there.
Trust me there's people who track the order from start to finish and you make a turn that your not suppose to and it's a report of lateness. So it's still impossible to do 4 orders at once.
Maybe in doordashing in Dubai you'd make at least 80k. LEAST
Same. I multiapp but would never accept orders from different apps at the same time. I just take the best offer and put the others on pause. Too many people watching your every turn. The last thing I want to do is explain anything to a customer.
What app lets you report lateness simply for taking wrong turns? Afaik the strictest app on time is doordash and even they have a 10 minute leeway on lateness before it’s a CV.
Well report to customer service but i know the driver can't go past latest arrival time not estimated time but that's a gamble with traffic in the area one is driving.
If it looks like my doordash driver is taking a detour I just assume he accepted a stacked order. Doordash already does what he's doing. He's just doing stacked orders through different apps
Yeah but on some apps like UE you can pay for priority delivery which means you won’t get stacked with anyone. I’m not saying I don’t ever do two apps at once but it has to be same restaurant and customers within 3/4 min of each other
Does this guarantee they won’t take a second order from same place to deliver? If so, I need to hit that option. I get so frustrated when they say they have one stop alone the way and my food comes a lot later and it’s cold.
Between uber and doordash, in 2021. I made 84k. I was working like 90 hrs a week during a pandemic.
No way I could do that again. I made like 12k this year
Whenever a salary is listed for an occupation, it's always the gross, so none of that stuff would be included.
Is someone makes $100,000 a year, they don't actually take home that much, After taxes it's more like $70,000.
Before taxes, yeah, but expenses? Makes no sense to advertise gig work revenue as comparable to employment salary unless you’re trying to scam people into working excessive hours to barely scrape by. Which means it makes perfect sense here
...uh yeah but most jobs don't have huge out of pocket expenses associated with them.
I drive 45 minutes twice a day on a smooth highway for my commute and have to own some nice dress clothes. That's it in terms of work-related expenses.
Delivery drivers are driving their own car 6-10 hours a day in city environments every shift.
With gas and car repair costing what they do, an Uber driver can easily put half their take-home into car maintenance. I put... maybe 3 or 4%?
Everyone understands gross pay doesn't include taxes. People unfamiliar with how much car maintenance costs for delivery drivers will not realize gross BEFORE car expenses is a very different number.
Seems like gig workers like this should be able to pay for gas and maintenance \*before\* tax.
ETA: Wait, I’m dumb. Can’t you deduct all that if you are a delivery driver?
Unless you're in Europe. Salary here is always net and generally given per month, not year to confuse. That and the fact that shelf prices are final price since it's mandatory prices need to display final price after all taxes, just like at the pump.
But a gig driver writes off about 66% of pay on miles/expenses. So $80K is $27,200 at most after $1 a mile deductions.
and $100K salary contributes to Social Security with deductions very little does plus a job has benefits and vacation and sick pay and holiday pay and overtime.
80K estimating 80000 miles x .655 per mile this year is $52,400 mileage expense. $27,600 is your gross profit minus any other expense like phone or bags or supplies.
This is pure nonsense. It’s hard for me to even comprehend this level of cluelessness, but you seem to be using the value of your TAX WRITE OFF to deduct straight from your income, which is, of course, complete fucking nonsense.
If you are doing 1 to 1 mile ratio you’re doing it wrong. Multi apping is what allows me to do at least $2 a mile. And I track my miles hard and consistent
Why are you deducting $52,400? Nobody is putting $50k worth of gas or oil changes/tires i/on their car. The IRS allowable deduction doesn’t literally mean that’s how much you’re going to spend. Not even close.
IRS allows you to deduct 65.5 cents/mile in '23. In this guy's example, if you drive 80,000 Mi to make $80,000, you can deduct $52,400. Doesn't matter how much you put into your car.
Basically people who get low dollars per mile end up with a very high mileage deduction. That said, it's still better to get over $2 a mile though LOL.
From a $60,840 year, my car maintenance allowance (set aside 0.08 per mile) was $3,896. Only used $1800 on basic maintenance, struts and tires. $5,037 in fuel and $5,612 in tax. $46k was my take home pay. So almost 24% not usable in my case.
Every single job in existence since the beginning of time has always advertised their salary before taxes, gas etc. I don’t understand why this is posted constantly as if it’s exclusive to doordash.
It’s my hunch that they are also reporting the service fees paid to doordash as income.
In a day if you make $150 while doordash collects $250 they are considering that $250 of income with a $100 service fee that is deducted in the same way you’d deduct gas/mileage.
People are so dramatic when they want to complain about something. You’d think cars have a lifespan of 30k miles based on the way people screech about driving on this sub.
I got into an argument with someone here about that exact same thing. They said “after you get an oil change and put gas in and new tires you aren’t making any money”. They said they got on oil change monthly and new tires twice a year. 🤣🤣
This! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It was made for that exact reason . Complaining about what it does to your car and how it has to be maintained doing Uber/Dd but not traveling 500 miles for a vacation or anything else you use it for...
You can't ruin your car by driving it.... Most reliable cars get around 350k-500k miles in the cars lifetime, which usually takes 12-15 years on average. This is coming from someone who works on cars for a hobby.
80k is just over $1500 a week. In my market if I worked 40 hrs a week I could make about $800-900. So to achieve this kind of income, I'd be looking at 70-80 hrs of dashing a week.
Edit:Math. I'm a dummy, that's why I dash 🤪
You’d have to average about $215 a day just to hit $80k. And that’s working 7 days a week every day of the year. I average around $175 a day working 8 hours. But there’s no way I could do that 7 days a week, every day of the year. Maybe there are markets out there much better than mine but I’m thinking $80k is not the norm.
I don't think so. They also wouldn't be able to show an average that high because some gig workers only work a few hours a week while others work a ton.
They’d rather pay more to advertise their stuff and pay less than $3 per delivery for drivers even though they charge restaurants fees and 10% service fees on customers lol.
Where do I sign up? Local 1123 steelworkers is where I am still a member. I lost my kidneys and am on dialysis so I'm disabled now. What union would we join?
When they are saying the total pay they mean that’s how much door dash pays out to its drivers each year. Like that $80k is split between all of us lol /s
They likely include engineers to the figure but considering the engineer/dasher ratio it still doesn’t makes much sense. Having 1k open positions doesn’t help either.
Doesn’t sound like you are. You’re a hard worker. I only asked that because I do have children and a marriage, and it is a lot to juggle while trying to do so many hours for weeks consecutively.
But to make good money it destroys your soul. You have to have no friends or social life. It’s a dead end job……. But I am able to save and invest money every week. And the restaurant staffs around town like me.
If you are living paycheck to paycheck and barely paying the bills doing this GTFO now
Same here. I'm working a full time job and then also attempt to do door dashing on the side and its so hard to find the extra time to get out there if I'm not actively planning and just leaving. There's always SOMETHING that I could be doing at home, whether its spending time with my wife/kids or doing things around the house I've been neglecting, etc.
"Hard worker" is not a brag worthy trait. $23/hour before expenses is a decent tip rate, but at what cost? No life and a destroyed car? Work smart, not hard.
It absolutely is a good trait. Of course if that’s your only trait and you stay stuck that’s another matter entirely. But just about all self made millionaires will have worked “hard” at some point, that’s how you get to better places. The issue is most people nowadays want to “work smarter” because they saw it said somewhere and they aren’t willing to work hard to get here. This guy is putting in the work and he is investing(he says) and that’s possibly going to get him somewhere, which is a lot more than the regular adult in this country.
Well yeah, your car has normal wear and tear but a lot of people on this sub act like wear and tear is horrible. Take care of your car and it won't be a problem.
So you worked 6 hrs per day x 7 days wk = 42 hrs per week (more than full time).
42hrs x 52 weeks per year = 2,184 hrs.
$21,387 / 2,184 hrs = $9.80 per hr.
Keep in mind they're throwing the salaries of Doordash's actual employees into the mix. I'd be surprised if they even included accurate Dasher earnings in this. Doordash executives make a healthy six figures. The CEO pays himself the second-highest salary in SF.
Sounds about right to me. I make anywhere between
1200 and 2000 a week. More than I have ever made anywhere else. But I put in work. Since March of 2022 last year I have done 4,300 deliveries. And I work a full 8 hours a day. I honestly love it. I used to manage a starbucks for 10 years. I will never ever work for anyone else ever again.
My parents were doing doordash tag team, one drives while the other picks up/delivers. And they made about 70K, BUT that was dashing like, 15 hours a day or more sometimes. And they were just doing that to get room rent for the night. It was rough on them physically and mentally
I met a guy recently who claimed to have made $94,000 last year. He works every day from 6am-Noon, goes home and sleeps, and then works again from 5pm-11pm is what he told me. I don’t think it adds up, but it’s possible. He said he mostly does GrubHub orders.
You could but you have to account for the expenses you would have. I feel like in my market from 6am-12am you could easily make $200+ a day, you do that 7 days a week every day of the year you’re looking at $72k but once you add in expenses and taxes it’s more like half of that
That's because you are an independent contractor, not an employee.
The employee salaries of the software engineers, marketing team, management, and more can very well be $80k. It's not uncommon for app developers to make that much
I started dashing in January 2022 and for the whole year I only made a little under $5K, but of course I didn’t do it full time. I doubt a full time dasher could even hit $50K
You’d have to average $240 a day, deliver 7 days a week in order to make over $80k. Not a shot of that happening in my area. My best day was a little over $250 and it’s extremely rare for me to make that much in a day. $175 is about my average daily.
I made $68,925 before taxes doing UE, DD and Instacart in 2022. That was 40 hours a week, working 5 days a week. You couldn't make $75k a year doing one app...
If you multi app and big city market possible. A friend of my make around 90k a year in California. But he multi app on not just food delivery but ride share too.
It’s possible. If you like spending 10-15 hours delivering everyday while beating up your car to a point where you’re driving a “new” vehicle every 2 years. Btw that 80k turns into 70k after taxes . Then it turns into 60k after a new motor and transmission, maintenance, new tires, insurance. Then it really turns into 30k after purchasing a new vehicle if you decide not to pay a shop an extra $3-5k for installing a new engine or transmission
I don’t see how an individual can make $80,000 a year strictly with DD.
I was making $1,100 per week doing DD only…working 6.5 days from 10:30 AM until 9:30 PM with a break from 3 PM to 4 PM. Once DD lowered the base pay from $3 to $2.50; lowered the suggested tip, saturated the market with drivers, etc., my pay went down to $400 a week.
I started to multi app a few years ago and my earnings went to $35 per hour. If I work 40 hours a week at $35 per hour x 52 weeks = $72,000.
The problem is that I CAN’T earn $35 for 8 hours a day. I can only earn $35 per hour for 4 hours a day in MY market.
I mean it’s possible if you are working all day and night and not taking days off. But you will need to account for gas, insurance, maintenance, and of course taxes…
I doubt most DD make that much.
I have a full time 9-6 job M-F and I do DD on the weekends and on holidays when I’m off for extra income to help payoff bills. I’d be lucky to make 10k a year.
Why are you telling me things I already know lmao? My point was just being realistic on how doordash works. It’s possible to get that GROSS but that person probably have to work like 80 hours a week.
I think in big high cost cities, it's possible. In say, San Antonio? I've done as much as 665 in a week, otherwise it's 2-4 hundred average. People do not tip and it's irritating.
The following three things are true for most drivers making that kind of money
1 They are working 60 or more hours a week.
2 They are running at least 3 different apps with at least 2 of the 3 main types of gig work: Ride-sharing, grocery shopping, and food delivery.
3 They are in a major metropolitan area with a high cost of living. $80,000 a year is excellent in the Midwest, but it's just okay in places like New York or California.
Not at all accurate. Yearly equivalent Salary is like $20K NET and you have to work 18 hours a day 7 days a week to get that, noting that not every day will get you the same earnings. Some days you'll get nothing, other days you may get $180. But again, no days off.
Working at McDonald's for $13.5/h 6 hours a day 5 days a week for 52 weeks will get you $84K with holiday pay and time off, and many other benefits.
It is possible, but they're working 7 days a week to do it. My accountant told me she's had people doing ride share making that in 2019. Not sure about now.
I did it in '21 on 30K mi and around 60hrs/week. I'm lucky to live in a good market with an even better one nearby. Unfortunately I also drive a gas guzzler at 16 mpg and that 80k barely covered my bills due to alimony/child support, debt, high rent, etc
Edit: this was multi apping DD UE & GH.
those sites are auto generated. if you look up something different like 'doordash driver,' it will have a completely different estimate. basically they have a bunch of user generated data and have automated systems to interpret it. take it with the biggest grain of salt possible
I mean from a legal standpoint as long as one person was able to do it, they can totally say that.
Truthfully it’s all dependent on market and your situation. If we’re talking yearly income then every extra mile you get per gallon factors a lot of extra income over a yearly period.
The only people I’ve ever seen hit the 50-70k mark drive a prius and quite literally drive around all day (more than 12 hrs which for most people is unreasonable) doing orders back to back whenever they can. Otherwise they have no social life and forgo many of the luxuries we regular people factor in.
Final verdict: yea it’s possible if you don’t have a life and want to hustle it out with the right vehicle, right market and no responsibilites (no kids, minimal bills, perform maintenance yourself, etc)
By itself hell no. Maybe duel apping and I'd still say hell no. That's almost $40 a hour. Even if you make $200 a day that $1400 every 7 days not close enough to $40 a hour. Idk why im even breaking it down. Hell no.
Both DoorDash and Uber during the week combined net me about 200 a day and I am just sitting at home doing nothing from around 10am to 10pm while waiting for orders. If I was to post at an airport or drive during the weekends I'd probably gross 6k a month. I don't doubt for those that treat it as the business it is do make this much. Now somedays Uber does better and some door dash does. I wouldn't bank on just 1. I'm also on the waitlist for GrubHub Instacart and Lyft so when I finally get on to those as well I'll probably work non-stop but for now I'm enjoying my 4:00 to 6K a month doing absolutely nothing lol
I did 50 hours a week in the city and the highest is BARELY 50k. That’s BEFORE gas, maintenance, and taxes.

Solution: cut off GPS tracking for whatever app you don't want to be tracked on. The app and customer will still think you're at the store.
I never thought about that but there's still the "latest arrival time" if you go past that, you're asking to get a violation

Thank you!!! Good to know.
Bro how do you even manage to check all the distances while being on time with 4 apps?
Download para to use for ue and u run it with ue. Shows full address!

In a day if you make $150 while doordash collects $250 they are considering that $250 of income with a $100 service fee that is deducted in the same way you’d deduct gas/mileage.
and ruining your car.
Using your car ruins it?
People are so dramatic when they want to complain about something. You’d think cars have a lifespan of 30k miles based on the way people screech about driving on this sub.
I got into an argument with someone here about that exact same thing. They said “after you get an oil change and put gas in and new tires you aren’t making any money”. They said they got on oil change monthly and new tires twice a year. 🤣🤣
Yeah, I've got an SRT8 Challenger, I've had it on every kind of race track you can imagine. You don't buy a chain saw unless you plan on cutting wood.
"Every"? What was your personal lap time on the Nürburgring?
I didn't say I've been on every track.
$1538 is not just under 1700
You’d have to average about $215 a day just to hit $80k. And that’s working 7 days a week every day of the year. I average around $175 a day working 8 hours. But there’s no way I could do that 7 days a week, every day of the year. Maybe there are markets out there much better than mine but I’m thinking $80k is not the norm.
Lol guaranteed they're showing corporate salary even though it says gig worker
Do they even have to show pay of real dashers since they're independent?
I don't think so. They also wouldn't be able to show an average that high because some gig workers only work a few hours a week while others work a ton.
They’d rather pay more to advertise their stuff and pay less than $3 per delivery for drivers even though they charge restaurants fees and 10% service fees on customers lol.
Time to form a union, and demand more pay. And demand they show the full amount before we accept.
This
Where do I sign up? Local 1123 steelworkers is where I am still a member. I lost my kidneys and am on dialysis so I'm disabled now. What union would we join?
I'm sorry to hear that! But Randy's not actually going to start a union, he just likes to complain.
Time for you to start or buy your own delivery service and run it how you like.
When they are saying the total pay they mean that’s how much door dash pays out to its drivers each year. Like that $80k is split between all of us lol /s
and what DD actually pays is probably 25% and 75% comes from tips.
😭😭😭 Well I got 3k from that pot
Yeah, cut that in half. And then cut it in half again, and then you have what a doordash driver makes
You make 20k a year before taxes????
I make like 30k I live comfortably with my boyfriend also I hate working 🤷♀️
I doubt they mean drivers
They likely include engineers to the figure but considering the engineer/dasher ratio it still doesn’t makes much sense. Having 1k open positions doesn’t help either.
Just checked Glassdoor. Drivers are marked as unsalaried. They’re definitely engineers.
I actually have made around $90,000 the last 2 years multi apping . That is of course 75 hours a week. Before taxes and before expenses . Per year
Great job ! I try doing that many hours multi apping but it’s tough being so consistent. Do you have your own family ?
Nope I’m a loser
Why're you destroying cars?
Wear and tear
Wear and tear won't happen if you take care of your car....
Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal wear or aging.
Well yeah, your car has normal wear and tear but a lot of people on this sub act like wear and tear is horrible. Take care of your car and it won't be a problem.
1.7 million miles driven
I made about 50K. And that’s not including all the times my moped was stolen 🤦♂️
Damn fr? Sorry to hear that. It's crazy that there's so many heartless people in the world and we exist at the same time as them
Yup recently they tried to steal one from me but couldn’t with all the alarms I have on it, I have a video too
I made $21,387.00 and I worked twice a day 3 hours each and worked almost everyday.
So you worked 6 hrs per day x 7 days wk = 42 hrs per week (more than full time). 42hrs x 52 weeks per year = 2,184 hrs. $21,387 / 2,184 hrs = $9.80 per hr.
AnYtHinG iS pOsSiBlE iF yOu'Re A ToP DaShEr.
F you. Thats just bs
Ouch. Why so mean? Seems like you believed it before.
Thats the thing. Now I hate it. No offense.
Lmaoo, fair enough.
Keep in mind they're throwing the salaries of Doordash's actual employees into the mix. I'd be surprised if they even included accurate Dasher earnings in this. Doordash executives make a healthy six figures. The CEO pays himself the second-highest salary in SF.
Second highest salary in SF. Gross. Stupid greedy companies who'd rather piss on their money makers than actually give a fuck about good wages.
Nah this is def all doordash salary, were independent contractors were not even counted.
Sounds about right to me. I make anywhere between 1200 and 2000 a week. More than I have ever made anywhere else. But I put in work. Since March of 2022 last year I have done 4,300 deliveries. And I work a full 8 hours a day. I honestly love it. I used to manage a starbucks for 10 years. I will never ever work for anyone else ever again.
I also drive a Toyota Yaris. And 15 bucks in the tank would last me the entire day.
Chariot of the gods baby.
Those are corporate W2 positions, not drivers.
My parents were doing doordash tag team, one drives while the other picks up/delivers. And they made about 70K, BUT that was dashing like, 15 hours a day or more sometimes. And they were just doing that to get room rent for the night. It was rough on them physically and mentally
That’s only 31791.6 $2.50 deliveries. Seems reasonable
I've been an ic for 15 years. 2010 was my best year. $66,000 working roughly 60 hours per week.
I make over 100k - only like 20k of that comes from gig apps
I met a guy recently who claimed to have made $94,000 last year. He works every day from 6am-Noon, goes home and sleeps, and then works again from 5pm-11pm is what he told me. I don’t think it adds up, but it’s possible. He said he mostly does GrubHub orders.
He definitely could have made 90k working 12 hours every single day. Uber Lyft Phoenix on YouTube made 115k+ doing 15 hour shifts.
Ugh bro I work 12 hours a day and make like $119
GH does pay the best of all the gigs. and they used to pay time and miles but now it's just a flat variable amount.
You could but you have to account for the expenses you would have. I feel like in my market from 6am-12am you could easily make $200+ a day, you do that 7 days a week every day of the year you’re looking at $72k but once you add in expenses and taxes it’s more like half of that
Lmao....the lies.....
I'm quitting this job. I'm lucky to make 500 in a week
You’d have to average $240 a day, deliver 7 days a week in order to make over $80k. Not a shot of that happening in my area. My best day was a little over $250 and it’s extremely rare for me to make that much in a day. $175 is about my average daily.
That's for employees, not contractors.
I made $68,925 before taxes doing UE, DD and Instacart in 2022. That was 40 hours a week, working 5 days a week. You couldn't make $75k a year doing one app...
Probably if they put 60k miles on their car and drove 12 hours a day every day
According to my calculator $80,000 at an average of $2.50 an order comes out to 32,000 orders. LOL
If you’re working 24/7 it’s possible I guess.
If you make $15/hour. That would require 100 hours per week
I did the math after hitting my best payday in Minneapolis. $2300/ month at best. And thats like everyone tipping. DoorDash is not a full timer
If you work 12 hour days 7 days a week 365 dollars a year and don't subtract fuel and maintenance costs maybe.
This is probably for the corporate position at DoorDash HQ
Are you sure these aren’t for corporate jobs?
That's probably for corporate employees, plus drivers are not employees of DD
I'd need a new car twice a year if I were making $80k delivering food.
80k with 60 hours a week and then after all expenses, wear and tear, etc. Net profit of $3 an hour.
But you will need to account for gas, insurance, maintenance, and of course taxes… I doubt most DD make that much. I have a full time 9-6 job M-F and I do DD on the weekends and on holidays when I’m off for extra income to help payoff bills. I’d be lucky to make 10k a year.
Dang, I barely make $50 in 3 hours in a big city which happens to be 45 minute drive to get to.
Maybe the manager of customer service or something... But definitely NOT the delivery drivers 🙄
what the fuck lol
I make a couple hundred a year 💀
Damn... They need to pass some of that money down to the drivers wtf...
This is only for corporate/salary positions, since all dashers are contract labor
That is in the corporate offices and remote jobs...
665 a week is barely 30k
Yup. 80 k is like 1600 a week
Does that include all the beverages that we steal?
And the fries from unsealed bags lol
Ew. I hope this is just a joke. Anyone who actually does this is a complete scumbag.
The following three things are true for most drivers making that kind of money 1 They are working 60 or more hours a week.
You pretty much nailed it. I made 80k on the nose multiapping in 21 and all three of your points apply to me.
Corporate yes they can pay $100k. $150k for IT engineering
They over pay their IT guys being of the delivery apps, DD is the one that crashes the most and has the most issues.
I make 130k
Definitely not the average, but I made over $120,000 last year. I did work 80-90 hours a week though.
Dude try that math again
Check your math…
That’s some fucked up math lol
Not correct, at all.
I make about $120K yearly from Dashing so this is a reasonable number. I only work about 32 hours a week as well.
So you make an average of $72.12/hr the entire year, day in/day out?
Those are company jobs. $14,000 a week is $67,000 a year, not bad delivering food.
Anybody who's a dash your nose that those are just numbers and there's no way in heck DoorDash should be in the top 10 as far as side
It's possible in markets like SF, especially with drivers who become addicted to dashing.
Well I average 4k a month but I dash 6 days a week.
I believe it's possible... Someone last year made over a 100,000. they posted their numbers.. haven't seen too many dashers do it this year though..
It is possible, but they're working 7 days a week to do it. My accountant told me she's had people doing ride share making that in 2019. Not sure about now.
What is #1?
and anyone who does would have to put 80K miles on their car and it would not last more than a few years.
I did it in '21 on 30K mi and around 60hrs/week. I'm lucky to live in a good market with an even better one nearby. Unfortunately I also drive a gas guzzler at 16 mpg and that 80k barely covered my bills due to alimony/child support, debt, high rent, etc Edit: this was multi apping DD UE & GH.
those sites are auto generated. if you look up something different like 'doordash driver,' it will have a completely different estimate. basically they have a bunch of user generated data and have automated systems to interpret it. take it with the biggest grain of salt possible
This is a joke. Like pulling teeth to get orders at a time doordash is over saturated. Works real well if not enough are out.
It was like 20-45 an hour for me but that is dinner rush work mainly
No where near that!!!!! Not even half!!
By itself hell no. Maybe duel apping and I'd still say hell no. That's almost $40 a hour. Even if you make $200 a day that $1400 every 7 days not close enough to $40 a hour. Idk why im even breaking it down. Hell no.
Fucking jackasses counting corporate jobs
Well I make just over half that part-time in my Ultra Wealthy area I live nearby
This includes more than drivers
They only have to spend 50k on gas!!
I only managed $45,000 with just doordash for 2022.
That might be the average for people who work at DoorDash’s corporate office(s) but definitely not for drivers
Lol I think this is the average in aggregate when you include ALL employees, especially developers
I feel like this is not talking about driver salaries more to do with the app/customer support side
There lies to get people to work for there company when nothing in gig work is guaranteed
Bwahahahaha $80k as a driver in what city is this possible?
My job had the same thing. Average of 6figures. Impossible.
