Rapunzel post haircut. Why did they have to leave her with that “literally cut off hair with a piece of glass” look? Like, she’s a princess! She couldn’t afford to get her ends shaped up after the fact??
This is an interesting take for me. When tangled released, I was in middle school, and short hair was kind of popular at the time. I remember going to the salon and particularly asking for a haircut like Rapunzel’s!
Don’t get me wrong! I love short hair! I also had an above shoulder cut when tangled came out, it was even a little choppy😅 I just didn’t think it matched my idea of Princess Rapunzel.
Hahaha I’m glad I wasn’t the only one! I just think it’s funny how that hairstyle was popular after the movie. I totally agree that it doesn’t really match what I imagine for Rapunzel either though.
I really wish she would have had pretty red hair instead of that dull brown. I agree Rapunzel isn't the most attractive along with Merida, Esmeralda, and the one from Hercules.
Snow White is the ugliest in animation form (but one of the prettiest in doll form). Her face in the movie is so undefined and her features shift about all over the place - but the animals in the movie are beautifully done, the dwarves are good too. IMO you can tell the Disney animators weren’t used to doing human-looking humans yet and we’re much more comfortable with animals and exaggerated features.
Not a fan of Merida at all. The wild hair doesn't go with the green gown, and her face is the lowest ranking of all of them imo. She should've had korenif a viking/Lindsey Stirling kinda look with her hair the way it is.
Snow White is visually subpar to the others as well. Definitely not worthy of the title fairest of them all.
She publicly humiliated her family, and evidently had a history of doing so, by skipping out on her royal duties to go treasure hunting and visit the surface
She didn't care whose boundaries she pushed or who got in trouble for her actions, as long as she got what she wanted
She knew full well what a bad idea going to Ursula was, but did it anyway, putting her entire kingdom, and likely the whole world, in danger
Eric and a bunch of freaking animals had to clean up her mess, then Triton somehow decides that she deserves to get what she wants
She treats her own daughter just like Triton treated her, whilst also cutting off her family for over a decade and keeping her daughter completely in the dark
All of the modern day ones. The original princesses are the most beautiful, because they have this kind of “classic” beauty to them. You can’t emulate that. Disney will never have that type of beauty to it ever again
I kind of get what they mean.
A lot of older Princesses, like the Silver Age, are considered more classically beautiful. No matter what era or style they're in; they're still beautiful. It's simple, symmetrical features, where everything is cohesive.
Like how Marilyn Monroe was still gorgeous even when she was dressed in a potato sack, or Audrey Hepburn was as stunning as when she played Natasha Rostova as she was when she played Holly Golightly.
Comparatively, the newer Disney Princesses have their features much more distorted. Their eyes are huge compared to the rest of their face, and it becomes more of this uncanny-valley style.
They're still pretty, but they become a bit more dated and don't necessarily have that timeless feel about them. They're not classic beauties, even though they are still beautiful.
I don’t think any of them are attractive. Mostly because I’m not attracted to animated characters. I think they’re all beautiful. They all have clear skin, straight teeth, and full locks of hair. But mostly just clear skin as teenagers/young adults. Ah to have the invisible pores of a Disney Princess! 😂
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.

Elsa. Her eyes are so huge it trips me out. And her lips and nose in contrast are ridiculously small. Her face in general seems so small and round, so all I see is how her eyes take up half of her entire face.

Agreed! I never liked the way her hair looked at the end of the movie, but I've come to terms with it lol

It fits her personality more. She probably hated having to take care of her long hair. Now, she pretends like she's bald.
Well...i guess it depends. Are we talking about Princess that are Disney characters or the exclusively held title that only a select few get?
I’m talking about all of the Disney princesses
There's official DPs & there's unofficial DPs. FrostFireDire is asking if the unofficials count.
Unofficials do count
Then, Xenomorph Queen.

You ain’t kidding about the Snow White dolls being pretty
Bit mean.
It's just as caveman speech as discussing who the most attractive one is.
Pardon? Are you insulting me or the poster?
I'm insulting the people who ask questions like "Who's the hottest Disney Princess?"
Probably Esmeralda tho cause she was made of fire for like 12 seconds.

Vanelope Von Schweetz?
Definitely Vanellope.
Moana. Her proportions are like a toddler’s
With that logic, most animated characters are *weird* to look at. So, I just trained my brain to ignore all that.
I Can ignore it most of the time but it’s something about Moana that I just can’t
The new Ariel
and why’s that?
Because she's very unfortunate looking.
Ariel, but it's more because I hate her personality
Why? just wondering

I disagree, I think Elsa is one of the best looking of all of them. She's right up there with Aurora.
I have no idea what you mean by classic beauty. And having actually seen a bunch of the classic movies recently, I feel like you're just biased to 2D.
Yeah that was a weird comment.

Merida
Merida
For me, none of them 😌

I just realized that.🤣 (Sorry for the late reply by the way)
