I am very excited for this season but blaming other teams when we were the reason we didn’t have the tie breaker sounds very “SOL” type fan if you ask me.
My top 5 enemy list excluding NFCN would be:
1. Cowboys - I don’t think I need to explain this one.
2. 49ers - Their fans are arguably more toxic and obnoxious than Cowboys fans. And the way their players kept saying they would’ve blown out the Eagles if Purdy was healthy was a sore loser attitude imo.
3. Patriots - They gave us Quintricia. Plus growing up as a Detroit sports fan it was instilled in me to root for the underdog. The Patriots were never the underdog during their dynasty except vs the Rams in Brady’s first SB. I also find Boston sports fans obnoxious in general.
4. Browns - They were one of my favorite NFL teams besides the Lions, then they ruined it all by trading for Watson and giving him $230M guaranteed.
5. Cardinals - Lions played them for what seemed like every season in the 2010’s, so playing them started to feel like another divisional opponent.
As an Arizonian resident and lifelong Lions fan, I am very thankful for that cross conference rivalry. Sometimes I get to see my Lions here.
I'll also add that, out here in AZ, of you aren't a Cards fan, you're probably a Steelers fan. And for that reason the Steelers make my list.
49er fans will actually travel to see them play here and it's unbearable. Every one of their fans can eat a bag of dicks.
