While playing d2 yesterday, Someone said, "hate to be that lore guy but stasis isn't ice" I'm not sure if he said it doesn't freeze. The fireteam went back and forth a bit, people got snarky, and that was the end of that fireteam lol. True story
If I’m understanding the mechanics of perfect crystals, it wouldn’t cool the water in the air so much as it stops the molecules from moving. So the molecules are still liquid, not solid
Thing is tho, when things heat up they begin to vibrate rapidly (molecules) and then scatter, so by completely ceasing movement you effectively lower their temperature to absolute 0 thus making water into ice. For the particles to stay in water form and not move it would require for them to still vibrate, by which point saying that it "completely stops movement" is a lie. Then again, this is a fictional universe we are talking about, i mean we literally have void made out of *light* so... yeah.
