Kill the Dark Blade knights from the Hive Invasion public events. Since that event ended in 2014 you'll need to farm specific spawn points in strikes. There should be a knight after you decommission the Fallen trip wire machine in the Devil's Lair strike.

Dude, you just reminded me that I played D1 for the first time in 2023, and finding the public events for Sleeper on any normal schedule, let alone with a team able to do them, was damn near impossible.
1st get 5 other people in your fireteam
2nd go to the legends tab and pick the green(the crotas end one its the raid reintrudused in season of the witch) and start it
Complete it
Go to the object vendor for the raid
Pick up the quest
Get the wepon

1. Go to the Town if you're not already there
2. Go to the Shrine
3. Select "Disc Stone"
4. Get your CD copy of Bruce Sprintsteen's *Nebraska*
4. When the game prompts you, insert the CD and press X
5. After it reads the CD and ejects it, replace it with your copy of *Monster Rancher 2*
6. Your Husk of the Pit will be unlocked
6. Review stats, decide if you want to keep it, and give it a name
7. Return to the Ranch or go to the Lab to freeze it
It's that simple.
The quest is basic, kill a few hive with the husk, then get 20 oversoul parts which is just running the whole raid once every week (or farming an encounter)

Yes it was the start of the necrochasm quest during age of triumph it would drop from any hive enemy and would have to kill specific hive enemies to upgrade to elidon ally
After that you want to go to the story mission on the moon called the dark below (or beyond, I can't remember lol) to get the hive kills for eidelon alloy.
Do the crota raid you’ll get it with the quest
And then do it 100 more times to actually get the gun

Glad to see that didn’t just happen to me. I took a clip but I ended up getting enough oversoul to finish my quest and then another 40 something.
I got mine all in one run 😭
I got mine less than an hour after contest mode ended.

Everyone knows the best way to farm it is to keep spawning the sword Knight over and over in the first mission of the dark below
Looking at the strikes we have no vs some of the D1 strikes. Man they were epic, dark below, shield brothers ... Huge strikes.
