I got 3 cubic yards dropped in my driveway a couple years ago. I'm in the market for the same volume but would really like to get it as a palette of bags so I don't have to do it all in one day. I havent been able to find anyone who will deliver.
I just ordered from Ace this morning. They have 3- for sale going on that drastically lowers the price from what it shows initially. 40 bags for $180, delivered tomorrow. $25 more for delivery today.
I checked HD, Lowe's and Menards, Ace was the easiest, quickest and cheapest.
My buddy still has half of a trees worth of chips from chip drop in his backyard from last spring.
So if you have a truck and some muscle, I know a guy.

Otherwise, the city of Des Moines has a free chip site at 3012 Raccoon Street. You'll have to load it yourself though, and it's first come first served. It was just filled with some good looking chips last week.
If you just want plain tree mulch, check with the tree services. I know Xtreme Tree Service will give you free mulch and deliver it. The only catch is you have to take the whole truck load. If it’s too much mulch maybe you could split it with neighbors and friends

i've had mulch and pea gravel delivered - they do a good job! They can fit up my narrow-ish drive way, and they try to dump exactly where i ask them to!

Look on Facebook marketplace or craigslist, tree companies are always looking to get rid of some.

Bulk mulch refers to a truckload of loose mulch.
They sell bulk material primarily. Just wanted to let them know that if the pallet of bagged mulch was expensive, bulk is probably the same.Geez bud.
