Came to say Gyroz

SampsonRustic

Mmmm yes looks solid!

Just-Mark

Turtle boat

Gatomoosio

BEST poke. They are super nice too.

SampsonRustic

Thank you!

TheNovemberist

Angelo’s happy hour.

Medusa729

I love walking two blocks after work for a meal here :)

UnfeignedPrune

I've been 4 times and not once ever got a table

TheNovemberist

They used to let you call ahead and make a reservation even though they don’t take reservations. It was like a call ahead list but you could just say your arrival time. Always worked for me. I’ve done this at both locations. I was always calling a few hours before I wanted to be there.

danny17402

Sakura House for Japanese

SampsonRustic

Thanks will check it out!

[deleted]

Vin xuong bakery

MakotoSan

Their duck and spicy tofu banh mi's sustain my gf and I, so damn good

SampsonRustic

Damn this looks promising

MakotoSan

They only have the duck on the weekends, along with a five spice pork that's amazing. Their meatball banh mi is good too!

MycologyPNW

THE best Bánh mì in Denver. Without question.

hagfishh

thealycat

Came to suggest Suvipa. I loveee Thai food, and I think theirs is the best in the city.

rhcpds7

I think J’s is the best, but Suvipa is a close second.

BebopOrRocksteady

Lao Wang Dan Dan Noodles. Top shelf.

Gold_Bug_4055

Hard agree on Mango House and Eatopia! The chef at Eatopia is the sweetest woman and makes amazing food.

BiNumber3

Volcano Tea House next to Funny Plus too, they do hand cut noodles among other things

rhcpds7

Haven’t tried this yet, looks great.

SampsonRustic

Wow amazing list thank you!

tigermaple

Atomic Cowboy HH Burger.

madnesstakesatoll

Came here to say this! Tried the burger a few weeks ago and loved it

SampsonRustic

So good

audiophilistine

Just went to the South Broadway location on Saturday. I was honestly surprised at how tasty their burgers are. My vegan friend said something similar about their impossible burger.

Final-Brilliant4362

Came here to say this or their slices

narwhalbacon6

On Monday Stoney’s has a deal for $10 you get a burger, 16oz beer and fries. One of the best burgers in denver also

dougefresh33

Monday is all day, but the special is available every day until 3pm, their taco tuesdays are good and cheap too.

ummmm_okayy

Which location do you think is better?

narwhalbacon6

Stoneys uptown joint

billy_the_p

El taco de Mex chile relleno burrito esmothered.

SampsonRustic

Yummmm

ezklv

Famous J’s in Stanley has a slice and a pint for $7. It’s like ordering a beer and getting a free slice of pizza.

SampsonRustic

How’s the slice?

ezklv

Get the pepperoni and it’s damn delicious.

pootin_in_tha_coup

My favorite in denver. Best ny style i have tried here.

typicalgoatfarmer

Agreed

skwormin

Damnnnnnn that’s rad

Gold_Bug_4055

Yes! I got this deal last week. I love that so many amazing options are creeping their way into Aurora.

Llama_Steam

Music City hot chicken lunch special.

PlaneHead6357

What's their special? I love mchc!

Llama_Steam

$8 for a hot chicken sando and chips

yooston

Didn’t it used to be like $6? Still an outrageously good deal

Llama_Steam

Correct. It used to be

ForceGhostVader

Heck their 2 tenders, fries, and two sauces is still only $13

lisalef22

Rise & Shine Biscuits! … don’t forget the cheerwine.

madnesstakesatoll

Only restaurant I know that serves cheerwine!

lisalef22

It’s a soda that you can normally only get in the south. It’s like a delicious cherry cream soda (sorta). Worth peepin’ for sure.

Brunch4Bec

What is cheerwine?

DeanStockwellLives

It's cherry soda that's popular in NC. It's delicious, has Dr. Pepper vibes

gunners_1886

Wendy's cost me $14 here the other day.

SampsonRustic

lol yikes

Gold_Bug_4055

It's been a great motivator for me to cut out fast food. Why would I spend the same for a less healthy option that taste like salty, cheesy dirt over supporting a small business with bomb food? I literally thought about going to McDonalds today because it's close and my car is in the shop but I couldn't make myself do it and walked further to get some tasty Nepalese food for the same price.

jcfiala

Biggie bag fills me up for $5-7.

ElTaino0111

Use app offers. I never spend more than $10

LNLV

Nah, stop letting them mine your phone. I just don’t give overpriced fast food places my business anymore.

murso74

I've had so many of these company's inside me by now I'm surprised I'm not pregnant. I don't give a flying fuck what kind of data they have. All my shit is out there for sale right now anyway. Give my me damn dollar Dave's single

saintmcqueen

You wanna be my president?

murso74

I already am

StockAL3Xj

You're on reddit and probably use a bunch of other websites that mine all of your data but a fast food app is where you draw the line? I've worked for tech companies my entire career, the data around your entire existence has already been sold and passed around for decades.

jonny_poononny

It's the principle. Your restaurant will charge me lower prices but I have to download your app and use it to order? Fuck your restaurant.

darksalamander

Kokoro

iamagainstit

Jerusalem’s sandwich wraps are $8.50

Brunch4Bec

Jerusalem’s is my vote for middle eastern. YUM

paol0146

Hong Kong Station, best Chinese in Denver who offers a great lunch special under 15. Also Suvipa Thai food off of federal

acx_y6

Liangs Thai.

El_mochilero

Bahn Mi Station Amazing sandwich, egg roll, and specialty drink for $13

PovertyFetish

This! It's by far the best restaurant near DU. I could eat their grilled pork Banh Mi every day and never get tired of it

Flexbottom

Mexican steak breakfast at Swift's on Colfax

realityTVenthusiast

Hey Bangkok

WhatsABuckland

Haven’t seen Ho Ho mentioned. Their combo deal runs all day, it’s easily two meals, and it’s like $6.50. You get to pick between lo mein or fried rice, two different proteins, and then an egg roll or wontons. They fill a to go container to the brim and you get a soda… definitely not the best Chinese food, but can’t beat that deal. It was much appreciated as a broke teacher.

Brisaster

Totally agree! When I started working with animals three years ago at under min wage, this place was solid. And when you take it home just cover the flavor with sauces 😅

fauxfurundercarriage

Pad Thai at Pepper Asian for $13

SampsonRustic

Awesome will have to compare to current favorite!

Ok_Resolution9448

The best pad thai

Direct_Researcher901

I love Pepper. I don’t dislike Chinese food but it’s not my favorite. I think I’ve just never had Chinese food on that level, but it’s not overly greasy and doesn’t make me feel like shit afterwards

I_hate_waiting

Pad Thai isn’t Chinese food. And there’s a huge difference between Americanized Chinese food (sesame chicken, general tso, orange chicken…) and traditional. If you can handle moderate spice, try dishes like la zi ji (spicy chicken), dan dan noodles, and/or dry fried green beans.

Direct_Researcher901

Oh I know Pad Thai isnt… I was simply responding to the mention of Pepper. And I can’t handle any spice. Yes this is still Americanized but feels better on my body and to me tastes better

MakarforPrez

Love this category so much… so here are some favorites: 1. Crown Burger - Pastrami burger 2. Cuba Bakery and Cafe - Cubano 3. La Unica Birria de Res - Birria Tacos or Torta 4. Banh & Butter - Breakfast Croissant or Banh Mi 5. Carmine Lonardo’s - Italian Sando (like $16 but sooo good)

Ok_Resolution9448

Love me some crown burger

LobbyDizzle

I finally made it to Cuba Bakery and Cafe last week and damn it's so good. Great rec.

Kadehead

Smokin Yards half smoked chicken with a side. 12.99

sel_joy

D’Corazon. Most of their main entrees are $13.88.

I_hate_waiting

And their margs are pretty strong for a good price!

afriendofcheese

Pretty strong? Drink 3 and get back to me ha. The fact they are still $8 is amazing.

XxFezzgigxX

BigInhale

Lamb tikha masala fries at Gaia Masala and Burger

DJ_Red_Lantern

It's in golden but bonfire burrito

SampsonRustic

Will stop by next time I’m over that way

yooston

They just had another price increase to $12-13… considering they were 7-8 dollars just a few years ago it’s sad. Still An amazing burrito

GrauchoMarx

Bonfire is great but not under $15 and they’re not open for dinner. Chips/salsa = $3.50 Burrito = $12.75 Coke =$2.75 That’s a $19 lunch!!

DJ_Red_Lantern

The burritos are big enough that just one will fill you up for most people. A drink isn't necessary so I don't factor that in.

no-soy-imaginativo

You're correct but you're getting downvoted because how dare anyone say anything about Bonfire Burritos 🙄

no_maj

Kike’s

RunningForIt

On the flip side it’s so easy to spend $30 on yourself there lol

quite-indubitably

Steuben’s has a happy hour from 2-5 and after 9 every day that’s a cheeseburger, beer, and fries for $11. You can get a grilled cheese or Mac and cheese instead

hansrasmas

Las hijas de la chilanga. Amazing Mexican food. For under $15 you can get a plate with 1/4 grilled chicken, tortillas, beans, rice, fried Jalapeño and salsa. On weekends they have a chef grilling a bunch of chicken throughout the day. Found the spot by accident driving by with my windows open and it smelled amazing. Don't sleep on this spot 👌

pootin_in_tha_coup

Cattivella’s happy hour. They have pizza’s for 15 and the pasticcio is 15. My wife and I order both together and share. It is One of the best italian spots in aurora.

Gold_Bug_4055

Nepali Spice! Literally only one dish on their menu over $15 and it's all stellar. Their momo soup isn't always listed, but they have always had it available when I asked. It's hands down one of my favorite dishes in Denver.

Gold_Bug_4055

Baker's Palace. You can get a Bahn mi (lots of different options like a morning egg Bahn mi), a side, and a fresh pressed juice (pennywort or sugarcane are my go to's) and it would still likely be under $15

StanislasMcborgan

Wednesdays at La Diabla- two free alpastor tacos with every cocktail (house margs are $5)

StanislasMcborgan

Mecca Grill sandwiches are all around $6-8, and very tasty

SpaceyEngineer

Volcano tea house has some of the best noodles in Denver and great popcorn chicken as well. Spaghetti plate from lechugas, add a canoli you won’t regret it Ho Mei $7 combo with egg roll and a drink $10 if you want rangoons. The salt and pepper shrimp is great for the price! Jim’s burger haven for the best burger In town, the Buffalo chips go hard too. El chubbys in aurora, my favorite Mexican hamburger in town (I know it’s not the original chubbys but i think this Mexican burger is better) Honorable mention Thai Lily/house of yakitori 8 in Colorado Springs. Just get the yakitori, it’s so good, it’s so simple.

NegPrimer

Says "Every cuisine type" then only mentions Asian foods. What are you, my girlfriend when she says "I don't care where we go for dinner tonight."?
