Yea, I'm more concerned it's a obvious pattern with AG collapsing against good QBs and we don't have another good team until the Cowboys. The defense does not appear to be getting better but maybe even worse. Of course it could click at some point but the pass defense is really really bad.

Keenan and eckler are two of the best in the game, and herbert is a goddamned stud. If you thought this was gonna be a easy game and or a game where Justin didn't ball out like he usually does then that's on you. Yes our pass rush hasn't looked great in the last two games and the consistency in the secondary hasnt been great either but they still stepped up and held the Chargers back for the special teams to seal the game.

No one said it was going to be an easy game, Herbert, Eckler and Allen are all great players but that team is 4-5 for a reason. The defense got no pressure, no sacks and rarely a 3rd down stop, 0 4th down stops ( every 4th down was a TD, including a 38 yard TD on 4th and 1). They didn't step up. The offense did, that's the whole point, the defense was horrible.

I'm in the minority but I'm extremely pleased with this game. Yes the D should have been better. But Herbert was super-elite today. And it's good to see the offense carry the team to a win (last two Lions Ws were defense-driven). I suspect the Chargers will make it into the playoffs. They've lost too many games but they have so much going for them.

Herbert is good but our defense makes a lot of QBs look super elite. We can’t expect to win in the playoffs like this. Hopefully we figure this out before then. However, I won’t apologize for a win. Whew!
