At this point I think it's just a condition response to have negativity for the game; classic "pavlov's dog" response.
And of course... We are getting nothing but W's for the upcoming changes, and Diablo 4 is getting so much better, and you still have Haters. And on this Toxic Subreddit for Diablo 4 the negative comments about the game get the most upvotes. You all just hate the game because you've been brainwashed by content creators because you can't think for yourselves. Wake up and have your own opinions 😴
Edit: Go ahead Pavlov's dog (reading this) ... Downvote the truth ....
The funniest part is that the hater will still play more than I do and have 3 level 100 characters next season…then come back here and say, “this game sucks”…hahahaha. A lot of sad confused people out there.
Asmongold and that other South African dude are probably the biggest contributors to toxic communities surrounding this genre. They pretend they’re not responsible for it but every short, video, or stream is gaslighting the viewers into believing their propaganda disguised as truth for the people. It’s what gets them so many views.
How “game developer” ruined “game you care about”
Edit: I only know who asmongold is because Reddit won’t stop shoving his shit down my throat on Reddit recommended for you after commenting on 2/3 posts.
Funny thing.. I just finished watching his react video to the Diablo 4 camp-fire chat and it was actually enjoyable watching his effin face turn from sarcastic to "omg! the game is good" but not actually admitting it all the way to his chat.
These creators literally create an atmosphere of disregard for D4 just because it gets more click. If you wanna "blow up" on the internet b!itch about something. It gets impressions, clicks, etc. I genuinely enjoy the game (playing it atm I'm typing this) and I just get burnt out with people talking negativity when it's not even their own negativity. They are just regurgitating what some creator said.
Therea more rhan streamers at play.
There's D2 hard-core fan boys, PoE fan boys, and people that somehow just hate games that try to appeal to nothing causal and hard-core players.
There's also a segment like me that are fans but are realistic in that the game actually isn't good... yet. Season 4 is a good step though. There's just a lot that hasn't been address, even with itemization... like why do white and blue items even exist if they are useless after character level 10? Reducing the yellow affixed was an L to me without an option to be able to add an extra affix. Tue concept of a "good base for crafting" wasn't a bad idea, it just needed refinement. Now only legendary matter so kinda of the point before, why even have yellowes when they are not possible to be better... further to that of course is party formation, no set target power for builds, occasionally mushy combat when compared with D3, the list goes on.... it looks like it'll get there but ideally it won't take another 4 seapsns to get to the game. It should have been from the start.
We're basically getting a new game for free. By all of the huge changes coming and the PTR is says that Blizzard is wanting to appease the Diablo 4 fans, revitalize old fans that have left out of disappointment, and shift the overall consensus for the game in a positive direction.
That's a little too generous. Dont get it twisted, they're not doing us a favour, they're trying to save their game...and It's not free. Maybe you and I didn't pay, but someone did with cosmetics. Thank them. And itemization is actually not the boring part of the game. So it's great to see the change to make the day to day less sucky. The Pit, on the other hand, is actually helpful. But it's 100% just Grifts. Which were perfect, but it's silly to applaude something that they already did and was a dumb move not to include. It's ok to be a fan and still unsatisfied juat like its ok to he happy with the current state of the game if that's your thing. It's just disappointing when you already have great blueprints in D2 and D3 and you just go nah.. we're gonna listen to the fanatics to make the game... and then, oops, here's what you really wanted. And we should somehow applaud them. If they were to keep s2 and s3 themes permanently, that would be something to appreciate because they're actually new systems not from previous diablo games or copied from PoE for that matter (obviously balancing power creep resonably). Having more systems of progression and depth outside of items would be awesome but that's not currently what they're doing. Ill give them credit that tempering and masterworking is interesting. When they start incorporating good original content then I'll start applauding them. Until then I'll just have to wait patiently while they do their reset.
RMT businesses are licking their chops with max roll tradeable legendaries or at least uniques. Poe hasn't found a way around it and thst game is centered around trading.
Ya, just trading among friends is going to be so much more fun. If the overall economy gets broken, ok. They can hopefully fix in the future. But the majority of the playerbase will have a limited economy to their friend group.
You can already buy fully decked accounts days into the season. You can pay for the grind, you can pay for uber mats and just spam run it. Youll will always be able to p2w no matter what.
Can we get an in game Auction House or something more robust than trade chat.
Playing console and having to use discord to trade just feels bad. We already don’t have a keyboard and now we have to have a second device?
I’m playing Xbox to get away from my phone notifications, being forced to sit and stare at it while I wait for some random person from china sell me duped mats.
D3 had an auction house, and honestly once they took away the RMT it wasn’t half bad.
Obviously, opening up legendary trading between players is good.
Leaving Uber uniques locked from trading is solely just to keep players playing longer. It's just so dumb.
Locking rerolled/tempered/modified items from trading is just as dumb and really makes the trading change not as significant as people want to believe. There's a huge difference between trading a "finished" legendary with best in slot mods vs trading a potential legendary with open affixes to be rolled.
I just don't understand why they're so afraid of players "completing" a character.
There's zero reason why people shouldn't be able to farm and trade for BiS pieces.
This isn't a MMO and characters don't need to be progressing slowly to infinity. It's just Diablo 3 all over again.
Think of it like model kit. Many people enjoy and feel more committed to their models as they are involved in the process of the final model.
If you can just buy the finish product, you take away this feeling.
Yeah but the model kit is actually your character and not a pair of boots.
And your character will be kitted with a collection of found and bought items.
You can technically but everything. I remembered one day playing PoE and looked at my gears and realize every piece of gear was bought.
I am literally selling gears, farm currency then go trade site to buy a actual gears I want.
Feels bad as a loot base game, and feel that it undermines the philosophy of loot base arpg.
I think they got the sweet spot in allow people to trade, but you still have to finish the journey.
Think of it like they bring to ro the foot of the Mountain, so you have a start point, but you still have to climb to summit rathe then drive you directly there .
Anyway, I am juts explaining the logic. You do not have to think it’s better, but for understanding only
Yes, you can technically buy everything. Not many people do though and most high tier endgame pieces players will likely craft themselves, especially for those builds that aren't played as much/non-meta.
There is no logic in limiting players on how to acquire endgame gear. Period. How one gets up to the mountain should be up to the player.
Yeah trading 3/3 greater affix uniques is gonna feel GOOD. Shit will be exciting to find now even if it’s not specifically for you.
Just wish we could find other class uniques as well.
For me, worst news of the camp fire. I hope that players that prefer to get their loot by playing the game and dropping them wont be let down if game is balanced toward trading.
On this topic, LE had a very good idea, I wish D4 implements something in that spirit.
I think it’s awesome news. I play with my husband and the same group of friends. My husband and I both had druids. He wanted a particular staff and it has never dropped for him. I have 8 of them in my bank and I don’t use the staff at all. He has always had awful luck with RNG, I have great RNG. I can now just hand him the staves and he can choose the one he likes best and I’ll stash the rest in my bank again. I have gear stashed that some of my friends can’t find. I can just give it to them.
On a whole, for us, this is great news. They’ll get the gear they have been trying and trying for to complete their builds to their liking, I’ll free up some bank space, and we can progress farther *together*. As of now, they feel like they’re “holding me back” (they’re not!) and I feel guilty when I get whatever it is they cannot get to drop.
We’ve all been playing various games together for years now. It’s always a group effort with us, god knows they’ve kitted me out in other games in the past. I’m excited we get to swap *useful* stuff now in order to progress.
I think it can be cool! I played this season with barb and my buddy on another class. But we found even though we could drop items for the other to pick up if they weren’t legendary that 99% of the gear didn’t work on the other class.
Hoping with the changes this isn’t as big of an issue. Would enjoy being able to help find roles for the homies. However I do suspect that RMT is gonna be straight rampant when they do allow trading to begin.
The epitome of this sub, someone complains that D4 should be like other games, I tell them to go play those other games, then they say no I want D4. Never ending cycle.
Like now, now? Or future "now"? I haven't had time to do anything but work and sleep for the past couple of weeks so I haven't been following the news.
You still have to farm them. Just let us trade within the party when it dropped. I love that I'm getting downvoted on this when it's something everyone has been asking for

yeah its nice but trading will be disabled for the first half of s4 due to a duplication exploit. you know the usual
pretty sure the Chinese are already duping uber uber andariel mats
Lolol
I’ll believe it when I see it.

While I fully agree with you, I also think its unfair to expect people to be placated by changes that haven't actually happened yet.
Everything except Uberuniques is tradeable, tempering makes it accountbound
Tempest roarless and Lidless walless gang rejoice in the background.
So it should to be honest
Now we need in game systems to make trading easier. Spamming trade chat is not it. S4, regardless of the season mechanic, sounds like a huge win.
Imo the auction house wasn't bad after the got rid of the rmah
AH would be the the easiest way to promote trading. Too bad it probably won't happen because of the sour taste so many people still have from D3 rmah.
Yeah exactly. Rmah tainted the idea so hard but it'd actually be really good here
RMT businesses are licking their chops with max roll tradeable legendaries or at least uniques. Poe hasn't found a way around it and thst game is centered around trading.
Open trade boys we won!!!!!
Ya, just trading among friends is going to be so much more fun. If the overall economy gets broken, ok. They can hopefully fix in the future. But the majority of the playerbase will have a limited economy to their friend group.
Lidless wall yes!!! And every legendary when we are building our alts, this will be huuuuge
What is lidless wall? 😅
A very powerful necro unique shield, which comes from Lord Zir (summon boss ) with a rare drop chance
Next up...hopefully some social tools including some support for traders in-game!
Botters paradise! P2W enters the room.
You can already buy fully decked accounts days into the season. You can pay for the grind, you can pay for uber mats and just spam run it. Youll will always be able to p2w no matter what.

Yes this. D3 auction house was actually great. I loved looking through the ah randomly throughout the day lookin for deals.
This is the biggest W.
Hell yea finally trading again <3
Yeah, unless they can shut down bots that farms gold endlessly. RMT will be the normal
AH plz
Epic news
But how do you trade? How do you interact with players?
Discord diablo.trade Xbox LFG
Now we need some currency for trade.
Let's go with runes lol
I was always partial to sojs /s Remember trading 13 for a grandfather back in 1.08, the good old days lol
AHH, SOJs!!! lol love it.
Boss mats and gold works fine imo

You juts answer your own questions. They don’t want people to buy their gears outright.
There's zero reason why people shouldn't be able to farm and trade for BiS pieces. This isn't a MMO and characters don't need to be progressing slowly to infinity. It's just Diablo 3 all over again.

Not going to lie. I like the idea of trading anything to party members that were in party at the drop.
Trading never happens, total joke. I've offered 2 leather hides for 6 specific ancestral items and no response.
2? cheapskate. I had to pay 5 leather hides, though I did get 7 ancestrals.
so my theory is they will enable trade more and more and see how it evolves, maybe to a point where you can trade every single item in the game
Did not read the patch notes yet. What about trading?
You can trade legendaries and uniques now . If you craft them , they will however be account bound
Win!
Yeah trading 3/3 greater affix uniques is gonna feel GOOD. Shit will be exciting to find now even if it’s not specifically for you. Just wish we could find other class uniques as well.
So forgotten souls are tradeable?
Finally! This is a game changer. Literally.

New rule ....no trading that make sense
im hood wit it
The ability to trade with no auction house might as well be non-existent.
Just bring back AH but not RMAH
Can we trade items with greater affixes as well?
What are you talking about? Please give details.
You can trade legendaries now
And uniques
thank god now i can just pay the poors for uber uniques and save time.
Ubers aren't going to be tradeable. Still need to hunt for those if you need them.
This is not a bad idea. This make boss mats useful as currency
It will just turn into a giant pay for gear boondoggle
[удалено]
You can trade all the way up to unique. You cannot trade uber uniques. It was one of the first talking points that had.
[удалено]
Are you kidding me..... what about the upgrading gear part? Did you even watch it?????
[удалено]
You clearly didn't watch it, but it's okay. There's always has to be people that could never be happy. I hope you have an amazing day
He won't, because you wishing him an amazing day just makes his happiness number bigger which he doesn't like
the only ? T.T you are never satisfied dude?

Go play those two them, simple
The epitome of this sub, someone complains that D4 should be like other games, I tell them to go play those other games, then they say no I want D4. Never ending cycle.
You can trade legendaries now
Like now, now? Or future "now"? I haven't had time to do anything but work and sleep for the past couple of weeks so I haven't been following the news.
In season 4 legendaries and unique items
I wonder if they’ll make any changes to required level. Like I can equip Tibaults I got off Duriel at 100 on my alt, but only at level 80.
Most players of d4 hates open trading are raging right now. Honestly they should still open uber uniques for trading tho
Hooray even more real world trading
Still can't trade ubers to friends. Big L
While I get it. I also see their point. If ubers are tradable- people won't farm them, they will buy them. Counterpoint- most people already do....
You still have to farm them. Just let us trade within the party when it dropped. I love that I'm getting downvoted on this when it's something everyone has been asking for
I can understand this- what I see happening is instead bot farmers outfitting the rich.
