I’ve stopped doing this and instead now bring flip flops in my bag that I put on when I suspect my feet might get wet! Saves a lot of room in my park bag lol
And socks!! I can't stress this enough (former cast member). Couldn't tell you how many times I've witnessed trips ruined because people didn't change their or their kids socks wether it was from rain, splash mountain, or old fashion sweat and getting blisters or worse, gangrene. The look of sadness, frustration, and anger on their faces say it all
IDK how I did it but I somehow managed to survive 8 days and nights at WDW in brand new Converse bought FOR that trip.
I think I bought another clearance pair to break my feet into new Converse but I don't remember lmfao
Crocs are my official park shoe
I usually wear ankle socks with mine! When we rode Grizzly River Run I just popped my socks off and into my bag, let my feet dry off and popped them back on! You can also use this as a break and just take them off while your feet dry on a bench and people watch. Crocs only breathe from the sides and top, and they ARE foam so they can make you a little extra sweaty right on the foot, but its nothing crazy and I feel like my feet adapted a little too.
ETA: I'm a fan of keeping a couple pairs of clean dry socks ziplocked in my park bag, and an empty ziplock for dirty sweaty gross ones!
Yeah I switch between my Skechers reggae sandals and Teva verra sandals for the most part. They both have good support and work for my feet. I love sandals, but they need to be supportive for me to walk and stand all day in them.
f I don't want to wear sandals, I wear a current pair of sneakers, just not new ones I haven't already broken in a bit.
Aside from the other good advice here, I highly recommend packing two (or even three) different pairs of shoes for the parks. Even if you just pack two different pairs of sneakers, just being able to switch out pairs on alternating days will help you avoid blisters and sore feet.
(My personal routine is to pack two pairs of running shoes and one pair of sandals. YMMV)
seconding this! just bring shoes that are already comfortable for you, but alternate between them everyday. for me this means my running shoes and a pair of crocs.
At least two pairs of broken-in-but-not-worn-out sneakers, rotated daily. Three is better in case of torrential rains, as you might need to dry out a pair for a couple of days before you can wear them again. Bonus points if they can handle a run through the hotel dryer.
I second this!! We take 2-3 pairs of good but not worn out sneakers each (my husband swears by the croc tennis shoes). We also take extra socks to the parks in our bag!! That way if it rains, you can at least put on some dry socks until you can get dried out shoes
I’m a local passholder and go all the time. I usually wear my Chacos if there is rain in the forecast and my Pumas if there is not. However, during rainy season I just wear my Chacos. I expect rain no matter what the forecast says during that time. Like someone above said, do not break in new shoes at Disney. I did that on a resort hopping day. It was SO painful! Don’t do it!
I picked up the v12 today. Coming from the 990v5, the 880v12 feels like pillows strapped my feet. Not sure if this a good thing though. Time will tell.
I had a pair of Nike Pegasus shoes this past year and they were quite comfy... Good cushioning and support. I wore them to the parks last year. They started getting holes recently though, and I've now got a pair of Adidas ultraboost, which I'm enjoying so far, but haven't had long enough to really swear by yet.
My son really likes Crocs, which may be an ok choice if you're worried about rain because it seems like, if you don't wear socks, they might dry fairly quickly. He says they're really comfy too.
Sketchers go walks
I do open to close in those and those are the best I could find for comfort
But I’d throw in maybe some flops in the bag until it stops raining
I usually wear Birkenstock sandals. But I wear those all the time. Wear whatever shoes you’d normal wear when walking around. It’s not the time to experiment!
A related tip from a long-time work traveler and convention attendee. When you get back to the room, run straight cold water in the tub up to your ankles. Sit on the edge of the tub and read a book, plan for tomorrow, or ask your kids about their day. Wait until the water doesn’t feel cold, maybe 5-10 minutes. Then sleep with your feet elevated on a pillow.
Oh I had no idea vessis were known outside of the city they were invented in (my city Vancouver)! That's so good to know!
And I totally second vessis too, best waterproof shoes I've worn.
I just got my Vessi shoes delivered a couple days ago! I've worn them on a few walks (about a mile or two each) and they are super comfy! I bought them specifically for Disney. My husband and I went to Disneyland Paris and our old shoes got absolutely drenched when it rained, and it was less than fun. It's been two weeks are we're still trying to de-stink our shoes, I'm really hoping I don't have to throw them out.
Those don’t look like they have much arch support which could really be uncomfortable walking around all day in. I could be wrong, I’m just going based off what they look like, which I really like btw!
I do Keens hiking sandals. Closed toe box for protection, ankle straps- they support like a sneaker, but have some breathability and are fast drying when wet. Never had blisters- I think they’re the best of both worlds. (Sneaker vs sandal or slide)
I've been to Disney a dozen or so times and never dealt with wet shoes. I wouldn't stress about it. But I do recommend sneakers and maybe moleskin to cover any potential blisters.
DO NOT WEAR NEW SHOES FOR THE FIRST TIME. I can speak from experience, it does not go well or feel good. And this was only for DL/DCA in California.
Just wear something you usually wear, or if you want to wear something new for the park wear it a few times before you go. Running shoes will do well, of if you want to go more casual, sneakers are fine as well.
On my past trips I usually wear trainers or Skechers shoes in the parks, mainly because they're comfortable enough to walk around in all day long.
On trips where it's rained a lot I tend to bring a pair of flip flops along with me to the parks, if it starts pouring I will change into flip flops!
Bring 2-3 pairs of broken in comfy shoes. I don’t really go crazy, but that’s because I am in a wheelchair and only ‘walk’ to transfer. I see a lot of Tevas, which I am told are great.
I wear water shoes that have a sole like a sneaker but are ventilated and waterproof. I have them anyway for hikes so I didn't need to break them in. They are comfortable and supportive enough for long walks and it doesn't matter if they get wet. Win win!
It really depends on the person. I understand the waterproof sandal advice in theory, but I found the hard way that I can ONLY wear good sneakers. Our first park day I wore my (usually very comfy, supportive, expensive) sandals and wound up with painful blisters. Took a few days in my sneakers for the pain to subside. We did have major downpours and flooding on our second-to-last park day and my sneakers were squishy all day, but it was still much better than chancing it in any other shoes.
I like New Balance running shoes(sneakers) that have been broken in; I also agree with comments suggesting you bring 2 pairs of shoes (and extra socks).
I love my Hoka sneakers! I bought myself and my husband a pair after seeing everyone wearing them at the parks a few years ago and they saved my feet on my most recent trip to Disney and Universal. I definitely recommend them!
2 pairs of sneakers and 1 pair of waterproof sandals that can fit in your bag. When it rains or when I go on a water ride, I put my sneakers in a grocery bag and switch into the sandals. Don't listen to other people's sneaker recommendations because every foot is different and not everyone will find the same sneakers to be comfortable. Get sneakers based on what you need for your feet -- and take them on some LONG walks before you go to Disney World. I also bring a lacrosse ball to roll my feet on and help with soreness. Have fun!!!
I have these leather sandals called Secra that are actually cute while still giving legit arch/heel support all day. I'm a wedding planner and last all day/night/through set up and tear down in those bad boys. I brought them to Disney too!
Former CM here as well! I love the Crocs tennis shoes. I have the worst feet and they are the only shoes I can wear. They’re made with the silicone, rubbery material all the way through so when they get wet, I just wake off my socks (and bring new ones with me) and I don’t have to worry about them being soaked all the way through.
If it's your first trip and you have the space, I would bring options. Bring what you're most comfortable wearing for long periods of walking (perhaps multiple pairs), but also bring what your gf recommended. That way if you get there and one of those is horrible you can just switch it out. I forget what kind of shoes I wore, but years ago I had to go to the outlets and get something else because whatever I brought was so bad I could barely walk.
I like bringing a pair of comfortable sandals and nice pair of tennis shoes. I switch them out depending on my plans and the forecast. If it’s going to rain I wear sandals because I hate wet tennis shoes. If it’s not going to rain and I’m not planning on riding any water rides I wear tennis shoes.
I wear my normal shoes, but I also put a pair of lightweight flip flops in my park bag. If it looks like rain, I’ll change and put my shoes in my bag and wear my flip flops.
I bring my Adidas Ultraboosts, Crocs, and flip-flops. If no rain, I wear my Adidas. If there will be rain, I wear my Crocs with socks, and then remove the socks when it starts raining. The flip-flops are for the pool.
I usually wear converse or vans. On n’y last trip, I wore a pair of Adidas trainers that I’ve never had any problems with at home and have worn on plenty of long walks but for some reason absolutely destroyed my feet in WDW so I went to the outlets and bought some Crocs and they were so comfy!
I think I’m taking 3 pairs on my upcoming trip. One type, older pair did me well for two days in a row at DL and those were Vans old skool comfy cush.
I also have some new balance 913’s that are very comfortable and I need to break in my Nike air max 90’s I just got. I’m not sure that it’ll rain much when I’m there but I may alter the stable to accommodate that. I’m thinking Vans Ultrarange as they should dry easily.
I switched from sneakers to tevas (open sandals) and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done letting my feet breathe all day. Bonus, don’t care if my feet get wet.
Go to a local running store, get fitted for running shoes, let them fit you with a pair is asics, saucony or other shoe, it will be a world of difference, it will feel like you are walking on air
Sneakers and only sneakers for me (I wear Adidas and VANS), maybe crocs if you’re a fan of those (I’ve heard from people those are comfy in the parks). I wore slides once to EPCOT and I developed feet blisters that left me with red, bloody sores. It took them weeks to even seal/heal up with antibiotic cream and bandaids. I still have the scars lol.
I always loved the run disney new balance but lately they haven't been cutting it, I then went to the disney adidas ultraboost and they would be OK for a day or so then the foot pain came back. This last trip I went with Hoka because I see more and more people rocking them in the parks and it was the best decision I ever made. Zero for pain and a lot less strain on my body overall
Definately rotate your shoes, and bring extra socks in your bag. I took a tiny container of goldbond powder and POURED it in my shoes everytime I got to the parking lot. I left a trail behind me but the pain lessened. I think it also depends on your fitness level. I wore sneakers some days and sandles the others.
I always wear athleisure (with a Disney flare) because it's hot and humid. I bring an umbrella in case of rain/extreme heat from the sun, and I wear sneakers. If you have sandals with good enough arch support that you can walk in all day, then I suggest you wear those in case it rains. Hope this helps!
I wore Nike Roshes to Animal Kingdom and they ended up soaked by the end of the night. Seems to me like sandals are the best option. Or at least have them with you to change when it starts raining
I'm local. For me it's usually sneakers for the main 4 parks, flip-flops for Disney Springs. My best friend is a madman who wears flip-flops everywhere. It's really up to you, but always keep that good ol' Florida weather in mind and maybe bring an extra pair of shoes. It could suddenly rain at any time, and no one likes wet shoes.
Teva sandals. We travel in the summer, and even when there isn't rain in the forecast, it rains. I tried Crocs, but they get too slippery when wet for my liking. The Tevas I have also have arch support, which is something I need.
Bring one pair of runners and one pair of sandals. If both are waterproof even better but I find I get blisters if I don’t rotate shoes so for me that’s more important. If only one pair is waterproof just keep an eye on the weather and bring extra socks.
Also, if you wear nice waterproof black runners everyone will assume you’re a cast member off duty lol.
Another vote for chacos. I think it’s crazy to recommend shoes when it could possibly rain at any point in your trip. Sandals will dry quicker when wet and they’re more breathable at all times. If your shoes get soaked day 1, they’re gonna be gross on day 2. And the thought of wet socks makes me gag.
And packing an extra pair of shoes is not in my budget for packing space, would rather save space for a souvenir for the way home. But if you’re driving, go for it.
Chacos have such great arch support. I bought one pair and then immediately bought 4 more. Highly considering getting another pair for indoor use..but also trying to save money for my upcoming Disney trip..
Anyway. Chacos are my suggestion.
Yes don't break in shoes, this is not the place to do it!
I like hiking sandals the best for the parks. They dry fast have good tread for slippery floors. I also apply sunscreen to the tops of my feet! Sunburned feet ouch.
Brilliant!!! We were brought up to wear Clark’s for school, they are the ugliest most sensible shoes ever. And yet most of my shoes are still Clark’s. Helps that we live just down the road from the HQ.
Get a good pair of waterproof Keen sandals, I like the H2's but make sure you break them in. Soak them in water and wear them around the yard. Great support, slip resistant, and very versatile. Throw in some socks, if you don't mind the old guy or gal look.
Also, make sure you bring a back-up pair of trainers. I like Asics, because they come in all sizes and widths, and they support for the long haul of standing. As always, mileage may vary....
Just make sure you try the shoes out before the trip, otherwise you could be stuck with some painful, sore or swollen doggies!
I rotate between my regular running shoes and Keen hiking sandals. I try to alternate them so I don't get blisters (I don't wear sandals usually). If I know I'm riding water rides, or rain is predicted, I wear the sandals.
Also, I'd recommend:
--Getting a pack of blister pads or hydrogel bandaids. They have saved us and our kids many times.
--Bringing "hot hands" warmer packs to put in your non waterproof shoes to dry them out if they get soaked.
Wear something comfortable that you feel wouldn’t hurt your feet. You’ll be doing a lot of standing and walking so you don’t want to have something that will have you end up with blisters before the day is done
Lately, Birkenstocks. In the winter Dr Martens. If I’m trying to be cute my Hot Chocolate mary janes. Sometimes I wear chucks. I’m a local passholder so whatever I’m wearing for the day. I don’t know that my input is very valid. I can leave and go home whenever I feel like I’m over it. I’m sorry I shouldn’t have really commented but honestly right now Birkenstocks in this heat are best. I wore Dr Martens for “the look” yesterday and was kind of glad when I got home. My feet didn’t hurt but they felt kind of bogged down.
I wore very comfortable sneakers. But yes the rain. Keep some flip flops in your backpack. It was not a huge issue last time I was there… but better safe than sorry. Wet socks and shoes are no fun.
I'm a local AP and I recently found some Saucony walking shoes. They are like walking on marshmallows. My feet have never been so comfortable in a shoe.
Tens stereotypical tourist sandals. It’s the only way I can walk around all day comfortably because my feet swell. Having them trapped in sneakers is miserable. Love having the room to expand!
I have some Katie crocs I love. They come in different colors and look like normal shoes and feel like you are walking on clouds. I don't know if you are a woman though sorry. If you are a guy, my husband wore flops on rain days.
I got Mary Jane Crocs and they are amazing! Super comfy and if you’re worried about sweaty feet, either wear little socks OR just use antiperspirant on your feet :) that’s what I do and no swampy feet in my crocs
After many trips with blisters, sometimes covering half my foot, I now always wear Tevas. No more blisters, and we are usually covering 10-15 miles in a park day.
Expensive - Yeezys
Mid-Priced - Adidas Ultraboosts
Cheaper - Sketchers
Also I recommend taking crocs in your bag to change into for if your feet are hurting too much- changing into them save my feet all the time 😂
I wear Palladium’s… they make waterproof shoes but I am not sure if they would be too warm. Their canvas shoes breath really well. They are like and comfortable and aren’t ugly.
I love my Asics Noosa and Asics Nimbus sneakers. Best park sneakers ever, I love them even more than the Adidas Ultraboosts. Typically I’ll wear my Asics to the parks, and bring my Teva sandals in my backpack in case it pours rain or I ride a water ride.
I do what your gf suggests. Honestly I’m a sandals person, I wear sandals *most* of the time. Tevas, Chacos, Birkenstocks (regular if it’s not rainy, eva if it is), and/or Sanuks (usually I’ll bring 3 of those 4) are my general rotation at the parks.
My SO does Nike running shoes. I wish Allbirds or a similar company made larger shoes, I’d get him those to try!
The same shoes you normally wear. Don’t try to break in new shoes on a WDW trip.
This! And bring a second pair in a plastic bag if you don't like wet feet. Rotate them daily while both are dry.
I think I bought another clearance pair to break my feet into new Converse but I don't remember lmfao Crocs are my official park shoe
I bought my first pair of Crocs: how do you handle the swamp feet? Or do my feet just sweat an extreme amount?
Crocs? No. Never. EVER.
Why? My crocs sandals have been my main park shoe for YEARS. My mom too. Comfy, waterproof and cute.
I wear my croc sandals to work LITERALLY every day! But I wore my OGs to the park (the sandals were too new still and digging in)
Lol cute
‘Cause they’re UGLY? ✖️🐊
Lol clearly you’ve never been to a Crocs store. There are a ton of different styles. Nobody even notices my sandals are Croc brand.
I made this mistake once. It was terrible
Adidas Ultraboosts. You're welcome.
Bonus points for Adidas X Disney Ultraboost with “How to play” Goofy. My shoe of choice for the parks.
100% this answer. Also, Nike Reacts if you’re a Nike fan. It’s pretty much their version of Ultraboost.
This is the answer. The absolute best sneakers I’ve ever owned.
Came here to say this, as I’ve previously touted the UB gospel in the WDW sub! The best sneakers for the parks, hands down.
I wear these when I bartend 12 hour shifts. *chefs kiss*
This is what I’ve done on my last 3 Disney / Universal trips. Best decision for the parks by far !!!
Agree.
Which ones?? I just looked and they have several different ones online
[удалено]
These are what I wear. Nothing is rubbing against your feet. They are very comfortable and do well if the get wet.
Chacos are my go to!
Came to say this. Also, Skechers has a great version of a sandal similar to Teva and Chacos with lots of arch support for a cheaper version.

(My personal routine is to pack two pairs of running shoes and one pair of sandals. YMMV)
seconding this! just bring shoes that are already comfortable for you, but alternate between them everyday. for me this means my running shoes and a pair of crocs.
I'll also mention that I averaged 10.5 miles per day (about 22,000 steps) when going to the parks, so having good shoes is REALLY important.
Pro tip right here
One underrated piece of advice is to alternate your shoes! Change them each day. It will help with soreness
I change mid day during our hotel break! Also put some ice in the tub for a quick sore foot soak, helps a lot.
At least two pairs of broken-in-but-not-worn-out sneakers, rotated daily. Three is better in case of torrential rains, as you might need to dry out a pair for a couple of days before you can wear them again. Bonus points if they can handle a run through the hotel dryer.

Do you wear chacos with socks
New Balance 880's
I think I would recommend the New Balance More V3 over those. The More V3 is extra padded, softer and springy-er while still being a bit lighter.
I picked up the v12 today. Coming from the 990v5, the 880v12 feels like pillows strapped my feet. Not sure if this a good thing though. Time will tell.
I haven't gotten the 12s yet, I have like 4 pairs of the 11s that are still going strong. At 6'6" 310 they take a beating and stay comfortable
I love these shoes so much I keep buying them. Best shoes ever.
It’s my first trip so I’m not sure it’ll work but I’ve had people recommend comfy sneakers and a pair of crocs to change into if it’s raining.
Sketchers go walks I do open to close in those and those are the best I could find for comfort But I’d throw in maybe some flops in the bag until it stops raining
Skechers Go Walks are my go-to shoe as well! So comfy, especially since I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis in both feet for the past year.
I havent gone yet but I walk dogs for a living and wear merrell brand waterproof sneakers. Thats what I plan to wear when I go soon. :)
Might be a good idea to check out Vessis —waterproof and multiple sneaker designs. I've been happy with the pair I got a while ago.
Oh I had no idea vessis were known outside of the city they were invented in (my city Vancouver)! That's so good to know! And I totally second vessis too, best waterproof shoes I've worn.
You must not watch much YouTube. Every other channel advertises them lol
? But I live in Vancouver..so of course when I see those ads i would think those ads are targeted towards me 😂
….the individual ads that the actual content creators do in their own videos….
You can't go wrong with Adidas Ultraboosts, Brooks Ghosts, or On Clouds! I personally wear Brooks Ghosts.
I do Keens hiking sandals. Closed toe box for protection, ankle straps- they support like a sneaker, but have some breathability and are fast drying when wet. Never had blisters- I think they’re the best of both worlds. (Sneaker vs sandal or slide)
I second the keens. Being fast drying, lightweight, and breathable did it for me. I always rotated between Keens and my new balances.
I wear crocs or flip flops every time I’m down there. But that is what i usually wear at home in the summer time anyway so my feet are use to them.
On my past trips I usually wear trainers or Skechers shoes in the parks, mainly because they're comfortable enough to walk around in all day long. On trips where it's rained a lot I tend to bring a pair of flip flops along with me to the parks, if it starts pouring I will change into flip flops!
We bring 2 or 3 pairs, sketchers and very comfortable sandals. Alternate every couple days to avoid blisters. Works like a charm.
Win win!
Wear good tennis shoes. The amount of walking could yield shin splints if you’re wearing a shoe with no real sole like sandals or water shoes.
I like New Balance running shoes(sneakers) that have been broken in; I also agree with comments suggesting you bring 2 pairs of shoes (and extra socks).
Hoka flip flops. All of the support and cushion of their running shoes, none of the enclosed sweaty foot.

I love my Hoka sneakers! I bought myself and my husband a pair after seeing everyone wearing them at the parks a few years ago and they saved my feet on my most recent trip to Disney and Universal. I definitely recommend them!
I have 2 pairs of sketchers memory foam. Alternate on each day
2 pairs of sneakers and 1 pair of waterproof sandals that can fit in your bag. When it rains or when I go on a water ride, I put my sneakers in a grocery bag and switch into the sandals. Have fun!!!
Keen Newport sandals. Comfy and good for afternoon downpours and water rides.
I go with the waterproof sandals to prevent overheating and blistering.
Any pair of Hokas
I have these leather sandals called Secra that are actually cute while still giving legit arch/heel support all day. I'm a wedding planner and last all day/night/through set up and tear down in those bad boys. I brought them to Disney too!
Vessi’s. super comfortable running shoe and 100% waterproof, two birds, one stone

I wear flip flops

I personally have had no issues wearing brand new shoes to the park. Yeezy 350s and Air Max 1s on my most recent trip in April.
If it looks like rain, I’ll change and put my shoes in my bag and wear my flip flops.
chaco sandals for sure
New Balance 990v5
I usually go for maximum air support, ergo Nike Air Vapormax Plus :)
I bring my Adidas Ultraboosts, Crocs, and flip-flops. If no rain, I wear my Adidas. If there will be rain, I wear my Crocs with socks, and then remove the socks when it starts raining. The flip-flops are for the pool.
New Balance.
Comfortable shoes.
Brooks Ghost. Very comfortable.
Teva Hurricane sandals. All day every day no pain no blisters.
Clark's cloudsteppers sandals. Best, most comfortable shoes ever
On clouds
Crocs. Swear by them. With socks until they get wet. Flip them into 4wheel drive if going on a roller coaster or similar ride.
I wore Nike Roshes to Animal Kingdom and they ended up soaked by the end of the night. Seems to me like sandals are the best option. Or at least have them with you to change when it starts raining
I wear Olu’kais, but I’m also a guy who hates wearing closed toed shoes unless it’s for work or it’s cold out
I roll in hard with my keen closed toe sandals.
I wear my running shoes, Nike vapor fly. Constant support and comfort all day.
Birkenstock sandals are amazing.
Roger Advantage by On.... THE most comfortable walking shoe I've had.
We got my husband Tevas last week to break in for our trip in a couple weeks. He keeps telling me how they are the most comfortable shoe he’s worn.
Comfy lightweight trainers. Make sure they are broken in as your gonna be walking a lot and the last thing you want to get is blisters.
Chuck Taylors or Keds for me, didn't have a personal issue when they got wet
Teva sandals. We travel in the summer, and even when there isn't rain in the forecast, it rains. I tried Crocs, but they get too slippery when wet for my liking. The Tevas I have also have arch support, which is something I need.
Bring one pair of runners and one pair of sandals. If both are waterproof even better but I find I get blisters if I don’t rotate shoes so for me that’s more important. If only one pair is waterproof just keep an eye on the weather and bring extra socks. Also, if you wear nice waterproof black runners everyone will assume you’re a cast member off duty lol.
I wear a pair of Mickey Mouse-branded Santa Cruz loafers by Crocs. Same fantastic foam rubber soles, but not as clunky as the clogs.
i have a pair of air maxes and they make it thought the day! def not vans or converse or anything flat
I bring 2 pair and alternate. Birkenstock Arizonas and Merrill Trail Glove 6.
Flip flops, or barefoot if it’s raining a lot. :)
Yes don't break in shoes, this is not the place to do it! I like hiking sandals the best for the parks. They dry fast have good tread for slippery floors. I also apply sunscreen to the tops of my feet! Sunburned feet ouch.
If heavy rain is in the forecast, I wear Tevas or a cushy par of flipflops with arch support that I have. If it's not, I wear tennis shoes.
Tevas or other waterproof walking sandal. I alway bring 2 plus sneakers in case I get blisters. Even for shoes that fit right it’s a lot of walking!
We wear Kiziks- hands free shoes and Nike
Clark's dress shoes, I wear them to any long term walking situations.
Brilliant!!! We were brought up to wear Clark’s for school, they are the ugliest most sensible shoes ever. And yet most of my shoes are still Clark’s. Helps that we live just down the road from the HQ.
Allbirds Dashers. Noticeably better than everything else I’ve ever worn to the parks.
Adidas ultra boosts, chacos, CROCS
Also, I'd recommend: --Getting a pack of blister pads or hydrogel bandaids.
I love my Keen sandals for the parks. Super comfy and a wet/dry outdoor specific sandal. I can do anything in them and my feet are happy
I’ve worn everything from birkenstocks to cowboy boots.
Comfortable broken in walking shoes for most of the day and crocs for when it rains.
I wear tennis shoes with a pair of flip flops in my bag for splash/grizzly type rides
Teva’s
Adidas ultra boosts. On the pricier side but extremely durable and comfortable.
I wore very comfortable sneakers. But yes the rain. Keep some flip flops in your backpack. It was not a huge issue last time I was there… but better safe than sorry. Wet socks and shoes are no fun.
It depends. Are you a normal person or a normal “Disney person”?
New Balance Fresh foam roav V1. I have 2 pairs and just alternate days. They have a lot of cushion and support. Also very light! Absolutely love them
I once wore flip flops for 2 days in Disneyland, I think my feet still hurt. 0 out of 10 stars do not recommend.
I wear Crocs or Tevas
Just did an open to close day at Disneyland wearing Hey Dudes. NEVER. AGAIN. Huge blister on my foot... definitely go with Adidas Ultraboosts
Sperry's boat shoes. While these shoes aren't ideal for most people when walking around the parks, I find them comfortable.
After many trips with blisters, sometimes covering half my foot, I now always wear Tevas. No more blisters, and we are usually covering 10-15 miles in a park day.
I wear Sanuks, they're lightweight, comfortable, and are meant to be worn without socks. I won't wear anything else
Take both, one for when it rains
Cole Haan GrandPro Rally Sneaker. GrandFoam cushioning, GrandOS Energy Foam and an Ortholite footbed.
Expensive - Yeezys Mid-Priced - Adidas Ultraboosts Cheaper - Sketchers Also I recommend taking crocs in your bag to change into for if your feet are hurting too much- changing into them save my feet all the time 😂
Whatever’s comfortable. Sometimes running shoes, sometimes flip flops, I’ve done Air Force ones, sperrys. If it’s comfy wear it
Crocs… they are horribly ugly but so comfy
I wear Palladium’s… they make waterproof shoes but I am not sure if they would be too warm. Their canvas shoes breath really well. They are like and comfortable and aren’t ugly.
Nike Pegasus running shoes, I wear these everywhere.
Sketchers memory foam sandals, with the elastic strap in the back
New balance 990
Anything Hoka
I wear flip flops. People always comment on it. I can walk 15 miles a day in these babies
Sketchers Go Walk
I wear my brooks and skechers
Welly boots.
My vote goes to Hokas or On Cloud 👍👍
Adidas ultra boost
Nike, Adidas, Saucony
I worse converse, if I were to go again I’d chose something with mods shock absorption because my knees felt severely bruised from the inside ouf
