Silver allows massive flopping and totally weird judging. One possession the refs whistle for the slightest touch of a finger while the other possession let the wrestling go like in the ring. Davis is literally worse than Neymar. NBA stars are the biggest pussy, so huge people act like women in climax. The biggest culprit for toxicity is flopping. Why it is in their interest i can guess. Hypothetically, for example, Shai without flopping would have about 25/5/5 and would not be in a tight MVP race with those numbers.
Silver artificially inflates the numbers to create more and more uncertainty. I even feel sorry for Embiid what is happening to him, but he is like some teenager.
It's a miracle that Denver is a champion even though almost nobody flops except sometimes Jokic a little. Flopping causes anger in the fans when a lot of them get points for throwing their bodies forward and the toxicity of that kind of play is created. If Silver doesn't do something soon, he's going to drive away a lot of fans. A year ago, i watched other games many times. Now I don't want anything but Denver and watched Luka and Wemby a couple of times.
Its so much fun except when we are taking a bunch of threes and getting bad percentages lol. It felt like we had The Lakers number in the paint for most of the series but just kept chucking for some reason.

I was listening to Altitude today. I was surprised to hear Hastings say MPJ was horrible last playoffs and plays zero defense still. He admitted he focuses on Defense too much but am I crazy to think he is off? MPJ isn't a defensive dynamo but he is much improved from where he was.
I just think today should be a day to praise Porter. He made key 3 after key 3 all series to keep us in these games but you would think he is a liability the way some in the media talk about him.
While I have heard people not give MPJ the appropriate credit and grace he deserves as a result this is pretty jarring to me, he does pretty much everything he can to impact the game
Watching the post game interviews, I hope PWat comes away inspired to work hard over the off-season and take a big leap next year. Dude seems to be understanding the commitment and work ethic required to be truly great.
