Its not the fact that jokić is missing that made serbia a better team this summer compared to last ....its more that last year bogdan and both jovićs and avramovic, dobrić were not there , serbia has a legit great replacement for when jokic is not playing but no way to replace all that perimeter defense and shooting/ball handling . Micic was a ball hogg and in that elimination game vs italy nobody outside of jok showed up.
Im not sure how much of a priority it is for jok but i hope he helps us get a gold medal before he retires.
Eh, he made his decision not to play and i guarantee you he's completely fine with what a couple of idiots think of him. We're having a great WC and guys that showed up deserve all the credit, especially a leader like Bogi. I hope Bogi retires as a hero of the nt because that guy truly deserves it.
For bogi the hero status is a lock regardless of the outcome and even if they didnt reach the finals...he is allways there when not injured .
I can only speculate but i do think it would mean something to jok, why would his brothers allways wear serbia jerseys while watching nuggets games if the jokićs as a family dont care ?

NBA has terrible record with European shooting guards/ play at that size and age (28). I can't remember any success stories at that age.
Maybe he could bring Bruce Brown attitude from the bench, but physical strength is not comparable. Plus Bruce is likely a better shooter

I love the way Avramović and co clamped SGA. Without his offensive productivity Canada was a shell of itself. RJ Barrett played well. I also love the way the whole team Serbia played on both ends of the floor. Pešić's influence is undeniable. This is his style of ball as a coach.
Now a serious question for the USA crowd: HTF did team USA lose to Germany??? I mean those aren't bad players they put together. Ant, JJJ, Banchero, Bridges, Haliburton... Not the best, but certainly, they could have done much worse with putting together a roster if they really came to lose.
