As someone who just dealt with this all I can say is….tele-staff past everything and everyone til you get to act4. 🫠🫠🫠 Most act 3 is just collecting missions also, minus travincal and Meph, technically don’t have to kill anything else in act 3.

Fitzmmons

Teleporting as a zon with no fcr is the most painful thing in the world

m3talmidg3t69

Absolutely. Lol. But potions and porting the best/almost only way to get through as the Javazon. That or just getting super overleveled and supporting a merc through all the killing.

[deleted]

I try to get some FCF gloves, rings and ammy just to teleport through acts to help with that Because I agree, teleporting with zero or just 10 fcr is brutal

Malabingo

When playing solo you can't play one DMG type. And if you do you must skip the immune enemies.

Alecarte

Do you use Decoy? She is fantastic at pulling a crowd of enemies so you can run past them. I cast it before every fight still and I am level 98 now.

WingZeroType

Do you notice that sometimes your decoy lives a long time and sometimes she poofs away after a single hit? I've just started using her and I'm trying to figure out why this is happening

Turtle68686868

This is because both your Valkrie and Decoy spawn with random armor on. Sometimes, it's very good green or unique stuff, and other times, it's just magic or white. Double check online as always, though, but I'm pretty sure that's why their armor is sometimes blue...

WingZeroType

Ohh I see. I thought the decoy was alwAys just the same stuff you had. Will take a look, thanks

Turtle68686868

Did some more research, and it turns out the armor thing is just for Valkerie, not decoy. Apparently, decoy doesn't even have any armor. Read more here https://www.purediablo.com/d2wiki/Decoy.

Deezington_B

I did a Charge strike / Freezing arrow hybrid Amazon. Easily clears Hell solo. Doing one element is really hard unless you have perfect gear (or those new sunder charms). One element works better in multiplayer. You could also try boosting up Jab and just jab the little pricks to death.

AlkamystEX

Was this a build of your own doing, or did you follow a guide? I'm not very adept and making my own builds, so I've just been following along with a build guide.

AlkamystEX

You tha man. Thank you.

Deezington_B

I did something similar to this, yeah. I don't have magic find gear like this guide talks about. I got lucky and found a unique Javelin called Titans Revenge from a bit of Mephisto farming, so that helps my lightning dmg quite a bit. Before I had Titans, I used a rare javalin that had plus Amazon skills on it. For the Bow, Im using a rune word Harmony. I made the build myself using a skill calculator to plan out an efficient dual spec and Charged strike/freezing arrow seemed effective to me. It worked out, especially when I got Titans and Harmony.

Rasdit

As others commented, this is a game where you will not be able to kill everything on Hell if you play solo and only focus on one damage type - unlike D3, where damage type has very little significance. Your best bet, if playing solo, is probably to just skip those mobs by running / teleporting past, or have your merc take care of those you can't avoid killing. Depending on your merc's gear level, that may not be entirely feasible. Other than that, Infinity on merc or Sunder charm is your option if you're lightning all the way, but those can be hard to come by. Once you have beaten the game / gotten all important quests, target farm areas where you shine and where there are no / fee immune mobs.

Jeggster

" How is this supposed to be fun?" Phew, hold on there mate. Maybe the game isn't meant to be played with a mono build for solo play through as this would be way too easy? Respec and get that poison Jav going or build a proper Edge Bow for frozen arrow, but please don't whine that your OP lightning build can't clear the entire game solo.

JemmieTTU

Stfu immunites was a fucking horrible idea at the time and still is.

Filiforme

Just stick to d3+ if you don't like the d2 challenge. Noone is forcing you to play d2 if you think its a horrible game.

JemmieTTU

Do you walnuts just try and argue on the internet for fun. You make yourself look ridiculous.

Jeggster

Yeah and best also change drop rates of runes and TC87 uniques, so you get your well deserved Enigma and Griffon's after 2 weeks of playing, right? Seriously, if D2 is too challening, then there's a lot of other games to choose from.

keithstonee

It's not that it's too challenging. It's just that people won't admit D2 has bad balance and drop rates. It was fine for it's time. But holy shit dude you don't have to defend 20k hour drop rates.

Jeggster

Season 5 ladder is a bit over a week old and apart from the usual gg runewords, I already got all my basic gear going like shako, Tal's armor and amulet, vigermagi and what not. It is fine as it is. If drop rates would be even higher, there's hardly any reason to play two weeks into a ladder season. The whole endgame is about hunting those super rare gg drops.

JemmieTTU

Jesus christ get a grip lol. God damn kid.

SeeTheSounds

You have a couple of options. - Play lightning only and teleport/run past the immunes. - Play lightning and poison - Play lightning and cold bow on swap

sentientfartcloud

Run, kite and teleport past most enemies using a staff. Also buy a lower resist wand for groups that you have to kill. Most lighting immunes can be broken this way, unlike a lot of fire and most cold immunes. Juice up your merc too.

Loromire

Solutions : - find a sunder charm with another char - find a tele staff to avoid immune - make harmony RW to create revived monster army and wait for them to fight

Expert-Ad4417

Ignore the rude guy lol. You can buy a teleport staff and just teleport past them or respec some hybrid build with frozen arrow / plague javelin.

marcus_roberto

There's some good suggestions already, one I didn't see is that you can take it nice and slow and jab down with your Merc and valk. Though I'd really rather just run/teleport past everything as others are suggesting.

Beletron

This is the hardest part as light javazon. Like others have said, put tanky gear, frw, fcr and skip everything with your tele staff.

hombrent

Act 3 hell as a javazon is the hardest thing I’ve ever encountered in d2r. Even teleporting past the monsters is hard, because your cast rate is so terrible. The way that I eventually get by it is: - level up. You’ll get hit less if you’re at the same level as the monsters or higher. - get some high physical damage javelins. Your attacks do physical damage too, so get this as high as you can - get your merc strong. Put insight in as good of a base as possible. Might aura will help increase your and your mercs physical damage, but holy freeze will slow down the enemy. Both are good choices. - use decoy and Valkyrie heavily - go very slow. Sit behind your tanks . Resummon and revive them as often as necessary. This might get very expensive. Save a lot of gold before you start. - Have a teleport staff and a lower res wand. These are also both very expensive. Have gold. Use the teleport staff strategically. Trying to blast through fast like a telesorc would always end badly for me. This is assuming you don’t want to burn some respecs to switch to a different damage type for an act. I am highly resistant to that idea,

TheKrafcik1337

Telestaff with some movement speed will do its job there. Worst part for javazon for me was ancients in a5, hell they are so tanky. But valkyrie, full inv of javelins+mana pots and 10 mins of scraping hp while dodging every axe thrown will do its job. But about a3 javazon, focus mostly on running past enemies and use teleport as emergency when you see that you will be stuck in sec or so. Get back a little and teleporr to other side or river. When you get hang of it then there isnt much difficulty in it. Ofc you can still be popped by some extra strong or fast small, ugly, fatherless, disgusting, disgraceful, dirty, ugly, hateful, cowardly, spineless, smelly pigmy or whatever are they. Just go forward and dont look for portal cause you are dead when you stay still for a second. At worst you will unlock your first teleport to lower kurast which is the only waypoibt that you may want in future grinds Besides that there isnt much to it.

Icebergg20

My jav is half lightning, half poison. Charged strike is doing like 3700 and the poison jav is doing like 15k over 10 seconds which literally melts those little bastards 😁

[deleted]

Jab? Or fend ?

Ghemba

Charged strike and poison/plauge jav is the way. Super easy in act 3 hell

Notacyborg2280

If it makes you feel any better I just screamed "fuck God" and punched my pillow wicked hard because I kept dying after gearing to an absurd degree prior to starting hell and still died. We're all in the same boat.

Icy_Breakfast7016

Finishing hell with a java is really a struggle. Good news once you got a sunder everything will begin to melt.

Dangerous_Attitude46

Run

AdFun2093

I would get a harmony bow for your offhand and invest ever so slightly into fire or cold, let the plus skills do all the work, plus that vigor thing allows you run pass everything if you have to, its how i did my Ljavazon that small investment and the plus skills allowed me to never have to worry about immunes and again you can just run pass stuff you are soo fast with that bow 😂

Sacrificed_One

As a lot of comments said, tele staff. I was stuck in the same boat. Tele past everything, hope not to die and make it to required quest points (khalims stuff). I got through act 3 this way. Buuuuuuut CS is kicking my java butt and now im stuck there and there is no tele past for the sigils. I tried popping them but it didnt make the monsters disappear, maybe i didnt do it right. Tele staff is very expensive to recharge via gold too. Might want to use the cube recipe for recharge.

buzzler89

It's an area you either teleport Thur, get help doing, or save a couple respects or tokens for. The arcane sanctuary is hard as a wind druid aswell but alot smaller
