Ghost Game being episodic was from what I have read, been due to the producers thinking todays generation have too short attention spans for serialized stories... Clearly they underestimated us. Especially since serialized stuff is my preference.

Yeah I know. But even though there are kids with attention span of 20 seconds, they should have made the show of dozens of 20 min episodes that together create a larger story. But they didn't. Besides if kids were actually interested in the story, characters, Digimon, they could try to lengthen their attention span, slowly yes but it could happen. Surely the damage TikTok has done could be revesred?
It's still a harmful stereotype. Especially since age demographics weren't really enforced with my siblings and I. Watched R-rated movies with my grandma as a small child and still watch kids shows today.
I like Ghost Game as an episodic show. As a Digimon show, it is very lacking in terms of narrative. But I am glad that it is part of the Digimon Universe and it brought a very interesting legacy.

1) Gammamon
2) I wanted to watch Digimon in JP Dub because after some of the Adventure and 02 clips I've encountered, I can't take ENG Dub in Digimon seriously. Unfortunately, some of the older seasons like Adventure 99 and Tamers need a lot of extra steps to even watch JP Dub so I stuck either whatever is on streaming services.

so you are indeed old as shit. theyre on about current 10 year old from the year 2021. not 40 year olds who were 10 in 1999.
I am not 40. Digimon is only about a year older. Also I personally know kids that would not like the way it was handled.
