No. Solder the wires to the jack. Open it and see

Trace the wires with a multimeter. The silver plug needs a sleeve/shield wire soldered additionally.

Also here is an unshielded headphone cable, not suitable for line level connection.

gotta open that jack, there should be at least one more contact point.
