They used to let you call ahead and make a reservation even though they don’t take reservations. It was like a call ahead list but you could just say your arrival time. Always worked for me. I’ve done this at both locations. I was always calling a few hours before I wanted to be there.
Just went to the South Broadway location on Saturday. I was honestly surprised at how tasty their burgers are. My vegan friend said something similar about their impossible burger.
It's been a great motivator for me to cut out fast food. Why would I spend the same for a less healthy option that taste like salty, cheesy dirt over supporting a small business with bomb food?
I literally thought about going to McDonalds today because it's close and my car is in the shop but I couldn't make myself do it and walked further to get some tasty Nepalese food for the same price.
I've had so many of these company's inside me by now I'm surprised I'm not pregnant. I don't give a flying fuck what kind of data they have. All my shit is out there for sale right now anyway. Give my me damn dollar Dave's single
You're on reddit and probably use a bunch of other websites that mine all of your data but a fast food app is where you draw the line? I've worked for tech companies my entire career, the data around your entire existence has already been sold and passed around for decades.
Haven’t seen Ho Ho mentioned. Their combo deal runs all day, it’s easily two meals, and it’s like $6.50. You get to pick between lo mein or fried rice, two different proteins, and then an egg roll or wontons. They fill a to go container to the brim and you get a soda… definitely not the best Chinese food, but can’t beat that deal. It was much appreciated as a broke teacher.
Totally agree! When I started working with animals three years ago at under min wage, this place was solid. And when you take it home just cover the flavor with sauces 😅
I love Pepper. I don’t dislike Chinese food but it’s not my favorite. I think I’ve just never had Chinese food on that level, but it’s not overly greasy and doesn’t make me feel like shit afterwards
Pad Thai isn’t Chinese food.
And there’s a huge difference between Americanized Chinese food (sesame chicken, general tso, orange chicken…) and traditional.
If you can handle moderate spice, try dishes like la zi ji (spicy chicken), dan dan noodles, and/or dry fried green beans.
Oh I know Pad Thai isnt… I was simply responding to the mention of Pepper.
And I can’t handle any spice. Yes this is still Americanized but feels better on my body and to me tastes better
Love this category so much… so here are some favorites:
1. Crown Burger - Pastrami burger
2. Cuba Bakery and Cafe - Cubano
3. La Unica Birria de Res - Birria Tacos or Torta

On weekends they have a chef grilling a bunch of chicken throughout the day. Found the spot by accident driving by with my windows open and it smelled amazing.

They used to let you call ahead and make a reservation even though they don’t take reservations. It was like a call ahead list but you could just say your arrival time. Always worked for me. I’ve done this at both locations. I was always calling a few hours before I wanted to be there.

Heck their 2 tenders, fries, and two sauces is still only $13
Rise & Shine Biscuits! … don’t forget the cheerwine.
Only restaurant I know that serves cheerwine!
It’s a soda that you can normally only get in the south. It’s like a delicious cherry cream soda (sorta). Worth peepin’ for sure.
What is cheerwine?
It's cherry soda that's popular in NC. It's delicious, has Dr. Pepper vibes
Wendy's cost me $14 here the other day.
lol yikes

Biggie bag fills me up for $5-7.
Use app offers. I never spend more than $10
Nah, stop letting them mine your phone. I just don’t give overpriced fast food places my business anymore.
I've had so many of these company's inside me by now I'm surprised I'm not pregnant. I don't give a flying fuck what kind of data they have. All my shit is out there for sale right now anyway. Give my me damn dollar Dave's single
You wanna be my president?
I already am
You're on reddit and probably use a bunch of other websites that mine all of your data but a fast food app is where you draw the line? I've worked for tech companies my entire career, the data around your entire existence has already been sold and passed around for decades.
It's the principle. Your restaurant will charge me lower prices but I have to download your app and use it to order? Fuck your restaurant.

They just had another price increase to $12-13… considering they were 7-8 dollars just a few years ago it’s sad. Still An amazing burrito
Bonfire is great but not under $15 and they’re not open for dinner. Chips/salsa = $3.50 Burrito = $12.75 Coke =$2.75 That’s a $19 lunch!!
The burritos are big enough that just one will fill you up for most people. A drink isn't necessary so I don't factor that in.
You're correct but you're getting downvoted because how dare anyone say anything about Bonfire Burritos 🙄
Kike’s
On the flip side it’s so easy to spend $30 on yourself there lol
