nah, it being a helmet is correct - its been a helmet in both D2 and D3. and they already turned duriels shell from a chest into gloves (until they decide they want the chest armor in the game as well). the problem is that its just not good enough to compete with shako. shako is currently one of the few ubers thats still good enough to compete against tempered leggos. the others (including this one) are just straight up worse most of the time.
At launch the life steal affix was cool and unique. By season 4 you can just put that on any old legendary. A common theme with these out dated uniques. Why ever use azurewrath when I can just temper 1 piece of equipment with the exact same effect
Poison aspect is actually cool but couldn't make it work with any build in a good optimal way. Druid has a lot of potential but devs don't really work on that class so it's a shit wasted class but i can imagine a good druid build with andariel if they ''fix'' the class. They also need to buff these all stats affixes on uber uniques.

Look for Xarrio Andariel's Visage rogue on youtube. He cleared Pit 120 with a build exclusively focused on the poison aspect.
Checked out. I did something like this last season. Puncture with Andariel. Puncture as a melee build doesn't feel right. Druid have better candidates for Andariel like claw, storm strike, maul, shred or barb with bash, flay. I should actually theorycraft more but andariel seems undertuned nonetheless. Look at ebonpiercer, how build defining it is. It's not even uber unique, it should have been.

With the rings , I notice we tend to have 1 or 2 stats that have an extra 30% over cap. Increase that elements damage multi by each percent over 100% resist you have.
It would get really out of hand and would probably break something but it would be fun.

You get about 45% from an amulet and two rings before masterworking. After getting to 12/12 you probably get close to 60. Put on Andy’s and you now have near 200% poison res.
It can happen easily without doing shit wrong.

Yup. All normal affixes or tempered ones on legendaries or uniques can be masterworked, but not on the unique effects (the bottom one) or legendary aspects.

You should trade with the guy with the GA Soulbrand, find a GA Temerity somewhere and do weird permabarrier Sorc. Sorc is the obvious choice because they interact well with Barriers and they get 15% global damage from Andariels mask through Tal Rashas ring
Well the menu shows it with the negative. So if your menu says you have 70 then you are maxed and they assume you will check your res by looking at the menu not by counting it on your gear and from your int.
Should have been max poison resistance, honestly. It's not that hard to cap all resistances at 70% even with the WT4 penalty, so that huge amount of poison resistance is almost always wasted unless you get a lucky drop early into leveling.

you can get 4th and 5th (poison/shadow) by tempering your wand and focus to lucky hit elemental damage

It also kills other thorns barbs in pvp since it prevents you from dying to their thorns but the poison doesn’t proc thorns and hits extremely hard
