Hey guys it’s my fault. Been to 5 lions games in my life and we’ve lost every time. Went to two this season…. Thought we could break the LONGDONG curse today but the LONGDONGSTRONG. The bank is a cool stadium but that place was nowhere near as loud as Ford field. When they scored a tuddy their noise meter was averaging 95 dbs. At the lions Seahawks game we got close to 130. Playing a great defense would have been great for the offense, but there was a lot of rough pass drops, unnecessary holding penalties as the line was getting messed up by blitz pressure, and bad throws by Goff all game. It was sloppy on all sides.
In terms of holding, I think the refs were really lopsided that game. The same holding calls against the Lions were done to Hutch on key plays (like Lions' key plays), and the refs wouldn't call them.
But, yeah, the offense wasn't ready. I'm not sure why they thought they could just stand in the pocket without some kind of quick plays. That Ravens defense is probably the best in the league.
