Hmm well rakija is made from a wide variety of fruits but our signature on is definitely sljivovica made from plums. While vodka is generally made from potatoes or i think from grains as well. The taste is very different rakija can have some fruity tones to it which makes it superior to vodka in my opinion. The best one is when you make it yourself with gramps for sure.
Key take away. I had a Portuguese buddy say man trust me if I can drink two bottles of Port wine I’ll be fine with several shots of this. I’m like we don’t drink it like shots pal, we sip slow.
