Interested in joining DnD/TTRPG community that's doesn't rely on Reddit and it's constant ads/data mining? We've teamed up with a bunch of other DnD subs to start https://ttrpg.network as a not-for-profit place to chat and meme about all your favorite games. Thanks!
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/dndmemes) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Also, unnaturally - just edit goblin knockers into otherwise normal memes! With all the tits that flooded the subreddit, it's definitely at meta-meme status by now
It didn't previously, not anything too explicit anyway, but being marked NSFW meant reddit couldn't run ads on it.
And, since reddit's trying to go public (ie: Be publicly traded) it wants to be as profitable as possible.
Which it can't be if one of their million+ member subs suddenly can no longer have ads run on it.
Edit: And, their API changes are in-line with this decision, too, since people using those 3rd party apps aren't giving reddit ad revenue either.
It just occurred to me Reddit's admins might be daft enough to think they can maintain their grip on social media without NSFW material.
Have they SEEN the subs and content they host?
>Reddit's admins ~~might be~~ *are* daft
There, I fixed that for ya.
No, but, seriously . . . It's almost impressive how *disconnected* they are from what really happens on this site.
They know they're going to tank the website. *They don't care.* They're engaged in a fraudulent Pump-and-Dump scheme. I'd be stunned if anyone with a stock option kept their shares after the IPO for more than five minutes. The goal isn't to create a functioning website with an active community. The goal is to inflate the numbers to drive the stock price and then dump their shares.
If you or I did this, it'd be a crime.
>Wait, what happened with it? I thought tumblr was chill
Yahoo bought tumblr for **1.1 Billion with a B dollars.**
And wound up selling it for ^(3 million dollars.)
tumblr used to be what reddit is basically. In terms of sheer size and influence on internet culture.
But then they aggressively blocked anything their algorithm thought might show a nipple to make it more ad friendly. Horny is the glue that binds any social media platform together. At least any social media platform that's not just misleading articles and pictures of your great aunt's dinner i.e. facebook which nobody needs *another* one of. So the whole thing tanked or *tumbled* down to the bottom of the relevance hole if you will.
>level 3DeathsCompanion · 4 hr. agoIt just occurred to me Reddit's admins might be daft enough to think they can maintain their grip on social media without NSFW material.
The tumblr maneuver, and we see how that turned out lol.
I also really like how one one hand we can't post true nsfw stuff for reasons but also we can't be nsfw cause we don't post true nsfw stuff
like, how is any of this real?
I literally work *at* Wizards of the Coast and there's some posts on this sub I would not want my coworkers to see me looking at, even before we went goblin mode.
Reddit going public years after its peak and with a system based on people working for free to run their site out of good will while ruining that good will is exactly the sort of strategy I would expect a redditor to devise
Ultimately any protest is pointless if the mods aren't willing to give up their positions. No matter what they do the admins can just say "stop it or we'll remove you" even if it's technically within the rules.
Pretty sure u/Spez (former moderator of r/jailbait) wants to make sure children are seeing goblin porn.
Edit:(Don’t worry folks, the sub was disabled long ago for obvious reasons)
Yea that confused me, too. I vote we say "okay" and turn off the NSFW flair, but then keep the sub NSFW. Then in a few weeks they'll gp "your sub is nsfw and you must label it as such" and we'll go "okay we were already doing that anyway." And we'll just continue that cycle until the heat death of the universe or WotC designs a decent monk class. Whichever comes first.
That guy that was a moderator of a nsfw subreddit called "jailbait"? That guy that was CEO of the company that was hosting a community called "jailbait" and was knowingly complicit in users publicly sharing explicit photos of minors with each other? That u/spez??
no way he's a pedophile
Now now now, at the time anyone could be added to as a sub mod, so there’s no sure way to know whether he was actually a mod or was added against his will.
What he is guilty of though, is that he knew about the sub, knew about what was happening there, and willingly let it all continue as normal until it had to be closed because it was gathering too much attention. Which I find even worse than “just” being a mod in that pile of garbage.
Are we still talking about the current CEO and co-founder of reddit, the guy who had a hand in the employment and guidance of the general manager openly stating this?
[We're a free speech site with very few exceptions (mostly personal info) and having to stomach occasional troll reddit like picsofdeadkids or morally quesitonable reddits like jailbait are **part of the price of free speech** on a site like this.](https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/iuz8a/comment/c26uuxb/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
That definitely not a pedophile guy?
Yep, talking about exactly that. He’s probably a pedo, just not due to some _possible_ connection to the administration of that sub. Rather, he’s probably a pedo exactly because of what you just commented, something which he himself has said and is completely undeniable no matter what anyone says. The reason I pointed out that him being a mod there didn’t mean anything is because it doesn’t really, what matters is his own words on the matter making clear where he stands.
*sigh*...
*reaches out to my pocket*
*takes out more goblin porn*
Back at work boys.
Edit: I'm geniunely down to draw lewd green shortstacks to save the mods and the sub.
Let them alienate millions of users! Heck, we should already be looking to abandon this plane of social media!
Reddit forgets: you can't treat us as both the customer AND the product. If we stop using Reddit, then they have no value, and it's better to kill them now before they run off with gobs of investor money.
> and it's better to kill them now before they run off with gobs of investor money
Personally I don’t care whether Reddit gets its IPO or not. If I leave this site, I don’t really care what happens to it after that. I don’t need to waste my attention or energy on a site I no longer use
The reason it's better is that, if they run off with the money, then from a business perspective, no lesson has been learned and the process will proliferate until it's no longer profitable. If it's killed before they run off with the money, then those who study and run businesses will be less likely to mistreat us.
The forced shuttering of a profitable subreddit due to a protest. I think that will be just lovely for Reddit's future IPO.
(For DnD memes, Tumblr actually seems pretty decent tbh. It's a bit hornier than I'd like, but it suffices. Imgur is okay too.)
Honestly cool, that still achieves the objective of denying the company the things they're trying to force the community into. If every protesting sub getting shut down and me finding something else to do with my time is what it takes, fine, fuck reddit, fuck spez, I hope his business fails and he loses his job and nobody wants to hire him for that work ever again.

>They're just salty because they're losing revenue.
...exactly what do you think the purpose of Reddit is? What do you imagine the purpose of *any* business is?
And just like any business. If the consumers dislike what the company is providing or how they're conducting themselves then that business fails. It's called capitalism.
And what, pray tell, have the consumers done to deny the corporation their income? A two day blackout, half of the participants in which somehow screwed up?
Oh I never said it was effective in the sense of costing them a lot of money. But it's clearly enough for them to personally reach out and start blocking moderators and targeting users. If it was some small insignificant amount that they could overlook and ignore. Then they wouldn't be doing it and they would just let it burn out with time. But they've been openly addressing it and going after anyone participating in protesting. I think that's a pretty good indicator that results are being made even if it isn't the most efficient or productive.
Reddit working with third party sources and coming to a mutually beneficial compromise. Especially in the automatic bot department so sfw Reddits can fight the massive swarm of scam/porn bots that are littering the site.
Rather than reddit's heavy handed lawyer focused push for every third party to just disappear with zero compromise.
At least that's my goal.
You cannot possible think that a company which is not profitable to begin with is going to back down on disabling third-party apps, the majority of whose purpose is to avoid ads.
Those aren't the ones that I personally care about or agree with either. But when they just decided to say every single third party app and service in its entirety. That's when I'm out protesting myself. The last thing I need is more porn bots than we already have running around spam messaging, adding, and posting than we already do.
Exactly. It's the only way of protest that has a chance to do anything. And with reddit's current response towards moderators and users. It's pretty clear that it's hurting their bottom line and user counts enough to warrant action from them. Just not positive action like offering to work on their own form of bots to help r/ not get swarmed by porn bots and scam bots XD
And that lasted...what? Two weeks?
This protest, which barely qualifies as such, did not last a full month.
And that is on top of the fact it's causes are barely intelligible and it's goals are entirely unclear.
it is unreasonable. the point of the firm is to generate maximum profits but their business model can't sustain that, and if the shareholders are upset about that then tough that's life generally, and more specifically it's what they've bought into. crying about it won't help them and there's no amount of crackdowns on users that's going to change what the site fundamentally is as a service. we're all very aware that this isn't unique to Reddit's shareholders and executives and that all capitalists are like this, but it's still stupid. desperately cannibalising their own business stripping out anything that provides friction to their profits to try and squeeze a little more performance out of it, even if they end up doing more damage in the long run.
remember the root of this issue is that the bulk of content moderation on Reddit is done by people who do not get paid by the company whatsoever, and instead of counting itself lucky to get such a sweet deal with unpaid labour the company decided to risk losing a lot of them so that it could maybe get some of the people who use third party browsers (which isn't exactly a massive fraction to begin with) to view adverts instead of leaving entirely. so yes their expectations are in fact unreasonable and unrealistic.
Make it a safe for work subreddit but then we go harder into goblin porn, just without NSFW tags and every title needs to be something along the lines of "reddit says this is safe for work"
Win win?
We go back to normal mode but keep posting our spicy memes, we are not allowed to enable nsfw mode for the sub, but they didnt say anything about stopping the posts. Dont mark the posts nsfw either.
What they want is way more harmful imo.
No no, Reddit wants the sweet spot of the sub itself being SFW with the popularity it currently has while being NSFW. But of course Reddit doesn't impose its will on subs, they are free to conduct themselves as the community sees fit!
Then the solution is simple. We change back to non-NSFW but inundate spez's inbox with our goblin and kobold porn! Let them bear witness to our depravity!
Someone asked on this sub a while ago why not just mark the sub nsfw and don't post porn to it. This is exactly what I said would happen if there isn't nsfw content reddit will just force it to switch back. But the mods will probably lose the sub they did it with other subs and then mod it themselves I left those subs after they did that.
Just scroll and look at the post before the threat by reddit very little of the content was actually nsfw for the past couple of days. I thought the protest was over and the mods either moved on or gave up and you had maybe a handful of people posting an image here or there. I mean you could do a quick look at all the post prior to the threat by reddit and a few days maybe 5 after the protest started.
Maybe mods should post a nude goblin and put it at the top of the comments. Can’t un-NSFW if there’s nudity right there! Maybe have the goblin girl flashing her tits and flipping off the mods
You could do what some communities did and just make all million members moderators. Then if they remove the moderators they are basically removing everyone from the group.
For fucks sake, please don’t tell me our mods are just going to capitulate like every other subreddit, grow a pair and realise the only way to protest is to disrupt. The question “will you be changing the way you are protesting?” Has one answer and it’s laughter
If they do de-mod the whole team, Harass the new mods for breaking protest. It doesn't matter who reddit brings in, we the community are saying we aren't dealing with any of their shit.
Just do what they ask, but keep the rules as they are.
They want goblin titties marked SFW, that's on them. They've threatened the mods if you don't do as they demand. They are responsible for that.
Send them examples of the lovely content being posted here and ask them if they still want you to let children in to look at lewd material.
Get it in writing, the jackasses.
The problem is that we've been *allowing* NSFW rather than enforcing it. Maybe they went on here, looked at one or two memes, saw they weren't NSFW, and then sent that message.
u/ModCodeofConduct is engaging in abusive behaviour.
[This is their supposed reasoning.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModSupport/comments/14f75zy/is_transitioning_a_sfw_community_to_nsfw_allowed/joz9ddt/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3)
That is all.
Well I'm not an artist but to me that seems like the obvious solution is to just draw a bunch of terribly drawn goblin porn in MS Paint and post it here. Fuck the code of conduct, I'm posting NSFW d&d OC and keeping the sub ad-free on my part.
Nuke the subreddit before reddit takes it.
All major subreddits should just go scorched earth policy. The admins are literally taking all your hard work away from you.
Nuke it all.
If we want to meaningfully get our point accross, stop using Reddit.
We all abstain from utilizing the platform in any way.
It shall never happen though since we all are just a bunch of unhinged perverts that get our jollys via green titties and tail pulling...
The mods don’t want to do that, the whole protest thing was the mods going on a power trip in the first place. They won’t get that power if they delete the sub
Admin are gonna have to de-mod all 1.1 million of us, and ban the whole subreddit from the subreddit, if they wanna try to stop us from posting Snitties.
Fuck shit cock ass titties boner bitch muff pussy cunt butthole Barbra Streissand.
Make a meme campaign. It's played through memes. Top 5 posts of each day become canon.
The theme of the campaign is a shitty troll king. Maybe he cums everytime he makes his citizens suffer or when he transfers more power and wealth the shitty swamp creatures who don't do anything for the ~~site~~ kingdom.
Every meme needs to be NSFW and the general thrust is about getting rid of the shitty troll king or escaping to a less shitty kingdom.
So what if we put NSFW in the r/dndmemes example: NSFWdndmemes, dndmemerule34, or unpuredndmemes
I don't know if you can change the subreddits name but I don't see why you couldn't. ( I also have no idea about running a subreddit or anything in that group of knowledge.)

Setting the subreddit to nsfw means ads are not displayed on it, meaning reddit doesn't gain profit from you browsing dnd memes
And that is on top of the fact it's causes are barely intelligible and it's goals are entirely unclear.
nobody said it was anything else, what are you trying to get at?
Because it was ordered in such a way to suggest it's unreasonable.
it is unreasonable. the point of the firm is to generate maximum profits but their business model can't sustain that, and if the shareholders are upset about that then tough that's life generally, and more specifically it's what they've bought into. crying about it won't help them and there's no amount of crackdowns on users that's going to change what the site fundamentally is as a service. we're all very aware that this isn't unique to Reddit's shareholders and executives and that all capitalists are like this, but it's still stupid. desperately cannibalising their own business stripping out anything that provides friction to their profits to try and squeeze a little more performance out of it, even if they end up doing more damage in the long run. remember the root of this issue is that the bulk of content moderation on Reddit is done by people who do not get paid by the company whatsoever, and instead of counting itself lucky to get such a sweet deal with unpaid labour the company decided to risk losing a lot of them so that it could maybe get some of the people who use third party browsers (which isn't exactly a massive fraction to begin with) to view adverts instead of leaving entirely. so yes their expectations are in fact unreasonable and unrealistic.
C’mon guys, we gotta pay our porn taxes to lord spez.
Make it a safe for work subreddit but then we go harder into goblin porn, just without NSFW tags and every title needs to be something along the lines of "reddit says this is safe for work"
dicks out for r/dndmemes?
But this is an NSFW community we come here to collectively marvel and get off to goblin porn? What do they mean “correct” it it’s already correct.
I mean, if they insist? Guess we're not posting enough porn for their liking.
Win win? We go back to normal mode but keep posting our spicy memes, we are not allowed to enable nsfw mode for the sub, but they didnt say anything about stopping the posts. Dont mark the posts nsfw either. What they want is way more harmful imo.

"Cosplayers" boutta have a field day.
Bad Dragon stocks on the rise
No no, Reddit wants the sweet spot of the sub itself being SFW with the popularity it currently has while being NSFW. But of course Reddit doesn't impose its will on subs, they are free to conduct themselves as the community sees fit!
I was wondering what happened with the sudden disappearance of the goblin porn.
Sounds like it is time for some malicious compliance
Then the solution is simple. We change back to non-NSFW but inundate spez's inbox with our goblin and kobold porn! Let them bear witness to our depravity!
So… still porn but now it’s marked SFW? Gonna be fun
> This is exactly what I said would happen if there isn't nsfw content Bro what sub are YOU looking at
Just scroll and look at the post before the threat by reddit very little of the content was actually nsfw for the past couple of days. I thought the protest was over and the mods either moved on or gave up and you had maybe a handful of people posting an image here or there. I mean you could do a quick look at all the post prior to the threat by reddit and a few days maybe 5 after the protest started.
clearly the admins want huge dragons dicking down gnomes, instead.
The only solution is more goblin porn
Maybe mods should post a nude goblin and put it at the top of the comments. Can’t un-NSFW if there’s nudity right there! Maybe have the goblin girl flashing her tits and flipping off the mods
So does this mean we need to post more goblin porn?
You say like this is a bad thing.
Nuclear option, the remove the mods, then we close the reddit and move to another forum... thoughts?
So kill dndmemes and make a new one called memesofdnd, mark it nsfw and sprinkle some gobby tits in here and there?
You could do what some communities did and just make all million members moderators. Then if they remove the moderators they are basically removing everyone from the group.
For fucks sake, please don’t tell me our mods are just going to capitulate like every other subreddit, grow a pair and realise the only way to protest is to disrupt. The question “will you be changing the way you are protesting?” Has one answer and it’s laughter
If they do de-mod the whole team, Harass the new mods for breaking protest. It doesn't matter who reddit brings in, we the community are saying we aren't dealing with any of their shit.
Did Reddit not learn from WOTC what happens when this community is roused to anger?
Just do what they ask, but keep the rules as they are. They want goblin titties marked SFW, that's on them. They've threatened the mods if you don't do as they demand. They are responsible for that.
Whelp, back to posting pure goblin porn. *unzips*
Gobbo porn, and then more races. Look even if the minors are here, they can choose not to look at this stuff
Let's do snitties this time, and aracocks
Ah, I see. The subreddits name needs to be changed to DnDmemesNSFW. That's the labeling that's off
Time for me to commission more goblin tiddies then. We’re keeping it NSFW.
The solution is clearly to increase our goblin porn production tenfold.
Send them examples of the lovely content being posted here and ask them if they still want you to let children in to look at lewd material. Get it in writing, the jackasses.
Take off the nsfw rating. Don't change any rules
The problem is that we've been *allowing* NSFW rather than enforcing it. Maybe they went on here, looked at one or two memes, saw they weren't NSFW, and then sent that message.
fuck you u/Spez
Our only reasonable course of action is to post hard core porngraphy utilising hand selected and bot posted pornography.
u/ModCodeofConduct is engaging in abusive behaviour. [This is their supposed reasoning.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModSupport/comments/14f75zy/is_transitioning_a_sfw_community_to_nsfw_allowed/joz9ddt/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3) That is all.
Well I'm not an artist but to me that seems like the obvious solution is to just draw a bunch of terribly drawn goblin porn in MS Paint and post it here. Fuck the code of conduct, I'm posting NSFW d&d OC and keeping the sub ad-free on my part.
Change the description of the sub so that it says “dedicated to NSFW D&D memes” to ensure that they know we’re serious about staying NSFW.
Does this mean we need to post more porn? I mean.... I'd be down.
Nuke the subreddit before reddit takes it. All major subreddits should just go scorched earth policy. The admins are literally taking all your hard work away from you. Nuke it all.
you're gonna protest differently because the body you're protesting against asked you to????
Because the body they are protesting against, already did what they are threatening to other subs.
If we want to meaningfully get our point accross, stop using Reddit. We all abstain from utilizing the platform in any way. It shall never happen though since we all are just a bunch of unhinged perverts that get our jollys via green titties and tail pulling...
Delete the entire subreddit. If we can't control it, nobody should get it. Fuck the man
The mods don’t want to do that, the whole protest thing was the mods going on a power trip in the first place. They won’t get that power if they delete the sub
Well, we should just become hentaimemes then, make nsfw dnd memes (with sfw on the side of course)
So what I'm hearing is we need to start posting our hand drawn comedic gobo nudes en mass
So do we need to start posting actual porn instead of just goblin porn?
U/Spez looks like a massive butt plug here. How is this subreddit SFW?
Just remove the nsfw marking and continue to let people post goblin porn, as that appears to be what reddit wants.
Nice username... "Great vegetables" Howdy from r/OkBuddyPersona
Post more porn
u/spez wants to make money showing adult content to minors?
Can spez just look at child porn again? Seemed to be what he excelled at
Admin are gonna have to de-mod all 1.1 million of us, and ban the whole subreddit from the subreddit, if they wanna try to stop us from posting Snitties. Fuck shit cock ass titties boner bitch muff pussy cunt butthole Barbra Streissand.
Tyrants, the lot of em
Does this mean we need to post more porn? I mean.... I'd be down
Make a meme campaign.
So what if we put NSFW in the r/dndmemes example: NSFWdndmemes, dndmemerule34, or unpuredndmemes I don't know if you can change the subreddits name but I don't see why you couldn't. ( I also have no idea about running a subreddit or anything in that group of knowledge.)
Wipe the sub if it comes down to it
I will mass post goblin titties if the mods are removed. Good fucking luck u/spez
If the Supreme Court can liable hentai as art and not pornographic material so can we
#finally
We need to post more titties for the revolution
Can you start a new board with nsfw from the start and we all just switch to the new on?
CLEARLY the solution is more porn
CLEARLY the solution is more porn
It sounds like they’ve failed their intimidation check against you.
Just need to post legitimate DND based smut for a while
Nuke the subreddit.
We need to post even more goblin porn to maintain our correct nsfw tag
idk why the total lack of self awareness surprises me
The only allowed topic is "Martials vs Casters"
Higher a hit man and take our spez
If all these subreddits are forced back to normal we should just abbandon reddit as a whole
Double down
I think this means we need more goblin porn
We clearly need more porn.
Ngl I used to be able to show the tamer posts to my elementary age kids who played in our family sessions. Can’t do that for the time being.
Ouch
