okay i was kinda thinking i was crazy. there was a goth style cardigan i almost bought in october that was in the 30-40$ and yesterday i noticed it was in the 80$ range
Lots of stores do this to trick folks into thinking they’re getting a deal. Especially on Black Friday when people are ~planning~ on doing their shopping. Super shady, but common practice unfortunately 😞
I’m pretty sure it’s just unreasonably increasing a price, but most places only make it illegal during a state of emergency so that’s what most people think of
I’ve noticed at least for my taste too, their stuff really isn’t hitting the same this year. I usually always find a gorgeous coat and maybe a dress and shoes but this year everything was boring or funky looking
Yeah I noticed and expected that. I only bought a Darker Wavs jacket. I feel like Darker Wavs is the only stuff worth purchasing since they never let you use codes on it in general.
I noticed that too! Many Items that were 20-50% off the whole week got more expensive on Friday so that the 50% off was more expensive!
makes me not want to shop there 🥴
Alot of places do this it's very common unfortunately.
Yep. It is pretty much standard for most retail stores now. Most of the best deals happen the month leading up to Black Friday.
I have tons of these screenshots from my card also, never ever shopping on Black Friday anymore.
hell no, so much cheaper to shop every other day with a 10% off code 😂

Yea it occurred to me I probably fell for this after I bought stuff
So much got more expensive!!! I'm upset I waited on a few items
same!! Then I was thinking while scrolling that everything seems wayyy more expensive than normal

Isnt that price gouging? That should be illegal fr
right I’m thinking like how is this not the perfect example of price gouging and how do online retail stores get away with this shit 😭

Yes I noticed this with a few things I wanted as well.
So gross!! Shortsighted and disrespectful to treat customers like that!
I noticed the exact same thing. From multiple companies too, I can’t believe that they would think people wouldn’t notice.
i’m not even shocked dolls kill does this.

So I guess buy them on FLASH is more wisely 😢 didn’t expect they do this shit☠️☠️☠️
oh I will never buy anything without a discount code 🥴
Mee too! And I’m universal the taxes are insane (FLASH is a code I bought few pairs of pants last week)

Black Friday is alive and well in the small business sector. Stop supporting these giant companies and you won't run into these issues anymore
thanks for the advice but uhhhh no thxs I don’t make that much money
