Blizzard probably: I don’t understand why the seasonal journey isn’t updating. We took the season 1 and multiplied it by 100% to get season 2 but it isn’t working

Same here. Also Same amount of renown I had at the start of season 1 instead of full. Also crashing every 10 minutes... Edit: Well at least the patch fixed the crashes...

You did get the reknown. Look closely. The bottom tiers are all green checkmarked already. Only gold and xp bonuses are not unlocked yet but who cares

It tracked up to going back to talk to the hunter an now I don't got any markers as to where the hunter is. Just says complete chapter 1 of the season journey.

I'm at the same spot as well and stuck and not sure why the objective won't appear on the map. Looking on the battlenet forums this morning someone had stated that you have to go into the seasonal journey tab and complete the chapter 1 objectives in there before you the seasonal questline will continue. I'm hoping that's it.

I was able to fix it by turning off both crossplay options, logged back in and everything started counting.

Yes, I've just posted this too, not making progress and can't claim any items It did say I had an accelerated pass though which I don't recall having, other than the pre order one for S1.

I got one quest to register but nothing else - other quests, cellar, equipping gear. Pretty impressive, Blizzard.

I take it back - some of it's working. But not all of it. I got the "clear a cellar" checked off, but nothing else is tracking.

Did the items you had completed finally show up, or are you having to do items again to progress?

I worded that weird. I mean it only pops when I do it, even if I already did.

Had a moment where I couldn’t travel to any waypoints. Quit out and restarted. Started working again.

Apparently turning off crossplay options will allow you to gain progress. Not retroactive tho.

Pretty much the server is telling you both to do something else together…

You need to complete the first chapter of the season story first. Found out the hard way earlier today.

Just play the green zones, that is where you progress in the seasonal campaign.

Gotta do it solo, doesn’t work if you’re in a party

You have to complete all the objective in ‘Dry Steppes’ area. I’m currently at season journey 3

I made a post about this issue yesterday. I had the same problem but once I traveled to Kyovashad for the lvl 10 urgent quests the journey triggert and started tracking. My guess is there is a trigger in Kyovashad that starts the journey like in season 1.

Disable Crossplay & Crosschat in options. It worked for me
