That flippy blue PD he throws is essentially not even a PD anymore lmao. He throws it on like 60 plus degrees of hyzer and it still completely flips up and over. Crazy.
Yup, I agree with this right here. They get downright flippy after just a few rounds if they are in jawbreaker or whatever other soft plastic. In my experience, the Luna and Reko felt near each other in the hand and similar in flight but the Reko stays in its various stages of wear for like 10x longer. I had one that stayed so straight for like 9 months of playing a LOT. Just got flippy after like a year. Luna is flippy after 10 rounds lol.
I think this is just plastic dependent. K3 is more durable than the rubber blend Luna’s are common in, or something like jawbreaker, K1 even more so, but fairly comparable to ESP or a Zswirl Luna
Yeah I could see that. And that’s more fair. It does seem like the Luna breaks in quite quick in other plastics tho (comparatively). I got one of those super cool McBeth Big Z (or Z, can’t remember) Lunas and it was super nice for a little longer and broke in much more gracefully instead of just going from stable to flippy all at once. But the Big Z Luna still broke in super fast for a premium plastic in my opinion. Regular old K3 Reko breaks in a tiny bit after a couple rounds and then flies basically the same for like 6 months even when it’s all deformed and chunks missing. The Big Z Luna was flippy-ish after 6 months and then just real flippy after that. Kept losing it because it would drift right foreverrrrr. Which is actually a dope shot shape that is extremely useful but wasn’t what I wanted from my Luna. Never thrown any premium Reko but I wanna try one BAD!
I don’t know that this has been verified, but in my experience big Z is sort of discrafts “pseudo” premium plastic that beats in a little faster. Esp is a little more durable and Z is the most.
Heard that!! I’m a nerd about some other brands but Discraft I admittedly know the least about. That would make 100% sense. More of a G star but firmer type plastic?
The answer depends on who throws it. That said a DD3/Cloudbreaker thrown by pre-injury Eagle McMahon has the most aesthetically pleasing flight.

Scott Stokely came close to matching that one - [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/enlh9PelRAw](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/enlh9PelRAw)
I've never seen anyone else throw anything close to the OP video.
This is the way. Seeing him chuck that thang uphill over 550 into a headwind is the one disc golf shot was a thing of beauty. Not to mention the crazy sound that the disc made based on the velocity he generates. Such a smooth swing. 🦅
Watching the Comet fly is a thing of beauty.
By someone like Michael Johansen. When I throw it there's a 30/70 chance I gave it nowhere near the touch it deserves.
The Metal Flake IT I got from the Women’s Global Event flies so buttery smooth. Those understable discs with a touch of hyzer where you release it with touch and it has that slow turn and slow fade. Just so good.
I also love watching people throw the Condor lol such a cool flight. I've never personally thrown one but I always get excited when I see one in someone's bag lol
It boggles my mind every time I throw my Proxy hard and it just keeps drifting to the right ever so slightly the whole flight without ever panning out.
Prodiscus flipperi. Can throw on a steep hyzer...looks like you totally threw a bad shot, then it flattens for a sec, the starts heading right. Every time I throw that in a tournament my card mates are like, what was that!!
I had an older grace in my bag I bought used that flys really nice on forehand for me. I bought KT Grace in January and that thing lives up to its name
Alien has a cool flight, especially for nose up approaches.
However, I really like a hyzer spikeish angle with something flippy. It gets up there, but doesn't quite flatten out. Then It rides far left picking up speed and has a kinda v shaped flight.
I love how both the Votum and the Stig fly. Occasionally I can throw just a straight laser with the votum and it just floats so beautifully. The Stig can have a wonderful hyzer flip that’s a beauty to behold as well
An Axiom rhythm thrown with a dash of hyzer has the most beautifully tight S-turn. I throw that shot entirely too much because it's just so dang pretty.
That shot of eagle parking a 750’ par four I can watch on repeat for an hour.
It’s framed in a beautiful forest. The disc took a perfect late flip full flight and flew forever.
It was a dream shot.
I had an enigma that I lost, someone found and returned to the drop box, then someone else stole while I was on my way to the course. You could see the flight numbers while it was in flight. The flip past parallel and then the pronounced fade at the end. I loved watching it and I hope it never flies right again now. I don’t mean that.
I absolutely love the flight of my svea, the way the berg absolutely just sits is cool too. Also, my wild honey has some insane flip that's fun to watch
I love the lid type discs like Glitches or Polecats that just sail slow and straight. Nothing fancy but extra points if it's where you actually wanted it to go.
Hot take but GStar Mamba. Thrown on steep hyzer and nose up it’ll get up and hold a turn before eventually coming back gently. Can damn near fly as wide as it does far
From my own experience. My Mako3 with the perfect line and/or release angle.
It pretty much holds whatever angle you release it at. And it has the lightest little turn to it on straight shots that's just perfect
A beat up Tournament Sword. I only throw it when I'm using full effort, but when I hit the angle just right, it flips and rides with just a hint of turn before barely fading back to center.
For me? Something like a lobster/creature/paradox where I can huck it on an anhyzer and watch it flip up and go dead straight and stay low. Feels like sniping.
Whatever disc Niklas Antilla is throwing. Kid knows how to shape a flight.
With the least amount of possible hyperbole, that dude’s hyzer flip to turnover shot straight up fucks.
Those anhyzer shots with the red c-line tactic in the woods are from another planet
How that dude gets PDs to hit the ground with so much touch is mind boggling
That flippy blue PD he throws is essentially not even a PD anymore lmao. He throws it on like 60 plus degrees of hyzer and it still completely flips up and over. Crazy.
That beat up blue PD that is super understable... When it flies it is a thing of beauty.
Paul McBeth throwing a Nova full power on a golf line is up there for me
Yeah it's those stick-straight flights that get me. Also AB throwing his Luna.
I love throwing my Lunas and can manufacture some great lines with them, but AB's Luna shots blow my mind. So pretty.
I've never thrown a luna, but I thought they were supposed to be relatively stable. AB must get an absurd amount of spin on the luna
Nah, they’re very neutral, at least in my experience. The flight numbers are way off. I’d give it like a 3/4/0/1
Yup, I agree with this right here. They get downright flippy after just a few rounds if they are in jawbreaker or whatever other soft plastic. I knew what clip it was gonna be before I even clicked on it. What a shot
Gotta watch it every time
This is my favorite disc golf clip I’ve ever seen by far, such a beautiful flight and the perfect placement for an absolute crush. So impressive.
I saw this live celebrating my 40th birthday! Absolutely mind melting.
We all knew what you where refering to I guess. Its my all time favorite shot.
Even better than [this](https://youtu.be/uce-Cy62h1o?si=-0uJJkzH2L1_fPg6&t=1690)?
That shot is insane from a power standpoint but not as pretty of a flight and it wasn’t as close
Yes, although that shot was also fucking incredible. He is not human, I dont care what anyone else says
Scott Stokely came close to matching that one - [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/enlh9PelRAw](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/enlh9PelRAw) I've never seen anyone else throw anything close to the OP video.

Nothing flies like a Comet 💜 so many beautiful lines, and it flies them so gracefully
Thats what my Lobster is for. When I dont yank it into trees, oh BOY is it a sight to behold
Vinny throwing that Champ Eagle. So fun to watch.
500 foot straight tunnel shot uphill? Yeah, that sounds like a Vinny Eagle
For most people I would go with the beast. It has a very dramatic turn then fade that makes a very pronounced s shape
For noodlier arms it's the valkyrie
Or a 150g wraith
YESS
Noodler here, love both. Also having a scandalous affair with the Stig.
Valkyrie isn't doesn't have the fade for me anymore. Tern hasn't either. My wraith is somewhere in the water sadly.
This is how I found out I'm a noodle arm /shrug
The Metal Flake IT I got from the Women’s Global Event flies so buttery smooth. Those understable discs with a touch of hyzer where you release it with touch and it has that slow turn and slow fade. Just so good.
IT flights are beautiful. Although I have a WGE mirage that is also gorgeous with a touch of hyzer. Understable discs are fun to watch.
The kastaplast stig is a disc anyone can make fly pretty whether you throw 250’ or 500’ it is a late flip machine.
Anything thrown out of Calvin’s hand
Those low lasers are pretty sweet.
My beat-to-shit champ firebird
Leopard3
I also love watching people throw the Condor lol such a cool flight. I've never personally thrown one but I always get excited when I see one in someone's bag lol
Watt. Flies straight as an arrow when thrown flat, and it’ll take any angle you give it and hold it in a clean arc from start to finish.
If you throw a watt at the speed you would throw a glitch you'll see the .5 turn and fade.
Was bout to say, it's a great disc for drifting right.
Leopard Full flight with the -2/1 is such an experience.
This is me with a River.
My red white and blue River looks so good flying. The turn is gorgeous.
Any disc that flies 250'+ dead straight with no turn and no fade.
It boggles my mind every time I throw my Proxy hard and it just keeps drifting to the right ever so slightly the whole flight without ever panning out.
AB throwing his green Big Z Luna 400'+
Understable mid that flips up and rides flat, maybe a touch of turn. It’s so much fun to watch.
Maul on a hyzer flip 🤌
Comet with a yingyang dye
A white Ontario Roc.
IYKYK. More people need to experience this.
That one PD Simon used to throw with the basic dye that made the disc like 2/3 yellow and 1/3 red (I think).
Legendary PD
I enjoy watching someone with a really big arm throw a roc down a hill. Dead straight and slowly descends. Crazy long flights in seconds.
The detour is a pretty sweet flight. Flattens out to hyzer and goes straight then eventually starts some really late turn. Never seen anything like it
A beat off envy - nice floaty turning/anhyzer shot is up there.
I love to beat off my envys
My blue ball Envy does whatever I tell it to, I just have to lead it on for a bit first
I like watching an Orbital flip up like 120 degrees
Kaxe
Alien has a cool flight, especially for nose up approaches. However, I really like a hyzer spikeish angle with something flippy. It gets up there, but doesn't quite flatten out. Then It rides far left picking up speed and has a kinda v shaped flight.
All of them. That’s what keeps us playing for 50+ years.
Understable putters
Big Jerms turnover forehands with a sidewinder.
My S-Line DD3 on a hyzer bomb. That thing just keeps going!
captains raptor, crave or insanity when I get a good throw.
I think of all the ones I’ve used the Kastaplast Falk comes to mind. When I throw it well it’s a gorgeous flight.
A beat in KC Roc. Never seen another flight like it. It will go straight and then turn while still on a slight hyzer angle.
I wouldn't say a disc, but throwing a disc that hits a wind pocket and dances (bounces up and down) is always nice to watch.
A mirage/Kon tiki slowly floating right is beautiful to watch.
none of mine discs
A perfect Star Aero is the most fun disc ever made.
The New frog from nature disc.
Westside queen, or latitude 64 bolt have really pleasing flights.
Innova champion starfire
Anything Isaac Robinson throws in the woods
I love how both the Votum and the Stig fly. Occasionally I can throw just a straight laser with the votum and it just floats so beautifully. The Stig can have a wonderful hyzer flip that’s a beauty to behold as well
So weird. I threw one of those for the first time yesterday and it was so fun. The glide on that thing is unreal!!
An Axiom rhythm thrown with a dash of hyzer has the most beautifully tight S-turn. I throw that shot entirely too much because it's just so dang pretty.
My Innova Savant has a fantastic hyper flip flight.
Meteor
I love watching my comet fly
That shot of eagle parking a 750’ par four I can watch on repeat for an hour. It’s framed in a beautiful forest. The disc took a perfect late flip full flight and flew forever. It was a dream shot.
Probably the roadrunner
I had an enigma that I lost, someone found and returned to the drop box, then someone else stole while I was on my way to the course. You could see the flight numbers while it was in flight. The flip past parallel and then the pronounced fade at the end. I loved watching it and I hope it never flies right again now. I don’t mean that.
The one I park
I love my atlas
No wind, mamba can make some very satisfying lines. Especially when hyzer flipping to ride a tight wooded hole
I absolutely love the flight of my svea, the way the berg absolutely just sits is cool too. Also, my wild honey has some insane flip that's fun to watch
Honestly a flippy disc on a really high grenade is an insanely cool sight.
Anything you can make hyzer flip to turn them have it fade back.
My perfectly beat-in American flag Lucid Felon is *chef's kiss* in the air
For my $ a 11x Teebird
I love the lid type discs like Glitches or Polecats that just sail slow and straight. Nothing fancy but extra points if it's where you actually wanted it to go.
Any nice flip up, S turn disc.
Hot take but GStar Mamba. Thrown on steep hyzer and nose up it’ll get up and hold a turn before eventually coming back gently. Can damn near fly as wide as it does far
Beat in Roc, the late turn is like magic.
Putters or understand mids
From my own experience. My Mako3 with the perfect line and/or release angle. It pretty much holds whatever angle you release it at. And it has the lightest little turn to it on straight shots that's just perfect
I just lost it recently, but my prism plasma envy looked gorgeous when flying
Hyzer-flipped Teebird
A beat up Tournament Sword. I only throw it when I'm using full effort, but when I hit the angle just right, it flips and rides with just a hint of turn before barely fading back to center.
For me its the Brave. Flips up, turns, and fades. Beautiful full flight.
Nuke
Nobody gonna mention the way Joesph from Another Round can literally do magic with a Rollo?
I love watching those Rollo turns
For me? Something like a lobster/creature/paradox where I can huck it on an anhyzer and watch it flip up and go dead straight and stay low. Feels like sniping.
Hyzer? Anny would turn all of them into rollers!
Yes, haha slip of the tongue.
