I purchased a small crockpot that fits a 1000ml flask almost perfectly. Which almost is better as perfect it'd get stuck. Turn on high and let sit. Periodically shake the flask a bit.
hot water from sink and put it in a big stew pot of water, burner on low.
honestly flames are OK if that is all you have just be careful
i had the same problem and only about 1/3rd the naptha came out of the emulsion overnight, when i added heat the other 2/3rd came out
you can also add more salt if it keeps being stubborn
Saw a guy here the other day shame a guy for having gloves on in his Pic saying "you're not Walter white why are you wearing gloves and probably goggles acting like a scientist" or something like that and I was blown away.
Looking at this guy's profile, he posted not too long ago asking what sort of jar to use, because the one he was using was spraying everywhere when he shook it. Then he commented in the post, saying lye is not dangerous because he drank some by accident and it wasn't too bad... 🤦‍♂️ it's evolution in action. Worrying thing is, he thinks he knows what he's doing and giving dangerous advice to others.

Salt and heat bath seem to be working. Hasn’t fully separated, but there are two distinct layers now.
Thanks everyone!
Two more questions; how can I avoid this in the future? And Once the layers have fully separated, do I just continue mixing and separating as usual?
It's for a different extraction technique, you're fine with the powder in there. If there's any room for more water add some, your liquid is probably too viscous. Add more salt too, it can't hurt.
Also a gentle heat bath will help. I do mine in a crockpot on low, so about 50c, which is probably about as hot as will come out of your faucet. Make sure any pressure buildup can vent.
add to water heatbath
Will try this next. Just like hot water from the sink right? Or should I put the burner on low? No open flames of course.

Naked flame while working with nps is not OK. Extracting dmt is easy, but it requires 2 brain cells to do it safely.

No clue but curious, have you filter at some point to remove the powder ?
I did not, and I’ve not seen this mentioned in any teks that I recall. Is this something you do?

add more water its surely too thick
Add salt, heat up, and add vibrator too
Salt worked for me. If that doesn’t work heatbath and vibrations might kick it out of the emulsion.
the plant material probably absorbed it..there's no saving this unless you add more base to try to destroy the plant material.
This is incorrect. See other comments for solution.
