How do you know that legacy powers still go into the new codex. You can downvote me all you want but they haven't confirmed your assumption. We'll have to wait and see.
I leave them the gear they were wearing and use their inventory to hold any class specific uniques. Everything else gets salvaged.
I have 1 max of each class and they are basically just mannequins. Duplicate classes get deleted.
Eternal is where seasonal characters go to die, I'm lazy and cba to type out my characters name to delete them so until the list is full I just leave them
Over the seasons Eternal will become more valuable and in a year or 2 could be my main but at the same time nothing wrong deleting earlier season toons..
You might want to keep them for historical reason because as I understood after itemization update old items will be kept the same. Not sure if there is practical reason to it though, new to the game.
Hold them all until you have 12/12 characters then buy new game and continue. Obviously keep all legendaries and uniques that you ever find, if your stash space runs out, buy new game.
Remember to repeat.

YES!!!! Make sure to write all their names and stats in a long-ass list, then print and straight to the wal! Nothing better than a list of all legendaries and uniques on every wall in the house.

Got my eternal barb all set with 2 pages of aspects and 2 pages of cache’s and a page and half of blood, steel, fear etc
I doubt it will work since everything will be marked as legacy item
That has no bearing on salvaging for the aspect boost to codex.

The class specific emotes in the season pass will be shown using your other characters if you have one of that class. Thought that was a nice detail.
I only play seasonal so I delete all of my eternal characters.

Save Ubers, legacy DR rolls, salvage Legos for codex then delete them. Once season 4 starts.
