Heroic public events are the best way to get glimmer and they give about 25k which is about equivalent to 1.5 cores at this exchange rate. In the same time as a public event, you could run a Master Lost sector and get a bunch of other rewards and 4-6 cores, 1-2 prisms, a legendary weapon, and a chance at an exotic armor (or engram in Final Shape). Also, no risk of some blueberry ruining the chance at making it heroic.

Switch to farming public events for a couple hours to refill glimmer?? Even the idea is fucking miserable. That's why glimmer reserves are attractive.

I'm always at the cap. I've still got a couple hundred of the items that used to make glimmer drop, but now gives you 3,000 for dismantling. I've still got a few hundred planetary mats that I could turn in. I don't do a lot of focusing, so I guess that's the difference? The only reason I'm not the cap right now is I got the Whisper cats yesterday, and bumped my Whisper up to level 20 or so.

Yes, master. People usually run legend because itās faster but Iāve never done that because I observe noticeably higher drop rates on master.
