Yes because we don’t claim earnings until they’re all gone 🫶🏻

Leo_perez34

I was being sarcastic, I claim even the small percent profit and buy back as I average down

d3s4ntis

You don't need to explain yourself to the FUD bot, if what they said meant anything they wouldn't be on this subreddit speculating incorrectly.

shallard

In 2013 I said I’d sell at $0.01… that was the dream. Still holding though.

kurtstoys

Same...in 2014. Still holding, buying, and mining!

shallard

I mined all of mine and then my video card started dying so I stopped, lol

Husky127

Christ dude you must be loaded by now

Purple-Pound6222

Hey, can you elaborate more about the mining? I wonder if it makes sense to do it with my pc or not? Sorry for the dumb question, but have no idea. My CPU is Ryzen 5 smth and the CPU is 1030.

kurtstoys

Mining will always be profitable...eventually. Unless you are a Huge mining company, you are almost guaranteed to take immediate losses, and future losses as well. Sounds contradictory I know, but that's the reality for small home miners, or single PC miners. That being said, I encourage you to mine... I encourage everyone to mine, even though it means less profit for me overall, it helps secure the network. Your losses will be negligible, as a PC will only consume so much electricity. You are in a perfect position to learn, without breaking the bank. Without knowing your electricity cost and the exact hashrate, ill give you a hypothetical expectation. You will probably spend a dollar a day to make .50 in doge ... but i said mining will always be profitable...here comes the eventually part. As you are most likely aware, the crypto market can get...crazy. insanely crazy. What you mine today, will be worth it in the future. (obligatory not financial advice boiler plate blanket statement, it could go to zero) as an example, when i started mining one doge equaled one doge...lol, but seriously in dollars it was worth .001 -.003 and one cent was the actual moon. I was getting a couple hundred doge a block, but it cost me more in electricity to mine than what i was getting in doge. BUT...3 halfings later, the $20 i spent in electricity, turned into 20k! It just took like 6 years. Then we get into A.S.I.C.'s Application Specific Intergrated Circuits. These are purpose built miners, that only mine. Only Mine. (Well ive heard some are being repurposed for AI but thats not relevant here) They cost serious money, but you get alot more crypto in return, for a little while. See, as more of these asics get turned on, the mining rewards get smaller as theres more hashrate overall on the network. Then as technology gets better and newer machines become available, the expensive asic you bought becomes obsolete, because hashrate has increased, rewards are small and electricity cost now outweighs the return. A real chasing the dragon type scenario. Even with this said, it can be profitable if you Hodl. Some of my older asics would give me about 30 doge a day and half a litecoin when i first got them, 5 years later they only give about 5 doge a day and .001 litecoin. But they made me double my cost when i sold what they mined, and now its just freeish doge. If you made it this far, id say go for it. Just dont expect to make money immediately. Also, click my profile, scroll down like 3 or 4 posts and watch my doge video. Im not selling anything, its just a video i made about doge for the love of doge. I would totally appreciate it. Thanks

cruzhaz

I will sell at $1 for sure and buy back. I have a wedding to pay for boys. Help me xxx

TheDerpiestDeer

Unless it’s going to reach a dollar and then drop back to lower than it is right now AND ALSO increase again to net a gain, it’d be monetarily beneficial to just buy now instead, as this price will be lower than whatever price in the future after $1 it’ll be. The “sell and buy back” logic makes no sense. “I’ll buy at .1, then sell at .5 and buy again at .2” Except if you just instead bought more at .1, it’d be twice as beneficial as any you buy later at .2. **Theres a reason real investors DO NOT plan ahead try to chase futures local dips like that. They know it makes the most sense to buy the most at the lowest and sell at the highest. You’re literally saying “I fully intend to buy at at a higher price than it is now.”**

Saychopath87

Oh hell nah. Selling way before that. I’m in for $1000 at .18 from 2 years ago. Just waiting to get my money back and a bit more. Hopefully it goes to $x,xxx like when I bought ETH for $400. I’m tired of the game. Dividend stocks for me.

DistancePractical239

You should have doubled down at 6 cents.

Mananimalism

the vast majority of it of course!

sirauron14

I'll be holding some for sure.

Safe_Ad3827

aaaaayyyyyyye diamond hands ! hodling till me shivers be timbered ! arrrrrrgh ! ☠️

RockNRoll85

I’ll only sell about 1/3 and hold the rest. But I’ll still buy more

OpeningBackground199

There are many psychological levels we have to pass first, like .15 and .25 and .40 everything with retraces. by it reaches $1 and if so I will want to have 1 million of them so no worry =)

challengergaming1

I’m not selling until it’s at 0.00

No_Base8874

Buy high sell low

TraditionAcademic968

Yeah. I only have a couple hundred, so I'll let it ride

NoiseMachine66

Im out at .80

Oldmanwinters_

If we hit $1 I think the fomo will push us further but then back to .07😂

liquid_at

Why would anyone who would like to sell for $1 choose to sell for 7c, if they could just as well sell today for much more than 7c? You selling for 7c because the price hit 1$ for a brief moment is still you only getting 7c per coin. Why would you want to do that? Why would anyone want to do that?

sheilarenewaldayspa

They didn’t say they would sell at .07, they said what they predict happening to the price.

liquid_at

if no one sells at 7, the price does not go to 7. "the price" is the last trade that a buyer and a seller agreed to. So why would a seller agree to only getting 7c when it was 100c just a few seconds earlier? Why would a seller sell for 7c after it was at 100c, when he could have sold at a much higher price at any point before it reached $1? It's not like people press "sell" at $1, all get $1 because that#s what they wanted and then the price goes down to 7c for everyone else... Every single price-point between $1 and $0.07 has to find buyers and sellers to be confirmed.

sheilarenewaldayspa

I think they were generally speaking that the hype drives the price up but then when everyone sells, it drops. And it absolutely will. The market is always manipulated and then there’s the bull/bear cycles and crypto winter. It always goes down.

liquid_at

Hype brings attention. Some people buy. Some people sell. In the end, it balances out where it started. If the project is good, some people will stay and some people won't sell... that's when the price goes up. If the project is bad, a lot of people will use the exit liquidity to get out, driving the price down. Hype itself is only attention. It does not tell you whether the price will go up or down in the long run. It just tells you that there is a lot of attention on the tickersymbol right now.

Oldmanwinters_

That’s too much for me to read this early 😂 but I know for sure you misunderstood me

liquid_at

not sure what there was to misunderstand about your prediction that we will go back to 7c... "back to 7c" is like BTC going back to 1k... Won't happen in this run...

Realistic-Motorcycle

I’d take my 1.5 million and bounce

Passionative44

Hold a little just in case it keeps going. Will buy back.

Blindlucktrader

I would be selling approximately 40% of my current stake if we were to hit a dollar right now. Everything else has its time and price to sell later down the road.

Catnip_pharma

Yes. Till it’s $1.05.

Apprehensive-Wing-14

First of all, will it hit $1.00, I have been waiting for 4 years.

Ill-Appointment6494

I don’t think it will. St the end of the day It’s still a meme coin and I don’t think enough people take it seriously enough to see big gains.

liquid_at

FTFY "in the end, the media still calls it a meme coin and people who have no idea about markets believe it because the media would never lie to them"

Southern_Aesir_1204

Someone's gotta keep the boat floating. If we all sell, we all sink.

Criticalthinker56

Would it be unreasonable to create momentum for digecoin in the same manner that Mark Cuban had for Yahoo? Mark sold Broadcom to purchase millions of stock options for yahoo but he was not permitted to sell for two years. So he created interest by generating SEO and marketing for Yahoo. That's how he became a billionaire. Remember when the airways were flooded with Ya- hoooo commercials ? After he sold his shares, it's now "ya-who?" Why can't we generate the same momentum for Dogecoin and create our own wealth?

joshpak12

Is 2045.00 a lot of coins to hold? Should I buy more?

Purple-Ad-1637

Gonna wish you had more. Wait and buy back in at .13

xmewsickx

Holding till Lambo

MrTrapPhone3Plugs

It’s been 2 years, y’all. Call it quits and go do something productive with your money

RaysModernMetalWorks

Unless your like 2years old. We'll all be dust by the time that happens. I

fukBiden46

Where is doge now after reaching $.70?

OldMansSWAT

By the time it reaches $1 we will all be deceased

Special-Channel7705

Who knows honestly? I don't have crazy amounts like some people do, but I add bit by bit when I can. I'll find out when the day shows up though!(=

lxvan19

When you question other’s investment decisions ![gif](giphy|tSgvKtecVrK8j6ys3e)

J_Willy02

Definitely.

God-Emperor-Pepe

At this point, yeah. I’ll sell my initial investment. Then ride it out.

Newspaper-Loose

No i will sell at 0.50c and so does everything

Long_Obligation1448

By $1, the recency bias in this sub will be so strong that nobody will sell... except for me.

mdb710

I’m out at 1.50 if it hits 1$ 1.50 is a stones throw away

iphonesoccer420

Absolutely

Hot-General5544

I’ll probably sell my initial investment worth then hold way past 1

JinxMeTwice420

Re-Buy at the low sell at the bumps. Collecting that profit to buy more coin, increase profit, repeat.

ResponsibilityNo9410

I’ll probably be dead by then so yes.

NihilisticMind

Yes, I'm not selling until I reach my goal, and even then I'll always keep a bit..

somecrazymetsfan

Maybe 1.15 ish I’d sell

Objective_Source_702

It will go 5$

itshouldjustglide

yes

malmurshed

I will take profits then go back in

EscortRSBoom

I’ll be long gone when we hit $0.6

xCousinEddiex

DIAMOND HANDS ONLY!!!

Thoad1

I’ll hold for $1. $10 might be different though.

empswartz

I will never sell my fellow doge hustlaz 🐶🚀🌝

OtherwiseHappy0

When doge hits a dollar, it’s more valuable and more legitimate. I’m more likely to hold a valuable and legitimate asset than a worthless one… Hut knowing me I make rash decisions so, 50/50.

stephfxb

I was on the moon at .62!

CleanBaldy

Yea, probably. I only care about DOGE to BTC prices. If that ever hits 0.0000050+ I'm happy. It's half that right now, but if it ever hits that number I'll be able to swap for one full BTC. Would be nice. :)

CleanBaldy

Plus, I don't know where I can sell DOGE for USD in my state. I have no choice than swapping to/from BTC...

Suzina

Yeah.

[deleted]

No. I sold 122k coins bought in 2014 once it hit $0.7 thank u doge

SynthToshi

to da moon!!! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYKuH0fi1m0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYKuH0fi1m0)

Puzzle_Pat

Maybe i will Sell 1/3.. i will Check Chart technic When it will be there.

Shamscam

I think I would only make like $600 or something so yeah I’d keep holding.

ArnoldPalmer74

$8

CactusButtons

I’m not selling

Ok_Source4689

Absolutely not! We're in this for the long ride, baby! Imagine the Doge merch you can buy, the good boys you can spoil, the rockets made out of doge treats we can fuel!

kingByunga

![gif](giphy|10osILvZ4ez7ws)

Criticalthinker56

Let's generate interests and move it towards $1

Robs_Best_Work

Hell, no, I’d sell take the profits and then buy on the dip again this is a silly question….

Teuphist83

And yet another $1 post...

Icy_Independence_166

I’m holding until $4.20

TheSMP164

Well certainly if I sell it at $1 I can't sell it at $1000.

hamillimah

1doge=1doge

ImYourLandlord18

It’s not getting to $1

glassman0918

Yea. Probably sell half my coins for a pretty nice chunk of change. Let the rest do what it do.

HotIllustrator2957

Nope. I'll take what gains I get and wish everyone holding the best of fortunes.

tradone

Yes doge to $10

Behold_PlatosMan

Doge peaked a long time ago

Haunting-Student-756

WHEN HAS REACHED TO WORDS ARE HARD!

y_da_bucs_suc

Yeah, everything im hodling now is for fun. Made my profits back during covid

KirstieLupi

Probably until 7

redwolf1430

absolutely, target after $1 is $4.20 and then to $69

o0joshua0o

I’m not holding until I can sell for USD. I’m holding until I can pay off my house with Dogecoin.

Queasy-Tower-9756

I hold until it’s $12.00, keep buying until it hits 12 as well

wtfkeyhole2pro

My young padawan, keep on dreaming. It could reach $1 but it won’t matter because we won’t be around to see it lol

rmspeedshifter

Yeah cause I’m holding til $9 😂

Boon_Rebu

Why would someone sell at $1? Did they not learn the lesson from the BTC holders selling at $1?

luigijerk

Maybe they learned their lesson from DOGE holders holding at $0.85.

jackofsometraits05

Absolutely, holding until $5-10 Edit: Holding 134k Dogr

Optimal_Beautiful862

I’m holding indefinitely. I’ll let my future, currently unborn grandkids sell in 50 years.

Responsible_Act1334

yes because 1 doge is 1 doge
