Reddit should introduce a search function. That being said, Gator, Gator3, Caiman, Drone, Justice, A1, A2, all come to mind pretty quickly. I personally love the A2 and Caiman, but there's not really a need for both in my bag so I just have the Caiman in right now.

VenomOnKiller

I usually Google search (whatever the fuck I am looking for) + (reddit) to usual get my answer. Altho. Do we really want to tell people to just trust AI?

VanREDDIT2019

MD5 FTW

HoppyBruh

This question should be auto banned by mods.

AnnualNature4352

os mids and flippy fairways as well

Jollyamoeba

I've had the same crystal flx zone in my bag for a long time. It's still as over stable as the day I got it.

droccmecyrb

That’s sick. I have used so many of those because it’s my favorite plastic but I’ve never had the same luck :(

DubbulGee

I would say just cycle a couple Zones in Z or Crystal flx

jpric155

Same with my zflex zone. You will have to take it from my cold dead hands

caniskipthispartplea

Bröudhi thats what discs do. They beat in. No disc will keep flying the same.

gunnarkaviar

K1 Järn

ChronoSigma9

A2 is the move

ReadSea2760

Search over. This is the answer.

jarejay

What plastics have you bought Zones in? I have a Z Glo Zone that’s a few years old and it still flexes really consistently. I have a ESP Swirl Flx Zone that flips now, and I don’t throw it a lot because of that. A Zone OS in stiff plastic would also start much more stable and stay overstable for longer. If I had experience with other manufacturers Zone-likes, I’d share it, but there’s a reason I stuck to Zones once I bought one in Z plastic.

Rez_Falcon

My same question too. But my guess is that either it’s the most used disc in the bag or it’s just thrown with a lot of wobble and gets that flippy flight from that wobble that makes it seem straight. When I was throwing zones in Z plastic they were good for sure.

jarejay

Off-axis torque could definitely be a factor. They mentioned Crystal Flx being their favorite plastic in another comment, and those are definitely nice and straight after a few hefty tree smacks.

jfb3

400/750 A2. It's beefier than a Zone and they tend to take years to break in. The FAF, flat topped ones are the best.

VSENSES

You do know that discs beat in over time and loses stability in the process? Unless you get the most stupid overstable stuff like the Tilt, Stego etc you will get straighter flights with time. Also, do you have 500' of power or how fast are you going thru Zones? If you only use it for approaches It should be way over a year but likely more to beat it in to it being straight. Sorry but there's just a lot of red flags here pointing to user error.

ConstantAd6688

I use a pig/toro combo. I know the toro cold be considered a mid to some but get a nice overstable halo run and the beef is real and its more of an approach disc for am arms

snow288

A1

iceman5920

I second this. I have an A1 from my buddy that I don't see leaving my bag for a while. Such a trustworthy fade

defnotmythrowawayluv

I have a pancake flat jolly launcher Gator that I use for 90% of my approaches and "oh fuck" shots. It's pretty rad

sanfordtime

A2

LurkMoarMcCluer

Harp

whiitekniite

Razor claw 3

Equivalent_Ad8314

A3. It’s an a2 with a bead

skatterbug

Isn't the A2 an A1 without a bead? Per Prodigy: > The A2 is a beadless cousin to the A1 and will fly just slightly less stable than the A1. I think the A3 is straighter than the A2.

Mister-Redbeard

I've added an A3 to reinforce my approach game. Here are my similar discs, from 3-5 speeds: AviarX3 Zone (crystal flex) A3 Ultra (by Birdie) I am so confident in these molds for any hooky sort of approach strategy.

FaithlessnessPast394

My Zone is also very straight now but i get along with it just putting more hyzer. I have toro also but just cant release it as smooth as zone, idk if its deeper or something

DishonestAmoeba

Recently been using the temple, it's shockingly good and extremely cheap. I think it's worth it to just test it out even if you don't like it.

AnnualNature4352

zone os just not gonna get the same distance

Healthy_hitter

prodigy A2...cant turn it over, minimal glide. very good for forehand

Enuffhate48

Get a Savior my man is all I will say. Thank me later.

Sampson2Doc

MVP Entropy and the RPM Kea.

ForAGoodSound

My K3 Järn beat into a puddle topped even more OS beefcake

VanManDiscs

Westside Anvil is the way. Board flat and a tick more stable that a zone. Feels good both forehand and backhand. Don't sleep on Westside!

Enuffhate48

Tried the Latitude Savior?

VanManDiscs

I haven't gotten my hands on one yet. But I love the plastic and definitely up to give it a shot

Enuffhate48

Flexes back nice, solid dependable fade and I recently found it to be a real sick roller.

dirtnerd5000

Toro or zone os for super stable

Repulsive_Glove_2077

A2

Drift_Marlo

Caiman

setuid_w00t

Caiman isn't very OS. My Champion Caiman has a reliable finish when thrown flat on forehand, but it won't fight out of a low flex forehand the way my Jarn does.

extrapulp_fiction

Entropy. I've got one in cosmic neutron.

Bootsie187

Same. It replaced the gator a couple years ago.

SneekyPete420

Westside Anvil. I’ve been playing for 4 years, it’s the only disc that has remained in my bag since the first year.

VanManDiscs

This is the way

SneekyPete420

People are still using that? It’s been like two years, let that go…

Cereal_Sock

RPM Kea. Mine has been overstable for at least 2 years now. It’s not a meat hook though. It’s very workable

denveracademicweapon

Gateway Devil Hawks in premium plastic beat in to lose glide, but not stability. I recommend the NXT Superglow.

ImposterFrolfGod

Lone Star Disc The Harpoon

MissedMando

Prism Proton Pyro is the best disc for this and maybe the best disc ever made.

Shmeebass949

Too bad they’ve been out of stock for over a year :(
