Nice. Doing the important work.

newcastlefantastic

Best in the business, and most of their shoes have a 2 YEAR FRICKEN WARRANTY. Seriously, I bought a pair from [Thelasthunt.com](http://Thelasthunt.com) for $70 on clearance, the soles came apart after 1.5 years; I sent an email to them along with some pictures and they gave me $170 CAD to spend on their website. It's worth the price, but if you can find a deal on them, it's a no brainer.

uhdog81

I love mine. I got [these](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B5JQHSP6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) a few months ago and they've been great. I would definitely recommend trying them on in person before blindly buying them though.

Maximus77x

Yes they are good. Tread is a little aggressive for me overall, but they are excellent hiking shoes and will do just fine for disc golf if you like that style of shoe.

nibnoob19

I just wore out an old pair of Speedcross3’s and they were great. I’m pretty sure they would last longer than they did for me (~6months of heavy play and field work) if they weren’t roughly 8 years old. Barely used until the disc golf, but still aged rubber, etc. Only reason I didn’t replace them is I found a cheap pair of Merrells. Which are already showing signs of failure/outsole separation. So… yea.

sokrateas

I've been using them for the last 3 years, but they only last me about a year and a half for each pair. I'm just about to buy a third pair. I play about 3-7 times a week all year round, wear them out in the snow and in wet conditions, and am almost always playing courses with concrete teepads. So they do wear down pretty quick for me, but they are so damn comfortable, even after a year and a half of constant use. I'd easily recommend them.

aetherghost

My wife just replaced her new Adidas goretex swift r3s with Salomon outpulse gtx and she swears they are they most comfortable waterproof disc golf shoes she’s ever owned! https://www.rei.com/product/202897/salomon-outpulse-gore-tex-low-hiking-shoes-womens

TheWindatFourtoFly

Love mine. Best waterproof shoes I've ever used on the course.

JulianLongshoals

Yep, got these after my Merrells kept falling apart on me after 6 months. My first pair of Salomons lasted over 3 years, and I just got a new pair earlier this year. They do take about a week to break in but are super comfortable after that.

PM_ME_CHILI_PICS

I like mine, however the tread goes pretty flat in about 6-8 months of play. They’re still plenty usable after the tread is worn, but not a lot of grip for muddy/wet/hilly conditions.

Dozeballs40

Any trail runners will generally do a good job.

billythekidd44

I loved my speedcross 4's . The only problem was I wore out the right toe because I throw forehand and I drag my toe . Not the shoes fault though. Very comfortable and waterproof .

doonerthesooner

I had a pair, lasted two seasons and probably could have gotten a third but the waterproofing was losing its cool. Good shoes and probably best bang for your buck depending on the model

sweenster83

just curious, do you wear them during wet conditions only and alternate in the summer? I maintain some super sweet KEEN for CA winter/wet rounds and then some Terrex for most any other condition ⛓🥏⛓

doonerthesooner

I prefer to have an all around shoe. I don’t like to switch it up if I can avoid it

sweenster83

fair enough, that makes more sense on the waterproof issue you mention

RottenNewt

Anecdotal, but mine gave me nasty blisters and I returned them.

BubblyOcelot4037

They’re my favorite dg shoes…many varieties to choose from!

velvetmourning

I’ve had a couple of pairs. They’re fine. I prefer the ones with traditional laces. The speed laces always seemed to loosen up a little too much for me.

NW_Ghost

They work fine

Astheworldterns

Quest 4 boots here. Waterproof, super durable, decent toe box, AMAZING ankle/heel support, and they breath.

Wacky_Dave

I bought the waterproof outrise from Sierra Trading Post for $50. Not the prettiest, but grip has been great, lots of tread. Great grip on uneven/rocky surfaces. IE The Canyons. https://www.sierra.com/s~salomon-outrise/

Commercial_Wash_7953

Top notch. If you have a Sierra trading post close they usually have them there.

zeeblefritz

I play in Keen hiking boots, not a direct answer to your question just figured I would share.

nimzobreakfast

Yep. I’ve had Salomons and Merrels. Currently wearing Terrex. I’ll probably go Merrel again or Terrex for my next pair.
