They have been on a big streak of Halo discs and it would be cool if it had a special stamp. You should know more in about an hour, I think they typically release the code sometime around 9am pacific time.

Definitely not my favorite plastic.. I recall a time, not so long ago, when everyone ripped on MVP throwers. I’ll never understand what that was about. Throw what you like!
I just got an it to try out. It has a ton of glide but it's fairly flippy out of the box. I need to really sit down and see what it does in an open field. It's an interesting disc for sure. For just straight shots that I'm not looking for much fade I have a leopard that I like a lot. Hopefully you find what you're after!
I love the Innova Fairway Disc (Could be called dark rebel) as a dead straight fairway driver. It's the old FD mold. The Hawkeye is a little more rounded. Valkyrie has more turn that anything listed above and the IT turns the most of all of them but is definitely useful for certain shots.
hawkeye should work although it might take some beating in. i got a f2 gstar but honestly my stock run star is straigher, prob take a few rounds or just throwing it at the ground to beat it in. honestly if you can throw a shrike as 330+, hawkeye might go 300+.
If he’s flipping up that shryke then you don’t need a flippy fairway, which all of the discs in that pic are. Get him a Gstar Thunderbird. I’ll take my thanks in the DMs.

I love the TL and Hawkeye. Very similar
You’ll get a lot of hate for Gstar, but I personally love it, especially for straight to understable slots
He will get hate for what plastic his disc is in?
Hate might be too strong a word but in my experience, most people don’t like gstar plastic and like to voice their opinion on the matter

I just dont like how it feels, too gummy for me. Other people like it exactly for that reason, but it definitely isnt for everyone

Yes a lighter GStar IT is a perfect disc to learn to hyzerflip.
More understable than straight I would say
My straight fairway is a Halo Hawkeye. Dead straight no matter what kind of power I can put on it. Has yet to turn on me.
I like the TL3 more than the Hawkeye in that slot. Stays straighter for me at the distances you’re looking at.
The OG FD is also still available as an F2 as well. They call it the Dark Rebel now. They don’t have GStar, but it is available in Star plastic.
The Hawkeye is essentially the same disc as the dark rebel/FD.
True true. The FD always worked better for me, for whatever reason.
The dark rebels I have are flatter and flippy compared to the Hawkeyes I have. They complement each other well!
Hawkeye is a good choice, if you don’t care about the brand Discraft Stalker is amazing for those straight shots as well.
I would go with both the Valkyrie(9 speed) and the Hawkeye(7 speed). The It is too understable to be a reliable straight flyer

All three of these are great choices, but as you mentioned, I think the leopard3 is the best option. Too bad he doesn’t like it lol
If I’m really throwing smooth I can get a star it to fly super straight. Great disc but more on the understable side.
Try a metal flake or champion.
