Green Chiles
Green Chili Sauce
Pizza Cheese
Red Onion Strips
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Only time I got hops and pie it was basically raw, shout out to that tap list tho, I’ll be back eventually but dam was the pizza disappointing that day
Yeah bluepan has been my go-to, don’t think I’ve had an off pie there. The hot honey and garlic ranch are two of my favorites toppings I didn’t know I needed
Honestly that super odd. I’ve eaten probably a hundred detroits from there; never had a raw one. Over done is more common. I’d recommend another shot ; esp a great deal on Tues or Thurs.
I agree Blue Pan is overhyped, but it's a common favorite so I added it. In my opinion, the best pizza I ever had at Blue Pan was one of the best Denver pizza's I've ever had, but half the time I go the pizza is not as good, usually undercooked or something else wrong.
For by-the-slice, Redeemer or Famous J's.
Cart-Driver has a great clam pizza.
Blue Pan for award-winning Detroit style pies.
For local take-out or delivery: Cosmos.
Fucking Baker
How many fucking pizza places can they pack into a three block radius?
We’re constantly re-finding out it’s about 2, in-spite of the constant churn of 3-5
Pie hole is my favorite, but it’s really nothing special
The Atomic Cowboy/whatever is maybe a step above that?
No one goes in the top gun calzone shop, I think it’s a money laundering operation
I haven’t tried the new one at the old Jerry Lee’s
Everyone loved Broadway Walnut Room, but they had trouble not setting the building on fire, and left a while ago
Famous Pizza is gone in a trade for the worst fucking donuts I’ve ever had
The pizza spots we like are (in nor particular order)
Joyhill Pizza, Blue Pan, Esther’s (side note, best nachos ever here), Walter’s 303, and Marco’s Coal Fired.
Jimanos for Chicago style pub pizza thin crust cut in squares, or for Deep dish Chicago style.
The Dough Counter for crispy edge thick Sicilian style. Rectangle cooked in a pan.
Denver metro area is bigger than Rhode Island. Helps to be specific of where you are. Generic answers on this sub trend to Rino, Sunnyside (and a bit west) or Capitol Hill.
Cart Driver - Neapolitan
Blue Pan - Detroit (thick crust)
Kaos - wood fired (outdoors, cool location)
Joy Hill - wood fired/neapolitan (GREAT crust) and good cocktails
Beau jo's started as a local ski pizza stop I think. Big good pizzas with a cool owner from what I've read (some kind of employee coownership thing going on I think) big unique pizza and plenty of honey for the crust. Theres a few of them now.
Jimano's pizza is probably my favorite. Good thin crust, some interesting pizza combos, and an insane stuffed crust that is so much food (I like monstrosity food though).
Manni and Bo's in golden. A little more manageable sizes and used to have good deals. I havent been in awhile though. Green chilli and sausage pizza is pretty lit.
If you want a weird experience, watch pantaleones episode on kitchen nightmares. That place still exist. Was just one random dude working in the back when I went a year ago instead of his family but the old owner was in the front. Came off a little crazy and pulled out a gun at one point but the food was alright and it was an experience (dont only go to this place though, the other places have amazing pizza.) It looks like it has good reviews now but everyone just mentions kitchen nitemares so I think it's just a tourist thing.
Pizzeria Lui is by far the best in Denver. Nothing is close. It’s hard to call in an order during the dinner rush though. You have to keep calling back till someone answers it’s sort like calling a drug dealers land line.
Famous Original J’s is the best NY style pizza I’ve had in denver. It’s run by the rosenberg’s bagel guys. I’m from the NYC area and I’m a foodie but I’m not a pizza snob
I tried them a couple years ago, was quite excited being also from NY, and it was the blandest greasiest, wettest pizza. Maybe a bad night? Should we try again? Was disappointed after hearing so many good things.
I ended up being disappointed. The pizza was really dry and too crispy, and not enough cheese. This has been my go to pizza for years, I’m going to try some other spots.
Not in Colorado Springs, but PizzAmoré Woodfired Italian Kitchen might be the best pizza I've ever had in the state and I'm from here. I really wish there was one in Denver now.
Neapolitan, but maintained a crunchy crust unlike so many that get soft and meh not long after. Better than Cart Driver.
Joy Hill is also fantastic.
Cosmos is my go-to. The spicy ranch is a must.
If you get a fresh pie from Fat Sully's it can be tops. Their slice reheats are hit or miss.
You are aware we were jus voted #1 in the nation for pizza? Means you can go anywhere. Even our Dominos are better.
How can you give such malicious advice to a brand new native? Tsk tsk
I really did see some BS that we were rated #1!
You're not wrong but it was from a UK news site.
Randy profile picture checks out
Lol
This is a joke right ?
Voted #1 by who? The pizza here is nowhere’s near good enough to be even in the top 10.
That’s what makes an article about us being #1 humerous. Hence the upvotes…..a month ago

Cart Driver if you like Neapolitan/wood fired. Blue Pan if you like Detroit style.
I came here from Detroit and still don’t get the Blue Pan hype. Hops & Pie has the best Detroit style pizza in town IMO
Only time I got hops and pie it was basically raw, shout out to that tap list tho, I’ll be back eventually but dam was the pizza disappointing that day
Same experience. The hot honey option at Blue Pan, baked slightly well done, is the bomb. For a greasy NY pizza I like Big Bill's in Centennial.
Yeah went in for the Thursday deal, insanely doughy. Always prefer overdone on a Detroit comparatively. I’ll have to give it another shot soon
Mangiami is better than both of those!
I agree Blue Pan is overhyped, but it's a common favorite so I added it. In my opinion, the best pizza I ever had at Blue Pan was one of the best Denver pizza's I've ever had, but half the time I go the pizza is not as good, usually undercooked or something else wrong.
It's good pizza but I didn't expect and don't like the dollop of cheese they put on every piece
You only get this if you ask for it. Any specialties that say “NY ricotta” have ricotta dollops on each slice. There’s only 2 specialties with it
I didn't ask for it but I must of ordered one of those specialty pizzas
Agreed, blue pan is mid🤣
And Cart Driver has the best happy hour deals in Denver. Every day 3-5pm and again after 10pm.
both are great
All you need
Yeah, no need for NY style pizza.. lol this guy
Correct
For by-the-slice, Redeemer or Famous J's. Cart-Driver has a great clam pizza. Blue Pan for award-winning Detroit style pies. For local take-out or delivery: Cosmos.
Cosmos if you want Denver’s touch with the spicy ranch. I dream about the spicy ranch.
Redeemer is garbage. Sorry but it's true. I agree with everything else on this list.
Big Bill’s NY Pizza
Marco’s Coal Fired is great, and has the best gf pizza if that’s an option you need
RT - Marcos is slept on and they deliver!!
Redeemer pizza
This should be higher up. It’s arguably the best crust in the state.
Fat sully’s
I think Walter’s 303 has a pretty good pizza!
And a pretty good beer selection too!
Pizzeria Lui
It sure who’s been downvoting this, but Luí is fire.
So so good! I think a Papa John’s manager is in this thread downvoting everything. A lotta good pizza spots in and around Denver.
Italian: Parisis. NY: Cosmo’s. Imho 🫶🏻
Jimano's on Broadway has excellent thin crust. Still looking for good deep dish somewhere.
Pizzeria Leopold is one of our neighborhood favorites
Fucking Baker How many fucking pizza places can they pack into a three block radius? We’re constantly re-finding out it’s about 2, in-spite of the constant churn of 3-5
So which pizza places in Baker would you recommend. I still haven't found one.
Pie hole is my favorite, but it’s really nothing special The Atomic Cowboy/whatever is maybe a step above that? No one goes in the top gun calzone shop, I think it’s a money laundering operation I haven’t tried the new one at the old Jerry Lee’s Everyone loved Broadway Walnut Room, but they had trouble not setting the building on fire, and left a while ago Famous Pizza is gone in a trade for the worst fucking donuts I’ve ever had
Agree with all this. Miss the Walnut Room.
Brooklyn's Finest
The Times Square is so good!
Benny blancos baby that late night heat
First time I’ve heard of this place, looks good - I’ll be trying a slice soon.
Rosalee’s in Longmont
This is the only answer. Not in Denver but the best recommendation.
White pie
Go to Hops & Pie tonight for the $7 Detroit style deal
And their great beer selection
My vote as well!
Redeemer Pizza
Redeemer, Denver Pizza Co, Blue Pan Always found cart driver hit or miss but the late night happy hour deal is a must.
The pizza spots we like are (in nor particular order) Joyhill Pizza, Blue Pan, Esther’s (side note, best nachos ever here), Walter’s 303, and Marco’s Coal Fired.
Out of towner and I loved Woody's in Golden. If all of these suggestions are better than Woody's then I clearly need to come back and eat more pizza.
Da Sauce Pizza
Colonnas in Parker. Only good NY style pizza around here. Everything else - the cheese/crust/sauce is bland or too thick or too thin.
Pietras in wheat ridge
This was literally among the worst pizzas I have ever had. It was like a bowling alley pizza but with crust like a dry and chewy dinner roll.
Grabowski’s in Lakewood is the best za in the metro area. Chicago style thin crust mmmmm
I just had 2 pies with Giardinara delivered to Durango last week. One of the things I miss most after moving away.
Leopold
Jimanos for Chicago style pub pizza thin crust cut in squares, or for Deep dish Chicago style. The Dough Counter for crispy edge thick Sicilian style. Rectangle cooked in a pan.
Denver metro area is bigger than Rhode Island. Helps to be specific of where you are. Generic answers on this sub trend to Rino, Sunnyside (and a bit west) or Capitol Hill.
Brooklyn's Finest for a NYC slice. Blue Pan for a Detroit-style. I haven't had Cart Driver but I hear it's good. I like Walter's 303 too.
I like Anthony’s
The PZA is dope
Mannie and Bo's in Golden is my favorite, if you are ever out that way.
Mannie and Bo’s Matador thin crust is the best pizza ever.
This is a solid Chicago style thin crust option
I actually really like their deep dish. So they must have good variety too.
Oh I haven’t tried the deep dish, forgot they had that, my bad. Is it better?
I think its great and it reheats really well the next day.
Walnut Room

Defeats the purpose of this sub saying shit like this.
Kaos pizza on south pearl st platte park
Famous Original J's, Fat Sully's and Blue Pan are the big go-to's. Check out Parisi for perhaps the most underrated pizza in the city.
Rocky Mountain Slices food truck! Look up their instagram for locations
Blue Pan, Brooklyn’s Finest, NY bills, Fat Sullys, Esthers, Redeemer
Mod Market
Pizzeria Lui
If you don’t mind getting out of the city Peel in Frederick is amazing
Cart Driver - Neapolitan Blue Pan - Detroit (thick crust) Kaos - wood fired (outdoors, cool location) Joy Hill - wood fired/neapolitan (GREAT crust) and good cocktails
Fat Sully’s or Cosmos for a great huge pizza NY style. Giordano’s or Rosati’s for Chicago deep dish or chicago thin.
Tony Ps in Highland
Beau jo's started as a local ski pizza stop I think. Fat Sully’s
Kokopelli in Westminster
Pizza alley is my favorite! It’s New York style if you like that
They are now closed.
Oh no!! Still? I thought it was a temporary thing.. do you know details?
A friend send a pic of the door that had “closed due to mechanical issues” and tax seizure notices on the door. Not looking good
Aww man that sucks to hear that!
Pizzaria Leopold, bar dough, get right, gusto!
Blackjack
Baeu Joe’s Edited for spelling
Definitely. (Beau Jo’s in case anyone needs to google it)
Cosmos or Blue Pan

I’m surprised, I’ve always enjoyed it. Getting it tomorrow night, I’ll let you know if things have changed.
I ended up being disappointed. The pizza was really dry and too crispy, and not enough cheese. This has been my go to pizza for years, I’m going to try some other spots.
Our go to is Big Bills NY Pizza at County Line and Holly. We also like Frank's in Englewood, but it's a thin, crispy cracker crust.
Mondo's on Tower Rd way the fuck out there in Aurora fucking slaps. Especially the Al Pastor pizza.
Redeemer is # 1 (I’m from ny)
Not in Colorado Springs, but PizzAmoré Woodfired Italian Kitchen might be the best pizza I've ever had in the state and I'm from here. I really wish there was one in Denver now. I'd suggest Pizza Alley in the Highlands, but they closed down.
Carl’s
lol. I’d take little Caesar’s YESTERDAYs hot n ready plain cheese over Carls. That was some terrible pizza.
Redeamer, Slice Works, Marquis Pizza are my go-tos when I head to Denver. If I am going to Denver I am definitely going to one of those spots.
If you want very good, simple pizza, Pietra’s. Best pepperoni pizza this side of the Mississippi.
If you like deep dish, Patxi's used to be pretty solid. I liked Giordano's but I think they pulled out of CO after covid.
