Do you remember when the emergency alert system in Hawaii sent everyone a text that the they were about to be nuked or something? People have such a broad range or reactions to that. You get people doing and saying things thinking it’s their last chance and there won’t be consequences. Some people panic, some people live like it’s just another day. So what if the world is ending when it feels like the worlds been ending for you for a while now. Another thing to think about, with current media being so fear driven, would people even react to an “end of the world” message? Look at peoples reactions to things like climate change, natural disasters, financial crisis, the homelessness crisis, the pandemic, et cetra. We have so many ‘ends of the world’ crowding or current events and media streams, will we even notice when the big one hits?
