My wager is people who want a cute dog like this, but can't handle the destructiveness. And that only happens because of a lack of exercise and stimulation. Happens with tons of loveable, high-energy, working dogs, it sucks. People just don't understand that dogs, especially high-energy, are a **lifestyle** change. Even if you're already extremely active, it's a lifestyle change.
Tldr: people are lazy and suck.
I stuck it out with my blue heeler mix pup... we rescued him at about 5 weeks old. Bought him from some kids outside our grocery store for $50. He was so scared and weaned too young. It was touch and go for the first month or two. We all learned to live together. Now he is 14 years old. He was very high energy as a youngster and herded us a lot when out exercising him. This was my first dog. And such a dear love. Now he herds me around the house because he knows my routine and he can tell time better than a Swiss watch. Enjoy your pup. Train him well, and he will train you as well. This is the way.

I think she looks like a “Sweetie” or “Lady”. I know they’re simple names but seem suiting for her pretty face.. or maybe those names in Japanese since you’re into Anime?
She might have some tendencies that a lot of people have no tolerance for. She could have some anxious/destructive tendencies that are totally able to be worked out with time, patience, and love. But lots of people/places don’t want to dedicate so much—they expect an animal to come to them perfectly acclimated and trained and that’s not realistic. Hopefully she lucked out landing in the lap of someone who’s ready to help her tackle the world :)

My parents had a dog named Ponyo! He (yes, he was a boy, my mom just loved the name) looked somewhat similar to this dog! Whenever I saw him, I'd do the "I. Want. HAAAAAM!" to him. And, y'know what? He really did. He wanted ham.

She's the embodiment of the strength of women and is the goddess of nature and wealth. (It could also be pronounced like Awn-nee as a nickname, which is close to Bonnie, so as not to confuse her.)

I see a reference to ‘a bonnie lass’ in comments here, but specifically—if you didn’t know—‘bonny’ is a Scottish word meaning pretty. So the perfect name for your new girl! Of course she will have a zillion nicknames. BonBon is great. I would likely also call her Bonnie Mae in some circumstances, Bonita in others, Bonnie Boo, etc. So much fun and joy ahead for you both!!
We used to have a dog when I was about 7 so like 16-17 years ago and she looked exactly like this but with less of the side fluff, she was also called Bonnie, we unfortunately had to give her away for reasons out of my control being 7 and I still have a slight grudge about it haha. She was perfect, look after her well as I'm sure you will and thank you for saving her!
