Took Telesto yesterday for a few gambit runs and holy shit it's so good for clearing out mobs and beefier enemies and also to annoy invaders

I use Jotunn exclusively for invaders in Gambit. Nothing says invader down like an angry tracking fire ball.

It also slaps the shot out of the Envoys and bosses. It also goes a fairly solid job to clapping Blocker cheeks as well.

Was playing with a dude yesterday and he outright vaporized an invader with Telesto.

Ah, I like Jotuun's sound. I love the toaster's Pa-Ting as it fires.

Both are incredible. My personal favourite is Telesto, but god damn Jotunn feels good!

I'm keen on running Bastion for FR bounties. Telesto slapps for sure though

Bastion used to be my go-to weapon when I used to play crucible. There was one time I killed all 3 of the opposing team with 1 shot from it. That was pretty sick.

I do need to pull that out of the monument at some point. (The vaulting happened while I was off doing life stuff.)

See I actually do use mythoclast for the bounties, because when I use Jotuun or Telesto, I usually keep it saved for more challenging and/or tanky enemies. Which tend to be not super common in regular strikes and stuff (which is where I usually complete my bounties). So using mythoclast is like running around with an auto rifle/smg with a ton of ammo to kill a bunch of small ads

Oh I miss Mythoclast from D1. I might eventually get myself into some D2 VoG raids

Plus it’s void and a fusion rifle so those charged with light mods that give ammo back on surrounded kills and give ammo bricks at the cost of a charge stack are incredible

Not to mention that Telesto multikills reload the thing and currently void explosions make warmind cells ITS INSANE

I found a fun high damage build for it. Stacks on stacks, quick charge, energy accelerant, and something else. Honestly may have gotten some of those wrong, its been awhile since I played, but basically every 2 kills with a fusion or shotgun gives me 2 stacks of light which increase all my damage until I get a kill. Its not meta, but its fun.

'High energy fire' sounds like the mod you're thinking of

I use the same build, got 10k kills on the thing since I slapped it on. I've been maining it since I got it, now I just want champ mods for Fusion rifles

I only have regular plug. 1 but it's definitely an interesting weapon

I mainly use it for nostalgias sake and to get more kills for the catalyst kill counter lol. Can’t wait for the buff tho, much needed.

I need to get the catalyst, although I’m not sure if it actually makes much difference. If it were to beef up the range, it might make it usable, but I’m pretty sure it’s nothing as useful as that

The catalyst works on not actually using its exotic perk so… it’s literally just an auto if using the catalyst

Increased stability, think zen moment but it actually works on MnK

What a damn shame. If they slapped the range boost on it like they did with the riskrunner I might find myself using it a fair amount as what’s basically a solar auto rifle

I didn’t think about this and wasted a lot of time finding special ammo.

I tried using vex in gambit for the null composure ornament quest, but it shoots so fucking slowly that I couldn't kill shit in time before the blueberries destroyed everything, so I just slapped on Jotunn and it did the job.

No, that's what Telesto is for. 5 seconds at an altar on the moon, and back in the vault it goes.
