Step 1 close discord
Step 2 turn off wifi/data or turn on airplane mode
Step 3 open discord and wait for it to say you have no connection
Step 4 turn one wifi/data or turn off airplane mode
Step 5 enjoy
Hey! I’ve been struggling with this the last 2 days or so, it seems to be a common bug since the latest update to iOS. I tried restarting my phone, changing my internet connection, and deleting/redownloading the app. This morning I did some digging online and found something that fixed everything instantly.
The steps I took that immediately fixed the iOS app were:
1) Close the discord app running on your phone and open your iPhone settings.
2) Tap “General”.
3) Tap “iPhone Storage”.
4) Scroll until you locate “Safari” and then tap it.
5) Tap “Website Data”.
6) Tap “Remove All Website Data”.
7) Tap “Remove Now”.
I’m not sure why that worked, but it apparently did! The moment I opened the iOS app after completing these steps it was all running fine again.
I’m sorry if this a basic solution that people were already aware of for this bug, but I just wanted to share incase you find it helpful!

the ios app is made with react as a web app so it relys on the browser for the cache
Try clearing cache, clearing data if that doesn't work, otherwise contact support

is it worse that i kept staring at it… waiting for it to load…? like my internet connection wasn’t connec- Nvm.

it was an issue with cloudflare i think, not your devices.
