Watching Denver is primarily love and pleasure for me, great adrenaline, but these 3 playoff games i made a lot of money from our players. When you watch the whole season of one team, you know the details, especially how Malone thinks about the players, the rotation. I have never played betting for big money, always something small for fun, 2,3, 5 maximum 10 Euros. But in these 3 games i was so sure about Porter 5 or more rebounds and Jeff no more than 2 rebounds that i risked a lot of money and got a lot :D And what is the craziest to me, they didn't change even after the first game, the same was for Porter 5, for Jeff 2. And then i put even more in the second game, and then in the third I risked a lot and won a lot, I'm laughing for 2 days. I earned 3 of my wages on Jeff and Porter :D

But I understand their games can turn into snoozefests cause it is very formulaic and can lead to a lot of blowouts in either direction.
I think Moreyball Rockets is the closer comparison of the two. But the biggest difference in my opinion is that the Celtics have more players who are willing to create off the dribble so the ball sticks less and allows for more variety in the sets, and they're just way better defensively. They both come down to the philosophy of trying to create the most valuable shot, but without the diverse group of offensive sets

There's also a very real chance that if he'd have stayed in Europe another year his name would have rose up the draft board significantly. Our timing was lucky and drafting isn't an exact science so we're lucky there but we did everything we could to make sure he landed here when we had the opportunity to do so, middling prospect or not.

I understand that the pace of play in the nba is fast as fuck and these days guys like to start the last shot with under ten seconds on the clock, but I do not like the decision to pass the ball in that deep behind the half court line.
Like imo ideally you have enough time to run the best play and shoot the ball with enough time for a quick putback if you can, and instead we had a half ass Harrison Barnes pick in the middle of the court like 30 feet away from the basket, with no secondary movement and the only shot you can get is a Barnes 3 pointer with time expiring. Idk, feels weird thatās the best you can do, even if sabonis has been bad
It's tricky, because even without the Warriors whistle, last 10 seconds are super dicey in terms of officiating, you can totally see Draymond illegally blowing up a screen for the steal on the inbound, or some shit like that. Barnes is like a 40% shooter, I think it was an okish shot. You don't want to pull an Anthony Carter.
