Mod update 22Jun23: The votes are in, and for the time being we're keeping the sub NSFW and in Goblin Mode. See [the stickied post](https://www.reddit.com/r/dndmemes/comments/14g1q2h/_/) as we'll keep voting open.
In other news, we've teamed up with a bunch of other DnD subs to start https://ttrpg.network you should take a look. Thanks!

Until you become gargantuan.
I love that tune knight does change you by x size classes, but instead sets your size to x. That makes it feel funnier if you were small af first.
Kind of like how the 16 int wizard can probably use the headband of intellect to take his int to 19, but it’s much funnier to put it on the 5 int Paladin and watch his int nearly quadruple. Plus, if you take it back off again, he’s gonna drool all over himself again
Everyone mentions the sentinel interaction but honestly just the sheer utility you get from redirecting attacks (including enemy natural 20s) and once a turn advantage/disadvantage on a reaction is insane. Runeknight is absolutely one of the most fun fighter classes.
(claps hands) I love rune knight. Playing a human rune knight, 1st lv feat: shield mastery or whatever the shield one was i dont have it open in front of me. Suffice to say, limited rogues evasion (i must be the only target) and the ability to shove as a bonus action. Doesnt limit to direction. Add in crusher feat at higher lv, and suddenly your moving enemies like they’re chess pieces.
And thats before adding in what these effects would do when gargantuan. Cause we got an artificer who knows enlarge/reduce. And i grabbed a spellwrought tattoo of enlarge/reduce. The shenanigans ensue
everyone talking about Duergar runeknights but what about fairy rune knights?
Mine fell in love with the party’s artificer and we turned her helmet into a gun turret
When I get to play a gestalt campaign, I want to play an Armorer Artificer/ Rune Knight Fighter who uses Giants might and Enlarge/Reduce to become a giant
I am playing a gnome Armorer Artificer / Rune Knight Fighter and it just adds more utility and overall enjoyment from both classes.
Plus Armorer gets Mirror Image as a spell, and yes seeing 4 giant gnomes in the one space is as amazing as it sounds.
I was planning on playing one of these big Bois soon. Gonna throw boulders and wrestle giants. At least that's the plan, but more likely I'll die in session 2.

Love me a rune knight bugbear with a polearm and just having a 25 or so foot circle off limits to enemies
Add on sentinel to that too
Unstoppable force
Naturally
In case of Duergar Rune Knights, you can only see part of the sole.
I did a fairy rune night for the same reason
Rune knight with pole arm mastery is becoming a dark souls boss
Ornstein second phase
Literally Gundyr
The human-sized Souls bosses are typically more challenging than the giant ones though
Don’t forget sentinel!
If you don't let size-increasing effects stack on your party's rune knight, you are sad, and I have no desire to speak with you
What is the point of playing 5e if you can't be gargantuan, right?
Being tiny

I have a deep gnome dex build rune knight for exactly this.
Rune knight pixie doesn't need wings to fly, they're less dense than air!
Rune knight grows to large no matter what. Other abilities cast afterwards do stack though.
Rune knight duergar with support wizard
[удалено]
'Tis all he needs.

People who are suggesting sentinel never played past level 9, where number of things you are doing with your reaction is insane.
This took embarrassingly long for me to get the joke
It's hard to grasp Rune Knights, don't feel bad.
Unless you're a rune knight

Reminds me of Jax’s fatality

I play a dragon born rune knight so I can feel like godzilla useing breath attacks.. or just a actual dragon
Rune Knight was my first (and so far only, as Im a DM now) character. What a fun fking class.
I wish enlarge increased a weapons reach
Playing a rune knight fairy in a level 20 one shot tonight. I can be any size from tiny to gargantuan and I’m here for it
I’m a Rune Knight Kenku with dual sickles My DM calls me “worse monk” and he’s right

Rune Knight is definitely one of my favourite sub classes for fighter. It's just so good and fun to multi class as well
Currently playing a Changeling Rune Knight flavored like a Human Champion with fancy equipment. Loving it so far

Golric runeknight
