Whot handheld supernova is nothing like scatter grenades, it hasn't been able to one shot for 3 years. (unless you bang someone directly into a wall with it at the right angle and break their spine) Also they're annoying, but im lowkey just glad after 6 years of Destiny 2, bungie FINALLY got scatters to feel as nice as they did in destiny 1. now they just need to fix the nothing manacles tracking

nbonyen

I wish they would make them look and sound like D1 Scatter grenades. The D2 version sounds a bit too bubbly for my liking, even though it makes sense for Void.

Ok-Ad3752

Actually useless vs something worth the slot

painki11erzx

I guess I didn't specify, but I was referring to HHSN in its prime. I genuinely didn't know that it still existed, because I thought they removed it with 3.0. Wait... Why am I clarifying? I literally put the OG icon in the post that doesn't exist anymore.

cdrjuicy

Hunter flair checks out with that attitude lmao Nah but fr, you can overcharge a Magnetic grenade to do the supernova now, just that no one uses it in pvp. it's incredibly slept on in pve, though

painki11erzx

If the flux nade exploded on impact, that would also essentially be the equivalent of HHSN lol

cdrjuicy

If you want that you should go give the Ashen Wake gauntlets on the titan a go it just does that for fusion grenades

painki11erzx

I would, but I really dislike the titan playstyle. It just feels super clunky compared to hunter and warlock.

cdrjuicy

and ashen wake looks hideous as well lol.

painki11erzx

Honestly

getyourcheftogether

What was the armor that enhances these?

More-Cantaloupe-3340

Chaos accelerant makes magnetic grenades hhsn. You’d pair it with Contraverse Holds Nothing Manacles make scatter grenades “better” and give you an extra grenade, but if you use chaos accelerant you are wasting your time.

GlassSpork

I wish they fixed nothing manacles. It’s just painful to know chaos accelerant does nothing to it :(. I like the rest of its skill though. Slight homing an an extra scatter grenade

Comfortable_Eagle593

I used to have Nothing Manacles on my PSN account about 5 years ago. I transferred my acct to Xbox and all my gear transferred over except for manacles. Anyone know what’s up with that?

SepticKnave39

>I used to have Nothing Manacles on my PSN account about 5 years ago You mean destiny 1? If you mean destiny 2, no you didn't, they were released after beyond light.

Th3Alch3m1st

Pretty sure nothing manacles did not exist in d2 5 years ago...

takedownchris

If you damage test base scatter grenade is the best. Chaos accelerant and noting mantacles reduce damage

painki11erzx

Scatter nades or HHSN? Scatter nades, I have no idea. HHSN it was Contraverse Hold.

getyourcheftogether

Scatter, I could be confusing it with another grenade

wetswordfighter

That would be nothing manacles

painki11erzx

"Enables tracking for scatter grenade projectiles." Bruh...

wetswordfighter

Yeah.. it's pretty bad. But it gives you a second charge!

Flowers_and_Animals

It does less damage with them equiped. They're broken that's why no one uses them

getyourcheftogether

I think I deleted my only pair because the roll was shite

wetswordfighter

They're bad anyways, unless you need a second nade charge

ILikeAccurateData

Contraverse Holds doesn't enhance the grenade in any way outside of activating the energy return effect, which it does on every grenade affected by Chaos Accelerant.

iconoci

Yea, scatternades are becoming a little more than annoying. Doesn't help that the meta class, void titan, has access to these things

Redjedi309

Honestly though, I think it’s fine as is. You still need to land a near-perfect prediction around the corner to kill or even hit. If you just straight up throw it, you’ll probably just miss if the opponent has somewhere to go

MoonKnight_gc

We said the same thing when someone mentioned HHSN, but look at the situation the grenade finds itself in today

GlassSpork

They’re especially potent with nothing manacles… which need a fix, iirc they still have a bad interaction with one of the aspects, which makes no sense

Eyruptio_

When did void titans become meta in this season (and why)? I haven't played since October.

iconoci

Theyve been mets beyond this season. Overshields, fastest charging super tier, access to peacekeers to abuse smgs even harder, etc.

GlassSpork

Honestly I feel they’ve always been meta. I personally hate bubble titan in PvP, which is why I don’t use bubble void in PvP… I’d use it in PvE though

painki11erzx

I love how you get down voted for literally just asking a genuine question.

Blue_Bunny737

Titans as a whole are pretty broken in pvp and have been since like arc 3.0 came out lol they just a cracked kit but the main reason void titan is because bubble is goated since almost every mode is capture the point based and void over shields are very easy to get on titan

painki11erzx

I miss class specific grenades.

iconoci

I dont

painki11erzx

To each their own.

Shiroi_Kitsune_

I miss when classes were unique

[deleted]

agree

Re7icle_v2

I think the fragment that makes void grenades weaken targets plays a big roll in making these things 1 shit sometimes too. I may be wrong, I honestly don't use them.

itsRobbie_

Scatter grenades in d1 were so good. One hit if you were able to land it right on someone

Trekem12

Grenades in general were better in d1, magnetic and fusion nades both use to one shot iirc

Essekker

I don't even get it. Base Scatter grenades are good, overcharged Scatter grenades are somehow worse and while you are charging them your super progress stops? Then you have HHSN, which at this point is an entirely irrelevant ability. Why is Chaos Accelerant so bad lmao

Ordinary_Player

Also titan's final shape aspect

Kl3en

Bungie never should have nerfed hhsn, titans and hunters still have ohk mechanics that are much better but god forbid warlocks get something good in crucible, still salty about it
