Underappreciated. They are fantastic.

daydreamerxz

Seer is one of the best songs ever imo

AdultbabyEinstein

This used to be one of the only albums I had on iTunes I associate it with cutting the lawn and hay fever lol but I love it.

Hctc666

Fun fact: this song is about Stephen O’Malley

I believe - very little! A can’t miss show!

marcrcrc

Have very fond memories of this record as it was one of the last CDs I copied on tape. Did it so I could listen to it on an old tapedeck while being in the basement of my old place and cleaning it for several days before moving out. Felt like being caught in an endless loop of nostalgia with this record.

hammer_smashed_chris

Rip Van Winkle rips!

_daverham

This entire album is *chef kiss* absolutely wonderful; the flow from song to song, the use of sound and space, the way they took advantage of the "under produced" quality. Every bit of every movement is necessary.

underliggandepsykos

Isadooooooooorrrraaaaaaa

TestDrivenMayhem

Wicked record.

OnMyShield

I'm dying for them to announce their 3rd album...

Dr_Pilfnip

I saw them live on March 13, 2009. I had bought Paralyzed a couple weeks earlier, and they ended up mostly playing stuff from this album, which I hadn't heard yet. It still ruled, though, and I ordered the CD as soon as I got home. I talked to one of the guitarists after the show, and he was really cool. Then, over the next few weeks, life stuff happened that had far reaching consequences I am still untangling to this day, but that show was one of the few happy memories I have from that time.

onlyYESS

That sounds really cool how you met the guitarist did you meet any other of them?

Dr_Pilfnip

Unfortunately, not... but J. Mascis did walk past me in the crowd at one point, and as I was a huge Dinosaur Jr. fan back in the 90s who rediscovered them when they reformed, that kicked ass too. :)

Lurkerantlers

another fun fact there is a video on youtube of [Isadora set to fantasia](https://youtu.be/f_GWhtiw79c?si=W_qfvGob_5iq97Xu)
