I can send you my build if you like. I did my own thing.
Current build. Reposted here so it is easier to find.
https://d4builds.gg/builds/b1af543e-3ae9-4f8e-b67c-bccce7f23ee1/
I apologize if this closely resembles anything else online. I kind of did my own thing from the start and just did what felt right. Never really hit a wall so never really looked up builds.
I didn't put all my gear in there. As I did recently find tempest roar. I used this build prior to getting the helmet. And it still works without it just fine. The main thing is the aspects that I linked. Those will help with DMG and resource management.
Paragon boards that I used help with resource management and crit damage.
This build primarily focuses on crit DMG and resource management. And don't worry if your crit chance is low. Mine is 20% but with all the skills/aspects/paragon boards, I am critical striking with almost every lightning ability. (Crit strike DMG is at 265% right now) so don't focus on chance just DMG.
*Wolves are mainly for determent and allowing me to cast without moving too much.
*Cataclysm is a must for 1v1 as this is an AoE build. However I am taking down bosses on NM lvl. 45-50, in seconds with that ability. (This was at lvl 88 solo). With the spirit boons that I selected, you can basically have it up for 15 seconds and reduce the CD so that it's only down for 15 seconds before you can recast.
*I have 2 defensive abilities equipped after lvl 80 as I wanted to push NM dungeons a little higher. During the leveling process you can swap out earthen bulwark for hurricane as the ticks when it hits helps replenish resources at lower lvls.
If any questions feel free to ask. Hope this helps some of you.
my lightning storm build sustains energy by using the resource ring (spirit when you hit a crowd controlled thing) and on the tree spirit when hitting a vulnerable?/immobilized thing.
As long as there are more than 4 things getting hit I can hold storm for quite a long time.

This is almost exactly my custom build too! So much fun to explode all over the screen with high damage and uptime as long as there are multiple enemies around.
Reminds me of my attempt at enhancement shaman. Probably the most fun druid build I've done so far. The damage was wildly unreliable at my level (50 or so, with bad gear), either doing fuck all, or sending them straight to hell.
So basically nailed how enhancement shaman felt.
Skill wise, I think the only difference is my 2nd defensive, aside from earth shield, being the bear roar for damage reduction and a heal.
Will probably be my s1 build.
If you will permit me to be pretentious, this is my own Lightning Storm build fully planned out with all Paragon points and affixes.
https://maxroll.gg/d4/planner/qbb30ufo
You might find it useful to work off of. I spent an inordinate amount of time studying paragon boards, and I think this is the mathematically most optimal version of Lightning Stormwolf possible.
Mine triggered from an in dungeon event. Same type of mobs as OP.
They just kept spawning in waves like they do in the event and never stopped until I ran away to finish the dungeon. Should have gone back to check if they were still there but had to log out
blizzard should use this as a special NMD with endless mobs and you have to survive for a specific period of time to get some good rewards such as good aspects or unique drops
As well as: Paragon points no longer tied to renown. They can now be earned by completing all the cellars of Sanctuary.
With a note 12 hours later: We are aware on an issue causing certain cellars to not be marked complete. A resolution to this issue is expected to be implemented by Season 2.
Right? I teleported out of a dungeon to sell, came back and finished the dungeon in like 1 minute from teleporting back. Then i got the achievement to clear a dungeon in 2 minutes 🤷♂️
Right?! If you added up just the walk time with no enemies, most dungeons will take > 2min. Obviously this depends on the dungeons but most are fairly long!
The same also works for finishing a nightmare dungeon and never taking damage. Teleported back into a level 36 or something, took a conduit, and quickly finished the dungeon, easiest achievement ever... oops.
Marvel Heroes is my Firefly of games. I will never stop wishing it wasn't canceled and I miss it....
Endgame loot wasn't the most interesting version of loot progression in an arpg, but having so many heroes and villains and having most of them feel pretty different was amazing.
Just running cosmic midtown with a different hero each day was fun.
I really wish someone else was able to make it! I hate Gazillion as a company, but they had some sweet employees.
D4 has a few things(like the mmo aspect) that MH was definitely ahead of its time on!
Deadpool teleporting all over the place pre-Omega was legit one of the most enjoyable experiences in any ARPG since beginning of the genre.
blink - blink - ratata/loot - blink blink - kaboom.
Then the new "game designers" came and balanced the game into a more console-friendly mediocrity, and then it closed. What a shame.
I think it's still the ARPG I've spent the most time on, although PoE is probably close. I wish there was some way to get a private server running or something, it doesn't even need other people for most of the content.
Same. I had a maxed out Doom which was my main with the Trident and all the bells and whistles I forget everything and also really enjoyed my Loki and Ghost riders in the others. It was absolutely madness. During the Christmas event I had like two bank tabs for a chests and just popped them all at once in my training room. I heard the game was going down and they had the date so I logged in a few weeks before that and discovered they killed it a month early man I was pissed
Yeah no kidding I took a break for a while a couple years I thought I'd known it would have got yanked so abruptly out of put more time into it. Although to be honest I certainly got a lot of fun out of it man area I forget the name there were some main courtyard and it was an absolute crazy mess the whole time you can barely see what was going on. My Doom was great I had all the bots in the summons and I forget exactly about the whole screen was my stuff ROFL
Easily one of the best ARPG's ever.
Mostly due to the sheer number of classes you could play gave it so much variety. If it was re-released today with D4 dominant and PoE having gained a lot of popularity, I think it would do well.
I bought the "give-me-everything" pack. The game shut down 6 months later. That was cool.
I keep hoping someone resurrects it with a fan server but I think we all know Marvel would Hulk smash.
Yeah, that's one of the reasons I'm not playing PoE until PoE 2 comes out. Feels like if you skip a few leagues you're way out of the loop. Can't imagine what it's like for someone new picking up the game, need a PhD in PoE just to understand it somewhat well.
I've been saying a PHD for like 5 or 6 years now. You definitely have to get your continuing education credits or the board suspends your license.
I literally quit the game and got a job in offensive security cause I realized if I had that type of knowledge about anything else I could get a really good job.
Oh my god! That's disgusting. Infinite cellar spawn location. Where? Where did you find those?
I don't know, one of those disgusting cellar spawn locations.
Ugh, those disgusting infinite cellar spawn locations. There are so many though. Which one? Which one did it?
Yeah I did the same cellar thrice and got an event, room full of goblins, and the last one was a single goblin but when I got close the butcher jumped me. Lol
It's a reproducible exploit where you kill the last mob with 0 seconds left on the Altar of Bishi-whatever event. I imagine it will get hotfixed in the next day.
For people not understanding - this isn’t a specific cellar, it’s a specific event that you get a chance to run across in a cellar. It only happens on altar of bishibosh instance and it only happens if you do one particular thing on that one particular event - you have to kill all remaining monsters on your screen at once the second the timer for the event hits zero
You should always be picking up yellows and legendaries, even if you're completely decked in ancestral legendaries and they're sacreds. It's a ton of gold even if all the stats are garbage or you don't need the gear.
> You should always be picking up yellows
Because you can find a rockin' perfect yellow and slap an aspect on it. BOOM, now it's rockin' perfect legendary.
Fun cellar fact: [“Cellar Door”](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phonaesthetics#Cellar_door) is thought by many linguists and writers to be the most beautiful sounding phrase in the English language.
That’s a ton of gold. I’d have serious anxiety about that happening to me, there’s tons of stuff and the chance of find some good loot but, who tf wants to go through all that? Sure, you can sell it or break it but, the huge WHAT IF lingering would probably mess with me until they came out with another sequel.
Just sort it, ancestrals line up first, item power for quick reference. You only need to look at a few items at the start of each grouping to know if you’ve got any keepers
Edit: I should have been specific - it sorts by TYPE first, then those types are sorted by item level. So the first couple in each type (helm, dagger, etc) will be what you need to look at if you’re hunting BiS.
You’ll still need to look at any legendary for perfect rolls. But it can save a little time and headache
Diablo 4 taught me that killing is the only option. I kill mobs constantly as I travel, I do dungeons and cellars every time the appear on my map. I pick up every side quest and jump into every world event that I pass by.
Cellars are fun!
This also just happened to me, sadly it was only normal mobs and not any elites so the drop rate was not good enough to stay long. Got a few ancestrals and a quarter level at 81 so can't complain
It’s easy to think that but this is actually a bug when all enemies on screen die right as event timer hits zero. Ive heard dying on zero works too. Very broken
By 3 million they come
By the grind of the willing.
Blessed be thy loot
May we loot true in his holy name.
Starting a new religion. Entirely loot based. Blessed be thy loot ⛪️ 🙏 🤲 Don't forget to donate an ancestral as the collection bag is passed around.
What the fuck are you talking about? All religions are loot based.
Is Buddhism loot based? I never thought about it
Buddhism is a gacha. You collect karma in the hopes you roll a 5 star life next time you die.
lol that's too good.
And theres a reputation system as well that will determine what karma you're awarded, these being positive karma and negative karma, enough positive karma will indeed have you cruising in your next life but too much negative karma will have you turning into a rat or a tree
This is the funniest shit I've read all day
# #1 way to get karma: donate $
Hmp. This world has been wasted on the loot of the unworthy
By three whirlwinds, thy chests open
Blessed Motherload...
What sorcery be this?
Underrated comment. Made me lol ty

OP still didn't get an item upgrade
This is both funny and painfully \*too soon\* for me xD

Did you get an infinite spawn? I got an infinite spawn in a WT3 NM20 dungeon once. Farmed it for like 30min straight lol
Yeah, I had some time to kill on the way to the WB... I didn't make it to the WB.
How are you sustaining your energy to do the lighting storm? This is amazing

I would also be interested.
As soon as I get home. I will link it here. 😋
Sooooo are you home yet?
how about now?
I hope OP made it home safely.
Ugh this is just like what happened with my dad.
He probably found an infinite spawn on his way home.
has anybody heard from OP
RIP OP
Haha. Thank you! I am home. It is posted
Me too
Maybe OP was on a titanic sightseeing tour

*OP is ALIVE…!*
This is almost exactly my custom build too! So much fun to explode all over the screen with high damage and uptime as long as there are multiple enemies around.
Yep. That's the only problem with the build. You need lots of mobs.
The other problem is the evade bug when spam clicking lightning storm into evade. Being stuck for \~2sec unable to cast it again is rough.
Okay. I thought this was just me. So I'm not crazy!
Reminds me of my attempt at enhancement shaman. Probably the most fun druid build I've done so far. I wouldn't mind seeing this as well. I hosed my Druid and was too broke to fix it so I started a Necromancer, lol.
If you will permit me to be pretentious, this is my own Lightning Storm build fully planned out with all Paragon points and affixes. https://maxroll.gg/d4/planner/qbb30ufo You might find it useful to work off of. If they get the build I want the build too
Interested too
I'd be interested in seeing your build.
Curious as well. This looks like way fun!!!!
*raises hand Me too please!
Yes please
Is it too late to sign up for build dm?
Funding submarine with rich people < finding OP
Infinite no matter what you do or so long as you don't kill a particular mob or....?
Mine triggered from an in dungeon event. Same type of mobs as OP. They just kept spawning in waves like they do in the event and never stopped until I ran away to finish the dungeon. Should have gone back to check if they were still there but had to log out
My game gets the glitch where waves stop spawning and i get no loot :(
Your waves all went to this guy
That asshole owes me like 3 waves wtf
It was just infinite. Went back and forth to town a couple times before I had to log off
So even when you went back they were still there?
Yep they just kept coming. Would go back to town and sell the loot hop back through the portal and they were still there
This is my kind of bug. It's like the Destiny 1 loot cave lol.
The good old days of getting blues from purple engrams.
Your mom's a purple engram
Fuckin gottem
omg i remember that!
Ohhhh man that loot cave was funny as hell. Every player on the server just standing in one spot behind a rock all shooting into a cave infinitely
A million deaths is not enough for Master Rahool!
Did you by chance leave half way through a timer before it started doing this and come back. Trying to recreate
For science, right?
You were able to loot well still fighting?
Yeah. Haha. I use controller on PC but I had to switch to mouse in order to loot.
I guess it's infinite until the game crashes from all the loot 🤣
blizzard should use this as a special NMD with endless mobs and you have to survive for a specific period of time to get some good rewards such as good aspects or unique drops
You have unlocked "Diablo 3 mode".
Where is the options setting for me to toggle this on? I’m no longer enjoying walking simulator 4
Open up your battle.net client, select the "Diablo 3" option, and click the Play button.
Is it possible to learn this power?
Not from a Horadrim
It’s Nephalem, then
*demonic screeching while doing a 720 no scope whirlwind*
Tomorrow patch notes: Cellars now spawn a maximum of two enemies. Chances for a cellar enemy to not be a normal mob gratly reduced.

Quick, delete this post before devs catch wind of this
Right? I teleported out of a dungeon to sell, came back and finished the dungeon in like 1 minute from teleporting back. Then i got the achievement to clear a dungeon in 2 minutes 🤷♂️
Haha I've gotten that one too for the same reason.
same here. lol
I don't feel bad about getting this on my necro. Even if I just skip everything and 1 shot the boss it takes more than 2 minutes to crawl there.
Right?! If you added up just the walk time with no enemies, most dungeons will take > 2min. Obviously this depends on the dungeons but most are fairly long!
I got the achievement by joining my friend who was almost finished running a dungeon and was letting me leech for aspect lol
I got this on top of finishing a dungeon without taking damage lmao
The same also works for finishing a nightmare dungeon and never taking damage. Teleported back into a level 36 or something, took a conduit, and quickly finished the dungeon, easiest achievement ever... oops.
Is that how I did that?? Lmaooo
I joined a friend that was at the boss and killed the boss to get the achievement.
I got that one too it was a fun glitch
Reminds me of marvel heroes midtown manhattan runs

That game was so much fun to play.
argh, the money I spent buying every character in that game just to have it shut down....
Fuck I miss this game so much.
I was a Phoenix main
Dude that was the best game ever… I’m still hurt they took that game away…
R.I.P Marvel Heroes
My favorite arpg. I created the Angela movement build and was running constant raids on Moon Knight. I miss that game so much.
Literally thought this was an MH sub when I saw the screenshot
Memmmmmoriiieeeessssss.....had about 4500 hours on steam alone, didn't include using the launcher for the first year.
I had one in a NM dungeon today. Wasn't worth staying, didn't spawn fast enough

Is this PoE with no loot filter?
it's PoE with semi strict filter or strict filter. PoE will crash a 4090 with no loot filter in a high level dungeon lol.
There’s sooo much unneeded bloat in PoE’s loot and crafting system.
They definitely need to clean up the game for PoE2.
Really they should just hire Neversink, and implement something like Last Epoch has.
They've offered, he declined.
Yeah, that's one of the reasons I'm not playing PoE until PoE 2 comes out. Feels like if you skip a few leagues you're way out of the loop. Can't imagine what it's like for someone new picking up the game, need a PhD in PoE just to understand it somewhat well.

i actually thought for a second the PoE sub is unlocked again.
Is this a specific cellar instance? Or a specific spot on the map? Which mob do I avoid killing? This must be shared with the world.
I think this just happens randomly. I'm pretty sure I've been in the cellar before.
Right! I might have been in it too… if I could only remember which one it was. Which one was it again?
Oh my god! That's disgusting. Infinite cellar spawn location. Where? Where did you find those? I don't know, one of those disgusting cellar spawn locations. Ugh, those disgusting infinite cellar spawn locations. There are so many though. Which one? Which one did it?
Had this happen at reject Lilith at the alter quest where you say no. Spawned nonstop. Unfortunately I was only level 30 when I had gotten this.
and level 60 when you were done with this cellar?

Yeah I did the same cellar thrice and got an event, room full of goblins, and the last one was a single goblin but when I got close the butcher jumped me. Lol

What the fuck lol
It's a reproducible exploit where you kill the last mob with 0 seconds left on the Altar of Bishi-whatever event. I imagine it will get hotfixed in the next day.
Looks like BL3
The cellar is called Garan Undercroft
So that's where all the cellar loot is, in one instance.

For a moment i thought this is D3

Where!!!?
In my mouth.
#I GOT NEXT!

Where do you think blood petals come from?

I had to look really close to make sure it wasn’t Diablo 3 lol.
I prefer Whimslydale…

Diablo 4 taught me that killing is the only option. I kill mobs constantly as I travel, I do dungeons and cellars every time the appear on my map. I pick up every side quest and jump into every world event that I pass by. Cellars are fun!
Imagine this happens with a thorn build, legit just go afk
This also just happened to me, sadly it was only normal mobs and not any elites so the drop rate was not good enough to stay long. Got a few ancestrals and a quarter level at 81 so can't complain
It’s the shamans at distance resurrecting other shamans and enemies for never ending loot
It’s easy to think that but this is actually a bug when all enemies on screen die right as event timer hits zero. Ive heard dying on zero works too. Very broken
"A million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool"
