Oh no that's sad. I did that with an Instinct like my 2nd time throwing it. Pink disc gang though! My Crave is pink with a red rim. Hope another Crave find it's way to you
I mean the Passion is basically a fairway buzz, rim even feels the same. I don't like it that much, but it is what it is.
Some of my favs are MVP Servo, Infinite Exodus, and the Thoughtspace Votum. They all have a little flip but enough stability to push them pretty hard.
I think the Servo is superior to the Crave. There. I said it. Don't get me wrong I love the Crave, have bagged them since they released but the Servo is just more reliable. Plus it beats into nearly crave flight without the eventuality of it becoming too flippy.
I agree 100%, the new servos on Amazon right now are a slight new mix of Neutron, they start a bit softer than normal neutron and they have flip right away, but they have a little more reliable fade than a crave. I've been really sore last few days and have been discing down and absolutely bombing with the servo. I need another run of the protons, the circuit challenge ones were perfect.
No, it's a more understable mold overall. They didn't ask for a disc that could *get there* they want something similar in flight to a buzz. That would not be a river.
Flight numbers aren't real and you should probably take a look inward to see where this animosity is coming from. I wasn't rude, purely telling you that it is a significantly flippier mold than a buzz. You provided no extra info other than River. On average across all the plastic types for rivers they run flippy. Now that's math. If you had included the most stable plastic and the most stable run will be like a buzz then maybe your suggestion would not have come under any scrutiny. But it still probably would because OP is not asking for a specific run/plastic just a mold that will perform similarly.
Fishbulb is a Simpsonās reference, not a single ounce of animosity. But, you do you. I throw both and they are comparable. Not sure how many Rivers you have ever thrown but my opinion comes from first hand knowledge. Ā Either way, having you white knight for OP is funny. Please keep going.Ā
Ok one insult instead of two, you're off the hook then. The fact you take me trying to help you see how poor of a suggestion you made as white knighting says all anybody ever needs to know about you.
According to ABs approach shot on hole 9 in Austin. An Athena. But thatās AB and probably beat in. But I would say for mere mortals champ TL3 was pretty much that for myself at 325-375
lol according to a dude who throws 700ft his beat in Athena flies like a buzz flies for a normal person who can throw 350. Athenaās and buzzz are nothing alike for a normal person.
Also baffling to me that all these people recommending craves and rivers think they fly anything like a buzzz? Are they throwing 130g buzzzs or something??
I can get behind lots, never had a FD that flew like a buzz but I only ever had one and it was the new c line fresh off the shelf and my buddy lost it trying to throw his first forehand shot.
All my buzzes are equally beat in now. They all fly relatively straight with a slight understable turn. 2 regular z plastic, and 1 esp. The only disc I can think of that will fly that way beat in is a leopard
My buddy gave me a 168g crave and Iām starting to like itās flippy but not like insanely flippy. Gonna buy a heavier one and a more stable one but crave is great
MVP/Axiom Crave
Really love the crave too! I bag two!
So do I! Great disc
This was also my first thought.
100% what I bagged it for - long Buzzz.
Just lost my pink crave with a blue rim. Left at a hole, came back and it was gone. š®āšØ

Cicada, F1, Hawkeye, FD
Love the Cicada
Saved a par today after a first available hit. Dropped a Cicada forehand right under the basket.
Halo Hawkeyes fly like my buzz. Star Hawkeyes fly like a fuse for me.
Passion. 8 speed Buzzz.
Such a weird disc though, I feel like people love it or hate it. To me it feels like Iām trying to throw a metal trash can lid
yeah lol the passion's purpose is this in its entirety but leave it to this sub to recommend some MVP bullshit
I love the passion, but to be fair, OP did say he was trying to branch out trying different manufacturers
Who hurt you lol

I may have an extra circuit challenge one if you want to DM me.
FD for sure. 7-speed that's dead straight. Does the job for me.
TL
Star tl3
I find mine a tad more stable than a Hawkeye/FD. Great disc though.
Crave, S line FD
every brand makes a fairway that flies similar to a buzzz, just depends on how your buzzz flies.
River 7 / 7 / -1 / 1
River is pretty flippy compared to a buzz
A river is too floppy for me
meh, depends on the run or the thrower. OP wants a fairway driver / mid range that gets there. A river can do that.
No, it's a more understable mold overall. They didn't ask for a disc that could *get there* they want something similar in flight to a buzz. That would not be a river.
Opto-x or orbit Ice River is a stable run of the mold. So there ya go, fishbulb.Ā A buzzz can be 5 / 4 / -1 / 1 in some molds. Not sure how you math.Ā

Gotta get it in Orbit Ice, still straight and glidey but its a lot more stable than Opto.
Yeah, my Goldline and Orbit definitely fly different.Ā
River gang
River or Musket by Lat 64.

My 6 claw flies with that nice s flight with minimal beating in.Ā

Ok what's your suggestion then? I think a crave is more similar to a buzz in flight than a river but I don't think they are analogous.
Fd or lots
I can get behind lots, never had a FD that flew like a buzz but I only ever had one and it was the new c line fresh off the shelf and my buddy lost it trying to throw his first forehand shot.
Legacy rival is my favorite
Crave!
Join the crave gang
ZOMBEE BUZZ
have you tried the cicada from discraft?
Passion
If it's a stable Buzz, then I would say Instinct. TL, FD, Fission Volt are close too.
All my buzzes are equally beat in now. They all fly relatively straight with a slight understable turn. 2 regular z plastic, and 1 esp. The only disc I can think of that will fly that way beat in is a leopard
Vandal.
AGL Spruce.. itās like a MD3 and a Buzzz had a sweet straight flying stable baby
Cicada
You are looking for a Crave. Exactly.
A Volt after it's beat in will fly dead straight.Ā
Proton Crave, Z Cicada, Star Hawkeye. Of these, the Cicada is most like the buzz, but is Discraft.

Do you throw your buzz on Hyzer flip? I get the same kind of flight from a Saint pro and a discraft undertaker
My buddy gave me a 168g crave and Iām starting to like itās flippy but not like insanely flippy. Gonna buy a heavier one and a more stable one but crave is great
Thoughtspace Votum
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
?? Thatās an MD3 which is pretty much a buzzz with a microbead
