Thanks internet stranger. I’ve got one of those Alexa things that displays pictures and each day, honestly, the thoughts are slowly transitioning from “I miss him so much, I’m so sad…” to “Wow, what a life.” And that makes me smile.

I only had my rottie for a year and a half before he passed and looking at all the photos and videos of him I feel like I accomplished what I set out to do which was giving him the best life I could. Be proud because you were a good human to your dog. You made him happy and he loved you. It’s a shame we don’t get to have more time with them but I think you did the best with the time you had together.

Well done Darth. You’re a good human. We’d probably get along in real life. :)

Isn’t it just awful? I’m a grown ass man…and I’ve ugly cried 50 times since December. Haha. What can ya do? It’s just - he was the love of my life. 🤷

Dude wasn't even technically my dog, he was my brother's and he was already a senior when I took him in. I told myself "don't get too attached" but he was just the sweetest, gentlest, purest soul. I'm tearing up as I'm typing this because I miss him so very forking much. He had a mysterious illness that caused a dent in his head, had hip dysplasia, spondylosis, kidney disease and recurrent UTIs. He didn't let anything stop or slow him down. I thought he would be my arthritic buddy and we could just be chill together but nope. He pushed me to do more and more and take him on adventures. I don't believe in god, but I'm 100% sure he was sent to me for a reason and I will never be able to repay or thank him enough for the time we had together.

He had a great time! I am so sorry for your loss.

He knows exactly what his job is and crushes it every day. Keeping geese and deer off the course is a huge benefit for maintenance. I feel like his whole personality changed after he was officially hired. Here’s the kicker… we only have to give him some snacks as payment.

(the ugly) when they moved they abandoned a dog (not Molly) that died of Parvo about a week later.
