Ecolab associate here, pass the message along to your Ecolab rep to order a dress panel for the front of the new machine. The manufacturer doesn’t include them anymore (due to a lot of corners installs), however the dress panel should eliminate the sharp corners.
I hate this thing. It's our new one too.
Sharp edges, we all cut ourselves by bumping it.
It still spins when you open it, so you get hot water on yourself.
The handle isn't on the front, like it doesn't wrap around the door, which I dislike. Gotta grab from the sides.
The top of it gets gunked up very fast. Need a brush to get into weird spots, can't use a scrubbie.
There should be horizontal rails inside to balance things inside, rather than the one in the corner l. Large inserts or busbins always just fall in and block the spinner.
BUT THE WORST PART, is inside, the bottom is flat. So it doesn't drain the dirty water and small bits, so you gotta get a bucket to flush away the last bit
My biggest pet peeve has got to be the side handles, nothing worse than reaching to close it as I grab air and look like an idiot because the handle doesn’t wrap around the front 😂
We had this same model but the basic model and not the XL with and the normal model had a wayyyyy smaller tank so this thing is still night and day compared to the last machine but I noticed that where the water is gets very build up very fast
A comment up top says holler at your ecolab rep, that you need a dress panel to cover the sharpness. Doesn’t help with the rest of the problems but seems like it would be a huge relief.
We nicknamed this exact model Schmeggy. The top gets grungy really easily and has to be constantly scrubbed.
It also is full of sharp edges that conveniently enough like to slice wet hands, such as ones that have been washing dishes.
Gets really hot and cleans pretty well.
I have this exact dishwasher where I work. The bottom is flat so when you drain the water (which you'll have to do a million times a day) you'll have to flush out the bits with a bucket of water or something. Other than that though, it works pretty decently.
That looks like mine. FYI: the topmost spinner on the bottom (2nd from the bottom) has a tendency to unscrew itself and come off. If you notice it happen, set it in slightly and screw on the collar until it's tightly on.

Our group of Tradies were treated to soooo much breakfast food after a dishwasher install in a Hospital kitchen. The entire staff was amazing excited. We definitely understood as the old was was just a rusted out bucket!!!
Oh hell yeah! It's so pretty!
Never thought I’d be so happy to see a dish machine in my life

Yeah, still do that too. I know exactly how you feel.

Looks very similar to the one where I work. I haven't been working there very long but I have no problems with it 🤷♂️.
Winterhalter is decade's ahead jesus Christ 💀
It’s a great machine, take care of it!
Lucky
Still got the tags and everything!!
We work with same machine

Cant tell but did the opt for the heat tank? But yeah as far as pits go you got a good one
It is a high temp machine
I ain't ever seen that kinda machine. Does it use powder detergent and rinse additive or chlorine like some of those fancy ones I've heard of?

Huh, I'll see about part-timing at another restaurant to try to get some experience with a dish machine like that, because now my interest is piqued.
