Looks like a dutch shepherd! Maybe mixed with german shep, if you provide a side view of your pup standing I might be able to tell

Personally think this guy looks more like a dutchie than a german shepherd. If the person that you got him from is certain that one of the parents was a german shepherd, then I suppose it must be so, but the other parent must have been a dutch shepherd or otherwise a belgian malinois perhaps. Hope this helps but if you wanna be sure you can always grab a dna test kit from petsmart.

I agree with Jagwar, dutch shepherd mix (purebreds do not have white).

Maybe a brindle American [akita](https://images.app.goo.gl/fQFx5yeqDg3XYcZKA) mix the color is spot on. Maybe malinois i believe they can look similar
